You keep saying "don't go into lightfall without a fully crafted(Insert weapon)" I'm confused are these weapon patterns also going away? I thought they stay.
@@yackemup Nope. Seasonal guns will always be unobtainable once the following expansion/DLC comes out. What ever gun is NOT tied to seasons, I think THEY will stay. Don't quote me on that, though. 😅

Are the raid weapons going away?
Since you mentioned heritage, i want to throw in posterity. The DSC hand cannon. It can be crafted with volt shot in column 3 and either rampage or frenzy on column 4. Great for pve. And even if its a 180rpm its (not meta but) actually good in pvp as well.
I have no regrets. I run only fatebringer and plug. I'm perpetually stuck in season of splicer...

Farm Phryzhia in Grasp of Avarice, he’s an easy 2-phase in master mode, or a 1-phase if your team’s sweaty. He drops class items, leggings, and MATADOR 64. You’ll always get something interesting.
I really like the bow “under your skin.”
It just feels so good to use, the sights are clean, and it can be crafted with both enhanced archers tempo and successful warmup.
Adaptive munitions/archers tempo with volatile rounds puts in work in higher end content.

It also feels unfair to use if you get (enhanced) hipfire grip + opening shot/successful warmup. Absolute monster that can 2 body, or easily swap to a handcannon to clean up and is VERY hard to miss due to all the aim assistance and accuracy it gives
Under Your Skin is a phenomenally great bow. 17/10 would craft again
I really think they should keep the red borders per day deal. It’s not like it’s hurting anything, and it helps people like me who only have a few hours a week to be able to catch up with grind monsters.
About Disparity: it should be noted it's the only gun as of now that can one shot stasis crystals without the fragment as long as you're using Hakke breach armaments. This along with the fact it can get headstone makes it a beast for pve stasis builds, especially behemoth.
Wish Ender 1 shots and gls do too, I use them regularly with my Stasis hunter
The Salvager’s Salvo is a great substitute for Forbearance in case you don’t do raids very often.
Salvo can be purchased from the Exotic Archive in the Tower, and while it is a steep price, the perk selection is S-tier.
That GL was amazing in Legend Campaign WQ
Salvo carried me through WQ. I have about 10k kills with it since WQ 😅
there's also Deafening Whisper if you don't any other wave gl, but this is like old and doesn't roll such good perks
Yep, that's a good one, I have it. The only downside is Forbearance has better ease of use. Salvo, you can miss or the enemy can dodge. Forbearance, just shoot at the ground and watch the fireworks, lol.
@@equestrianmidnight5619 Forebearance (and Cataclysmic for that matter) is the most objectively overpowered raid weapon the franchise has ever seen imo.
I'd probably add Succession to that list. Same farming area as Heritage, plus kinetics are getting a dmg buff in Lightfall. With PvP perks like Moving Target in the 3rd column, and Snapshot and Box Breathing in the 4th, and with the must-have PvE perk set of Reconstruction/Firing Line, it makes for a great special weapon
I personally think the judgment of kelgorath is worth a pick up. Hardest hitting glaive and the only to my knowledge with close to melee, free 30% buff you can keep up pretty much all the time. With the right build you can outdamage linears with glaive and pair that with anarchy probably being meta in light fall. Super worth

@@thebigmeme10 personally I recommend close to melee with overflow, pugalist, or demolitionist. Depends on how it’s synergies with your build. On void Titan I use demo to get my Grenade faster for the debuff but on solar Titan if (when) I lost my hammer I like the pugilist for melee energy to proc radiant again and the extra swap speed is pretty nice. Overflow is generally useful and never bad to have. Whatever floats your boat

It's also worth picking up enhanced demo/wellspring. Iirc it's the only crafted special that can get that roll and both special weapons and enhanced perks give more ability energy.

For chill clip Fusions, I think the Deliverance from Vow is goated.
Demo + Chill clip is too good of a combo to pass up. Crazy ad clear especially on stasis and easy grenade regen. Plus it’s craftable.
I’m guessing it wasn’t included because the choice is between forbearance and deliverance if you haven’t crafted or obtained either.
But I’d argue that deliverance is just as valuable, especially if you don’t want to run pvp or have a good grenade build.
IMO, if you are already rocking a stasis subclass, chill clip is overkill. I prefer Rip Tide over Deliverance because rapid fire fusions are higher DPS and more comfortable to use.

