They should make a three drawer on wheels that would be a most sellable 2.0 ever
Hope you and your family will be safe during this storm!!!
$129?!?!? are they crazy?
Yes all the tool storage companies have jacked up prices the past year
Well right now they are 100 lol
I got the large tool box and rolling box and the top slim tool box all for 170$ today and I thought that was expensive
People buy the packout why wouldn’t they buy this?
these are $99 at HD right now, just picked up two of them yesterday
Went with husky and they are amazing, I'm not paying dewalt prices for a box..
The ladies are going to go crazy! 😂😂😂😂😂
Thanks Jeff that great with drawers, thanks for your information 👍 and video 👍 I appreciate you 🔧 👍
Glad to help!
The charger/storage box is my favorite update to the tough system
respectfully asking but what makes it so good? i feel like i rather carry my yellow charger and just keep batteries with my tools. i was temped to buy one cuz im an addict but genuinely couldnt see the value
Cool easier access for most used tools
Wow in store nice hopefully they stock in NJ! My toughsystem takes a beating and holds up pretty good, did notice a small hole in side of my 2.0 rolling box but someone just speared a 16ft 2x10 directly at it so expected smh, some 1.0 I exchanged at depot for lifetime warranty never went through DeWalt returns then exchanged/ upgraded to 2.0.
He lid should be able to you can click your batterys
I saw a video the other day that showed water leaking in through the top of one of the Dewalt 2.0 units.
For the price, I’ve heard Ridgid makes a good pack out set.
Would love to see that video
Not sure about the 2.0 but the original DeWalt box leaked like a sieve that's why I moved to the rigid years years ago..
@@doublej9104 I have to watch it again, but I’m pretty sure it’s the 2.0 in the video.
Looking at the lid of the main piece in this video, it looks the same as the one in the video leaking.
@@jeffostroff I could try to post a link.
@@doublej9104 As much as I like Milwaukee stuff, if I ever decide to buy a pack out system, I’ll probably get Ridgid too. It’s just more practically priced for the average person.
Wish you could sill find the 3 drawer ones.... my 3 drawer has red handels and seals and is branded Mac
I think they also branded as Facom but i can’t find them either
$240 here in nz
I know the middle yellow tab on top folds up to lock in smaller items, but what it with the useless hand scoop that it rests inside of? It’s a loose piece of plastic that feels like it should be a fold up handle, but it’s nothing.
I still don't know on mine, it's like a finger handle
@@jeffostroffit's to put up when inserting half size boxes like their battery charging unit and for example their new half-size backpack. But to be fair. I thought Replacing that for a top handle should have been much nicer.
I'm into Dewalt Cordless Tools mainly because of the batteries and the batteries that will be coming out with but I do have to say after having about $1,500 into their toolboxes, the tool boxes are absolute junk and a waste of money. This drawer 2.0 system that he is showing, one of the handles broke off on me and then the internal Works broke off a little later. Luckily I can still open the drawer because I use this drawer for my batteries since it's not big enough for much of anything. I'm just waiting for the right toolbox that hit the market for me to put my money into. And yes DeWalt claims they have a warranty but you talk about a hell of a run around and too much time for me to waste and trying to get their junk warrantied. Absolutely love the wall tools but their tool boxes are just a massive disappointment whether it be the original series or the new 2.0 series and no I haven't bought that Dolly with all the plastic winged connections. Way too much money for what it's worth.
I have been using the tough system 2.0 boxes and have had no problems with them and if you saw my video where I reviewed them 2 years ago when they came out, I did drop testing from 9' up and they survived to that. By the way their boxes are made by keter in israel who also makes the boxes for rigid, Milwaukee, and Craftsman
I have one bottom 2.0 wheeled toolbox. It has developeded a hole on the bottom of the box and it never has been dropped and then the current review of the double drawer 2.0 system, The handle broke off on me just opening it. I have say for the cost I would expect at least for the boxes not to crack or develop a hole. On top of all that, it's like DeWalt never tried putting any of their Tools in these boxes . Only 2 of my framing tools fit in these boxes. I would need to have one box per two tools which is just not cost-effective. Now granted you may have dropped tested the toolboxes but most of us contractors keep our toolboxes in the back of our truck which exposes them to Sun and plastic changes over time after being exposed to Sun. My suggestion to you is keep those boxes in the Sun for about 3 months and then try to drop Testament see what happens. Granted they are two years old technology. But I don't see DeWalt coming out with any new lines of boxes. There is a new company on the scene called Flex that has a new kind of toolbox that's a lot like Milwaukee but in my opinion five times better.
Was anyone able to open my link?
Shouldnt we be hearing jeff preparing for the hurricane???
$119.00 for the ridgid 3 drawer, and made much stronger. That's cheep looking.
The rolling cart should be wider and longer there are biger mashines which didn't get in these small boxes .
Do they lock?
yes
Those are not one handed opperation. I think other brands have better latching designs.
This is some rubbermaid crap for men. Id never
It clicks on-top..it also clicks on-top.....also they will click ontop
The walk should go back to metal boxes they're more friendly you know environmentally friendly metal boxes 100% recyclable not like that plastic garbage
The plastic is actually pretty good, we did drop tests
$129???? For a $39 item. Wtf?!
believe me these tool boxes are not cheap.
