Throttle House stands out to me because they're not just reviewing cars, but they teach you about a car, its components, its culture, history. Feel like I'm in a science class instead of a dealership
Science is very far fetched. But they are enternaining
If you haven't watched savagegeese, i think you'd enjoy that car review channel.
That is the same reason old top gear was so special. It was the culture, not just the cars.
Them & savagegeese are great at this. SG manages to be educational and irreverent at the same time.
Yeah. No reading from a brochure. Car reviews are becoming so stagnant and no one really stands out as much as Throttle House. Savage geese is great but a touch too dry for me. I cannot stand the straight pipes because they are negative more times then not and they force their humor (humour for you Canadians).
Throttle house is like the old Top Gear for me now.

As someone who actually works at the BMW Plant, I can tell you personally putting those grills on is actually kind of satisfying. Knowing these cars from the moment they are being made is special. And trust me the Alpinas always get more attention than any other model. Because of course.

Totally with Thomas in that the Alpina treatment actually suits the X7 really well. Honestly, I wish they’d offer the 5/X5 with the Alpina treatment in the US, as well. It’d be so much better suited to the way 99.9999% of these are actually driven on a daily basis.

i used to feel quite sad about the fact that my favorite automotive shows are ending but now after seeing such amazing content from youtube channels such as throttle house, the straight pipes, Autotrader, carewow, donut media, carfection, gears and gasoline,etc. I feel a bit relieved.(people recommending car channels in their replies, i know there are more car channels but I can't mention them all thats why I wrote etc, i thought you might recognize it but my fault for assumimg that)
We should be thankful for the programs likes Top Gear and Fifth Gear though. Without them, the quality channels like this and many others would not be where they are now.

Holy F that is some major creaking in the GLS dash. It might actually be well made and durable, but such simple observations really do add up to a perception of cheapness, something no one would ever want to see in a premium brand, let alone a top end model...

Alpina somehow made the front of X7 look good, I love the poise and stance and posture of that XB7.

I don’t really like the alpina trim i prefer M sport but it works on the more luxurious models.

I love that Alpina, my friend has the GLS63 and it is a wonderful car, but there is something about an Alpina which I love.
MY father also used to have an Alpina, back when I was little. It was a 1990 E32 Alpina B12 5.0. I still miss that car.

I'm not particularly fond of performance SUV-s, but damn these two cars look like so much fun. I literally think I'd pick them over Urus or that 700 hp Cayenne.
The fact that both of these perform almost as good as both of those but still have 7 seats is good enough to make them better overall 😅