Vow is next week's (7/2/23-14/2/23) weekly featured raid so you can farm a Deliverance if you want alongside Forbearance
Deliverance is omega goated for ove and pvp. Demo/Chill Clip for pve, Perpetual/Tap the Trigger for pvp. So nice I double enhanced it twice!
The slightly underrated weapon I’d add is Under Your Skin, the Risen bow (get it at the war table). It can roll both archer’s tempo and successful warmup, which gives you comically low draw time on the best bow frame. It’s void too, so it can even ad clear with volatile rounds (obviously not as well as an SMG, but it’s still great). Other than that, it also gets dragonfly, which was buffed and is also good for ad clear.
It’s my 3rd highest level shaped weapon, enhanced archers tempo and explosive payload. It feels so nice to use
What about tripwire Canary, Arc and you can craft with Dragonfly and Explosive head😉🍻.
@@derek3154 I love it! I crafted mine with Dragonfly and Frenzy because of how unique it is. It's excellent, though it doesn't have that synergy with Arc 3.0 that Under Your Skin does with Void (mainly because of volatile rounds), so I haven't used it as much as like a Voltsholt weapon (I guess it would be broken and an instant replacement for Trinity if it had it).

I rock a tarnished mettle with rapid hit + explosive payload for high end content like GMs. If you're doing the legend campaign on lightfall, that is a good perk combo to go with because voltshot will be a bit tougher to proc
It's not seasonal but if we're including Raid weapons I highly recommend getting Doom of Chelchis from King's Fall, it's a Void Scout Rifle that can roll Explosive Payload + Frenzy together which are both damage increasing perks that don't require any kills to activate which can really help when you need to play safe from further back. (And since it's Void it'll pair well with any Void centered builds you might have.)
Not only that it has a bunch of double perks.
funny enough i do have one with explosive payload and focused fury. it is also the only weapon i have from that raid since the furthest i've gotten so far is the second combat section.
I feel like Drang and Brigand’s Law can be supplementary to the Mini Tool and Mettle for the same reasons of them rolling those elemental damage perks, although since they are sidearms they will lack that rage.
I've myself a Drang with Disruption Break and Swashbuckler. Sidearms pair nicely with Swashbuckler where you're in melee clean up range. Disruption Break lets you pop a shield, and then get 50% bonus kinetic damage against that target for a few seconds. I have a ALH/Rampage kinetic GL I normally pair with the Drang. Great combo.
The only reason Brigands is not on this list is because ikelos smg rolls with voltshot. That sidearm was my go to outside of GMs

It's an odd one, but Path of Least Resistance from the Seraph portion of the H.E.L.M has a unique perk combo that I've seen barely anyone mention: triple tap/focused fury. For those who don't know, this weapon is a _trace rifle_ of all things, and I could see that combo possibly working wonders in the future depending on the set-up. It also comes with voltshot, for those interested.
In close to mid-range Brigand's Law is the superior Voltshot weapon from Season of the Plunder. It is most definitely top tier.
I was slapping opps in PVP with this when I first crafted it: Voltshot and Perpetual Motion.
It's also excellent for ability builds because Demo and Pugilist roll on separate columns, so if you're already clearing enemies out with grenades and melees, you can also use that (obvs voltshot is just the best option overall, but having those two perks at the same time is a rarity).
The actual best Voltshot weapon right now is Gunnora's Axe, because it has the highest multiplier.

