    i have kansasii in my hand of all places. not fun, it has caused significant damage to my hand and wrist.

    I live in the same city as this doctor and I had MAC in 2004.

    We canot treat my mom with Rifampin. According to the docters it cannot be used as a treatment do to blood thinners she must take. Is there an alternative drug that we could try.

    Cavitary Disease In MAC can I use clarithromycin,azithromycin,eithambutol,rafmpin and amikacin at same time ? Because I want to get rid of it soon

      All together? No ! , but you can try AZM 500 mg, ethambutol 25 mg/kg, and rifampin 600 mg 3 times weekly - Please, consult your Doctor. I am not a complete Doctor yet.
