Star Block Tutorial for a Project Linus Quilt and The FIRST LOOK at your Christmas Box 2023

I am so proud of all the work that Anna, Rita and I have done throughout the year to bring you this Box Full of Treats!
Over the next three evenings (7pm GMT) I will be showing you everything you can expect in The Last Homely House Christmas Boxes - so put on your notifications!
This video is all about the fabric I have found for your Box. There is a Fat Quarter Bundle of quilting weight Liberty Fabric in lovely seasonal colours. I made several things with my fabric, including this Wonky Star Quilt for Project Linus.
Next, I had my friends at Aurifil make a bespoke box of threads in toning colours. Rita designed the box to hold the Pink and Teal 12 weight threads which are so perfect for hand quilting or embroidery. (See if you can spot Eileen the Goose on the box!)
Tomorrow I will take you on a road trip to see the next item I made for your Box.
If you don't want to miss out, set an alarm for 7pm Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) when the Boxes go on sale. Check what time that is in your part of the world. And remember, there is FREE SHIPPING WORLDWIDE!

Such a small cute quilt . Love it
just made wonky stars not long ago paired wonkey stars, log cabins and animal panels (4 each) together in a 3 by 4 grid as a present for a colleague who is expecting a baby. The quilt is big enough to probably still be used by the child when it's 6 or 7.
So yes, it's an adorable and easy pattern.

Lovey quilt for Project Linus. I like to keep a second, simple construction scrap block on hand to piece between chain piecing other projects. I do this instead of using a thread bunny. I may only do one seam of the scrap project but eventually i have another whole block done. They are set aside until I have enough to use in a quilt of their own. There are going to be some very happy recipients of potholders and maybe a pincushion or two when they get their Christmas boxes!
The next project Linus quilt in production is a ‘leaders and enders’ quilt! A bonus! Xxx

We make these quilts here in the United States, and I enjoy this way you have demonstrated. Fast,fun and you can make it scrappy, or with novelty print in the center.
The fabrics are amazing, I love the little quilt. My stars most likely wouldn't line up that nicely. 😄