I would like to point out that the new Tripwire Canary bow should get some attention, recently I've been loving it in PvP and with its origin trait (ambush) it makes the draw time incredibly fast I don't know why people are sleeping on it cuz the draw time on it could be as fast as you blinking at its so fun.
Lingering Dread, the grenade launcher from Duality, I think will be a worth farm. Blind grenade, auto loading, chill clip seems like great add clear/champion killer
The ALH only benefits the first round. For the second round to freeze, you have to reload manually. Better to use one of fusions instead which have faster time to freeze.
@@MrinalKantiM Its less about the "freeze" and more about the "slow". I would gladly rather the option of reloading to freeze, or the option to auto-load and leave the enemy blinded from the blinding rounds
@@RadicalZetta Riptide also has ALH and the Aurvandil has reconstruction which is arguably even better than ALH. Most bosses are immune to blinding effects anyways and the legendary GLs penalizes heavily for missing shots which is not the case with these fusions.
@@MrinalKantiM reconstruction is simply better than ALH for aurvandil. It reloads from like 0-2 to 5-7 slower sure but you should really be spacing out shots with chill clip and since chill clip is active in the top half of the magazine, the 200% capacity gets the benefit down to 50%. If you have enhanced battery and backup mag, that's *11* consecutive chill clip shots (chill clip in a 7 magazine stops at 3, you can get up to 14 with recon) and since recon works when in hand, not just holstered, you have 12-14 shots of chill clip without reloading once. Enough for 6-7 champion stuns (depending on the champion) with 0 special ammo drops and 0 reloads.
Tarnation Arc HGL from wellspring is a beast, enhanced chain reaction and enhanced field prep, coupled with the upcoming buff would be a good alternative to Wendigo if ya can’t get it.
Deliverance is a classic for Chill Clip since it also has Demolitionist and makes it great for the typical Bleak Watcher spam build
8:30 Enhanced Shoot to Loot gives +5 range, which... isn't a lot, but if you want to min/max your initial range on an SMG it is, technically, an option as well
Also autoreloads guns so it can be good for passive play
The Typhon GL5 can roll with demo/chill clip OR demo/explosive light, and it can be farmed at the star chart in the HELM by focusing omolon weapons. Should be a good dps option for stasis builds
And if you're focusing Omolon weapons you get a shot at this and the reconstruction/chillclip fusion.
It's also a _very_ frequent drop from regular ol' legendary engrams.
My Retrofit has zen moment and vorpal. Makes it easy to do more damage to a big boss crit spot when zen turns it to a laser beam, with a boss mod cherry on top. Love it. Hyped to pair that with the new mg damage buff
All three Legendary Trace Rifles have amazing things going for them for double special loadouts. Stats For All/Voltshot on Path, Lead From Gold/Repulsor Brace on Denial, and Subsistence/Incandescent on Retraced will all go hard now that Match Game is leaving. My pick for the one to rule them all is Hollow Denial with Enhanced Lead From Cold/Enhanced Repulsor Brace on a Gyrfalcon's Hauberk Void build.
Having the god roll chill clip and reconstruction fusion, I can definitely say it’ll be a must have for Day 1 raiding. Great way to slow enemies and it’s always available. Hopefully it won’t get nerfed. Can’t believe I’ve slept on it so long
That fusion has probably one of the best fusion rolls, but is still a high impact fusion which makes it feel really bad in pve. Fire too slow and doesn't feel like it deals enough dmg. Same reason why very few are using midhas reckoning with reservoir burst.
riptide might be better tbh, it just feels so much faster than that one. both are so nice tho i love them
It's good but Riptide will freeze a target/champ before your first bolt fires.
Bungie WILL nerf chill clip. They always nerf things that are popular or just have too many players using it, even if it isn't op.
Little Note: the Vow of the Disciple fusion rifle Deliverance can also roll with chill clip and is craftable, if you want to eliminate the RNG factor
the frame of that gun is terrible . It sucks with chillclip it barely stuns like how it does on riptide . Not worth getting might as well use a proper overlord or anti barrier weapon

