    Great in depth video. I really like this kid unfortunately he’s not worth the risk taking him in the first round and most likely won’t be on the board in the second round for my Pistons

      @statnerdperspective9063  Před 5 lety +1

      Loud Pack yeah teens may be a slight reach on him, and mid 2nd definitely seems unlikely. Can’t recall how much zone y’all ran this season either, but of course that could drastically change by the season

    • @DrLoudPacks
      @DrLoudPacks Před 5 lety +2

      Patrick Oxford We ran it like maybe 6 times but Zone is what killed us when teams did it on us. There’s rumors of us trading down but if we do then I want us to take Bazley. If Thybulle was 6’7 I’d absolutely want him but we desperately need a wing that size or taller

      80sruler I was gonna post the same thing. He just rambles incoherently and his play by play guy doesn’t even acknowledge what he’s talking about. Lol

    Good video but some of these clips are from 2 years ago. So this doesn’t really give a good look into his abilities currently. I do think it’s cool that he said pairing with Josh Richardson would be a terror. They are both on the Sixers now!!!

    • @statnerdperspective9063
      @statnerdperspective9063  Před 5 lety +2

      Dj Lee yeah I used the clips from his sophomore year primarily to show him playing man defense since it was very rare for him to play man this year. And most clips are from this past season, so I think it still gives a good look at what he currently can do

    • @djlee202
      @djlee202 Před 5 lety +1

      Patrick Oxford good point. I like the analysis on this. Do you think his free throw ability is more predictive of his shooting ability at the next level. Or is his 3 point percentage shows his overall shooting ability?

    • @statnerdperspective9063
      @statnerdperspective9063  Před 5 lety +1

      Dj Lee i think he will probably be a slightly below average 3pt shooter for his career with some fairly good shooting seasons and a couple bad ones. He just had his worst 3pt shooting season this year and was still at least at the point where he had to be guarded.

    • @djlee202
      @djlee202 Před 5 lety +2

      Patrick Oxford i agree. I think his best case scenario is a Danny Green type which for a team like the Sixers is a good player. I hope the Sixers allow him to develop and make his mistakes during the season so he can be a contributor in the playoffs

    Very nice breakdown. I am not seeing a late lottery pick like I have heard some say he has risen to be. Thybulle has a lot to learn. He has to learn how to be a sound defender because the NBA will fake him until he learns not to gamble for stats. He was 5-39 on 2 point jump shots according to hoop-math.com which is so bad that it is a limiting factor even in the three point and dunk happy NBA. I do covet him however in the latter first , early 2nd round for the Sixers. He probably will have very limited minutes for the Sixers unless he takes care of the gambling aspect of his defense quickly. The reason is the Sixers rarely play their rookies a lot. Shamet was used a lot but Thybulle is a little raw. Plus the Sixers hardly employ the zone at all. He can obviously learn with those good instincts but how long will it take him?

    If spurs would draft him he will be a better player.. his D and 3 pt shot well improved .. Playing along side former washington player Dejounte Murray that would be awesone then add White.,there will be block party and steal... i can only dream lol

    • @Goodsense215
      @Goodsense215 Před 5 lety +3

      Right.. Say goodbye to Irving and probably Horford. Celtics are stuck with a mediocre roster with Gordon Hayward 🤣. Thybulle and Smith will be putting the clamps on Brown and Tatum. Embiid, Jimmy (Hopefully) and Simmons will be hounding all over the court.

    • @M3333C
      @M3333C Před 5 lety

      Cool_T_215. Tatum and hayward torched the Sixers when they played without Kyrie. Horford is great, but we’re legit 5-1 vs sixers without Kyrie. Yall gave up hella assets for 2 players who are leaving. Embiid and Simmons have shown that just them together isnt a good team. But i get your insecurity, u must be getting tired of always being overshadowed and fleeced by the Celtics. Such is life as a philly fan

      Cool_T_215 dude said Thybulle and Smith.. nigga who?? 😂. Celtics actually got an intriguing, versitile roster. Sixers only got embiid, simmons, and a bunch of d leaguers. Dude really said Smith 😂
