The three most difficult types of vehicles to review are European luxury cars, large family vehicles, and performance cars, and the 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 happens to be all three. On that note, I had to split this video into two parts; the first part here is a tour, while the second is the driving portion, where I happen to run this thing completely out of gas. I have GLE 450 and a friend of mine just got the GLS 400d. Beside being bigger and way more expensive i can't say that there are any major advantages of getting the GLS. It's size is an advantage on of-road of that is your thing, in the city being that big, it is harder to get a parking space and fitting in narrow EU side streets. For those who want to save 30k, you can just go for the GLE and you will be more than happy.
OMG ……A brush/touch/scratch my car-wash used on this beauty. Lord, have mercy! Off to my paint correction shop to remove the swirls and those carwash blues blemishes. Informative, but stay away from non touchless car washes. L. Hall P.S. owner of 3 MB’s that have never seen a giant car wash brush.
Impressive luxury vehicle. Very nice infotainment system. Perfect family car. It's a gorgeous one.
The soft-close doors are for when you don't like (or unable to) more firmly close the door.

Get those specs straight! MB claims 0-60 in 4.1 seconds, but C&D tested it at 3.6 seconds to 60mph!
Mercedes usually understates their 0-60 values. Their website says 4.1 he's not wrong. That's what they published but indeed other people get lower times. I think Mercedes does that on purpose so that people don't accuse them of false claims. It's better you car is faster than you claim than slower!

Very good video overview of the GLS 63 Chris. Overall do you enjoy driving it and you feel that it has enough amenities and cargo space for your driving requirements?
I personally like all the features his car offers. I want one myself.

Does the off road package come with track package?
How roomy is the driver area, will it accommodate a 6'3" 300 lbs guy?
I am 6’10” 245 lbs and have TONS of headroom, legroom... there is plenty of room for you.👍🏼
The car is an encyclopedia and its price is very high. I have to take it to bed with me for fear of being stolen🤣
Chris what's the difference between the AMG GLS and GLS to me it's the front grill is the difference but if anyone know something he or her can explain

In Russia it cost around 220K $
Nothing major, but Gls is actually a bit bigger than the X7.
The GLS is slightly longer but the X7 has a fair bit more max cargo room (90.4 vs. 84.7) which I valued more here, given that in this segment, most people would equate 'bigger' with better.