Path of least resistance could be interesting too. If you're into trace rifles. can run volt shot and adaptive munitions or subsistence. plus it can proc arc blind with the fragment thats allows special weapons to blind enemies when amped
Another solar build weapon I use is a crafted Zaouli’s Bane with explosive incandescent. But I can see why it’s not in the video since it’s a raid weapon and harder for people to get especially solo players
if you asked like last week I would've said the season of the seraph LFR Fire and Forget. Reason being, LFRs are really good, enhanced field prep for even more ammo, Veist stinger, and stasis for easiest font of might proc. However, 3/4 of those things are changing rather drastically in LF so id throw it on the honorable mentions list
Love and death, easy to farm and is a rapid fire frame opposed to adaptive frame of wendigo
Little bit of info in case it’s needed. Depending on the size of your current weapons magazine. Perks like chill clip and focused fury can be active or become active for half the weapons native magazine size. Adding perks like overflow, clown cartridge and reconstruction will surpass the the magazine size. So if a sniper has a standard 4 in the magazine. Focused fury would only require 2 to activate. The activation is dictated by the size of the standard magazine, so if you have overflow and your mag jumps to 8. You’d still only need 2 to activate. Which would give you the rest of the magazine with a damage boost. Chill clip is active for the top half of a standard mag. Reconstruction doubles that. So if you’re mag has a standard 6. Reconstruction overflows to 12. You will have chill clip active for 9 shots.

Ok, I know this doesn’t fit into this video, but there is one weapon that will be glued to my kinetic slot for the entire campaign. Quicksilver Storm. I just like the idea of using the cloudstider’s tech to take back Neomuna. Beyond that, I think you nailed anything I can think of that isn’t just a personal preference even though there is better.
Speaking of Chill Clip, Fire and Forget can roll chill clip as well and is craftable. I'm thinking it might be a very good choice for champions, even with the lfr nerf.
definitely my go to for barrier champs, being able to freeze with 2 bursts before they bubble is godly.

I think the Typhon GL5 with chill clip / demo will be a nice weapon to have it can also roll explosive light / demo. It can be a good sub in for the the wendigo. It also can be easily farmed in the helm at the start chart by focusing omolon weapons.
The plunder sidearm is pretty good too. It's the only sidearm I'm willing to use that isn't Traveler's.
Personally the sidearm is my favorite weapon with voltshot.
Yea I like that weapon. It’s viable in both PvP and pve.
The only downside to it is how much it jumps up. The recoil is insane on it.

The witch queen rocket, Red Herring, is absolutely worth the craft. Same amount of damage as bump and can get basically the same perks. Chill clip is great if you're the only one using it but red herring is void which is wonderful for volatile builds. It can get field prep and has a choice between frenzy or golden tricorn in the last slot. Tons and tons of damage potential
true. unfortunately, it’s an adaptive frame and not an aggressive frame :( you won’t be hitting quite as hard, but it’s a great substitute if you have it

If you are trying to get that good chill clip fusion from the star chart, don’t disregard the Typhon grenade launcher from Omolon. It’s in the same weapons factory as that fusion so it also has a chance of dropping. It can roll explosive light or chill clip. So if you can’t do GMs and need an explosive light GL, there you go! Been using it with my stasis dps builds (especially with weakened clear this season) and it works really well!

In all honesty, I just looked at the Battle Rifle from Dares of Eternity, and couldn't stop thinking about how good it would be to run with Demolitionist and Incandescent. It's just a really good PvE combo to pair with any Solar build in Lightfal, especially with all the armor mod changes and the new Solar fragments and changes to existing Solar fragments.
That is one of my daily drivers when I'm running solar. I farmed hardcore just to get it, best use of time so far in craftable weapons besides my Taipan and Tarnished Mettle

Deliverance from Vow if the Disciple can also get chill clip, combined with Compulsive reloader can have chill clip back when it’s at the half way point in the magazine and with the Vow intrinsic perk, you can get health back when reloading
Another craftable fusion rifle from the vow raid “Deliverance” is also stasis and can be crafted with chill clip
With the buff to machine guns coming, I kinda wanna play with thunderlord a little

Fun fact, you can get Deepsight raid weapons from the first secret chest in Vow, and if you have a character that doesn't have any armour like my Titan, you always get a weapon to drop, I've been doing it for the past few weeks and gotten a few Deepsight raid weapons this way, it's slow but hey better than not running the raid at all and getting nothing

One of my current favorite weapons is Dark Decider. I think it’s really underrated personally. Unfortunately they are nerfing the Veist stinger trait but I believe it will still be good. It’s awesome for champions just proc voltshot and let veist stinger constantly reload your magazine. I’ve found the best roll to go for is try and get max reload (reload masterwork and flared magwell) paired with voltshot and Well Rounded. Well rounded gives plus 10 on one stack and plus 20 on 2 stacks to Range Handling and Stability which makes up for the lower base stats.
I have to add an honorary mention of my own. My PvE go-to primary since Witch Queen is my Submission from Vow. The Souldrinker origin is great for little health chunks and Submission, Forbearance was my loadout for months
The only one of these that I do not have is bump in the night and I just can't bring myself to slog through nightmare containment to get the energy for it.

Posterity should have been on this list, it can roll with voltshot, and frenzy/rampae, giving voltshot a deadly combo with a near constant 100 reload stat with 15% damage increase, or a straight 30% damage increase easily procc's via killing things with voltshot. Side bonus, also works with lucky pants.
Ikelos smg exists and is just better. 180 rpm hand cannons are trash in pve

I promise posterity with voltshot frenzy is way better than you would expect
Shoutout to having Reconstruction/Chill Clip on the Aurvandil on my 3rd drop of it. Definitely gonna hang on to that, as well as finish up my patterns for the IKELOS SMG, and maybe work on getting the remaining patterns for EP.

It's not going away, but I think BXR with demo+incandescent is a goated gun for PvE. I like my BXR much better than my calus mini tool. Similar to the ikelos vs mettle argument, being able to apply incandescent at range with the BXR is very nice
How’s the damage? I feel very underwhelmed with Pulse damage in PvE in the rapid and heavy archetypes.

Burden of Guilt (Trials fusion rifle) can also roll with both Chill Clip and Elemental Capacitor, so if run on solar, could keep the perk up with a faster reload. Check them vaults.
I Have that roll, and it’s adept too, so I can put on the big ones spec.
I crafted ad junkie on my POM. it helps when you're in a big gun fight with multiple enemy guardians, and getting a grenade kill will make the gun shred through people
Explosive Personality also has Disruption Break, which works in PvP. I use it a lot as a primer, especially now that Dead Messenger got nerfed.
Qullims Terminus might also be worth grabbing for the same reason as Retrofit Escapade. Yeah it really lacks target lock, but can roll with firing line and ensemble, which pair perfectly with its origin trait that overflows the mag if reloaded near teammates. Plus its stasis, so you can activate font of might pretty easily.
It's from a raid, it isn't being removed from the game so you can get it whenever. The point of this video is to show people which weapons might be unobtainable or hard to get in 20 days when all this years content is being removed from the game.

Worth pointing out that Font of Might is going to be going away with the rework to mods. We don't know exactly how it's being "replaced" but it seems like it'll require more mod slots for a weaker effect from what we've been told.
@@Luteloots an exclusive interview i think with pc gamer revealed that there will be leg armor equivalent mods to Font of Might that works for any elemental type, not just matching your subclass. Base +10% damage buff, can stack w/ 3 mods (artifice armor) to reach +22%, which is close to what it is currently. Can also mix and match to have 2 for boosting solar damage and one for kinetic for example. However, we do not know if it still stacks with other buffs like WoR/Radiant/HEF
I think people sleep on Fixed Odds and Commemoration. Field prep and incandescent on fixed odds is a monster for ad clear, especially on any class that can take advantage of scorching targets on mass. Commemoration can get up to 150 rounds in one mag with enhanced reconstruction and enhanced killing tally. Enhanced killing tally gives a small bump in mag size and along with it being void and volatile rounds, it shreds everything. I've used both in master raids and they are both excellent.

Comment on Ikelos SMG: Viotshot is great but it should be noted that Enhanced Surrounded is a huge 48% damage buff soooo that might be a play too

Fire and forget is another chill clip contender. And it's got veist stinger. If you can mitigate the kick on it. You've got a hard hitting freeze ray.

Crafted Syncopation with Headstone could be helpful for clearing adds and applying the area damage to champions. Also been using a lot a Blood Feud lately with the Titan Diamond Lance aspect, so good!
Piece of mind is insane. It can turn a mid PvP player into something a touch better. Moving target and perpetual motion enhanced is giving you all the cards to make your bullets land. Ricochet rounds and arrowhead break are my barrel and mag. Combined with the targeting adjuster mod you now have a weapon with what I believe to be the highest aim assist stat in the game.
For heritage, you may want to comment on the new perk that boosts hip fire, accuracy, and range after one kill. Zkmushroom showcased that the other day and it is a beast in PvP
I like grave robber with my mini tool, but that is because I mainly use it with my hunter's throwing knife build rocking Caliban's Hand.
Deliverance, palmyra B, fire and forget i think will be really good for unstops as one burst with chill clip would freeze also has headstone in the other column

demolitionist explosive payload zaouli's bane combined with strand hunter for infinite grapples, can combine with a first slot wave frame or witherhoard for goated ad clear

I love reconstruction on the gunsmith fusion...it's my go to. Wish I had the god combo but sadly no chill clip.
aurvandil farming can be achieved by umbral engrams and the star chart in the helm. It can roll with reconstruction chill clip, giving it around 9 chill chip shots per [reconstructed] mag
Deliverance also can have Chill Clip, and it can also have Demolitionist in column 3, perfect for a stasis turret build, and stunning champs with the gun AND the turrets.
one additional thing about chill clip though it doesn't technically stun barriers if you time it right you can freeze them before they pop their shield effectively allowing it to deal with all 3 champs, though it really needs to be on something that can fire fast so bump in the night probably won't work well. Riptide however is going to be cracked with chill clip. I don't have the god roll with autoloading but with lead from gold in a lot of situations it nice to have that additional way to get ammo, put on double special and use this thing like a primary :)
Path of least resistance. Voltshot and stats for all/one for all. It seems to do better than the other voltshots I have.
Beloved and Ikelos Sniper for sure. Great in pvp and i always find them handy in pvp gms. They both have great rolls for both pve and pvp and they are craftable
Tarnished mettle has so many good perks on it for PvE and PvP lol, love the gun. Easily my favorite Plunder weapon

Hung jury adept smashes in pvp and pve too. It can outperform most kinetic exotics in damage, and is really reliable it does what you expect it to do when using it
For the pvp Ikelos I really think enhanced Tap Trigger is better than rangefinder. The extra sticky feels more valuable than the extra zoom.
Was running nightmare containment and got a reconstruction, chill clip aurvandil. First time in d2 I screamed for excitement as much as i did that I got a God roll at the end of an activity. World first here I come!! Hahaha cheers.
the craftable trace rifle! it has the highest dmg volt shot and its inherent perk makes it reload faster at top half of mag AND if you volt shot a big target it does enough damage to stun it from repeated jolt explosion procs
Finally some praise for the Heritage on youtube! Can't believe how much this weapon was overlooked for so long. Even before it was craftable it was disgusting in PvP (PvE also, but that was clear), but overshadowed by Chaperone (until nerf). Same goes for Succession. Another great option to farm. It is harder now with a heavy sniper in PvP, but that scope and that sound... :)
All 3 trace rifles from the helm are a must have. incandesant, repulser, voltshot. amazing for a trace build. or double trace with agers on burns. Under you skin is a must have bow. judgement a must have glaive build.

I got the aurvandil with reconstruction and chill clip at the start of this season. If I run double fusion reserves it holds 16 in the mag and you get chill clip until the bottom 3. Most underrated gun in the game imo.
I've basically thrown every one of those I've gotten in the vault for later, but every time I use it, I just can't get used to the "press the button now, fire tomorrow" aspect of it :)
Got lucky and got the Aurvandil with Recon and Chill Clip and it's alot of fun. Wish the ammo reserves were bigger but that would probably be totally broken.
Succession with reconstruction + firing line. Could be good for sniper + anarchy combo if anarchy becomes a beast
The only Fusion I felt I needed when I heard the Chill Clip Functionality coming in Lightfall was Deliverance as it has both Demo and Chill Clip and it had already proven itself as one of the best PVE Fusions in my Arsenal.
I just did a bunch of my crafting last week. I got pretty much everything up and going, though the Riptide and Aurvandil godrolls still elude me... Luckily, the Deliverance can run the stuff I need and I don't have to worry about RNG now that I have two of it crafted.
