    Just perfect! The automatic transcription from CZcams is not too bad, but your video definitely deserve the right subtitles for non-English speakers.
    Don't hesitate to ask if you need help. It would be a good exercise for me.

    Excellent, simple to understand. Nice graphics show what you are explaining. TOP TIPS are good and useful. The teacher has obviously navigated around the world for real. Counting the minutes between degrees it's a real hands on tip. Lovely to see Sri Lanka on the slides- I need to visit again! Many thanks for good and clear information.

    Thank you for this. I believe I have seen examples which use seconds. How do they relate to the decimal increments?

    • @CoastalSafety
      @CoastalSafety  Před 3 lety +3

      Good question. Many moons ago we used to use seconds to subdivide minutes the same as we do for time. However now that will use computers in our daily life, it's found to be more convenient to use decimals of a minute rather than seconds. Purely because decimals are as per the name suggests, units of 10 rather than units of 60. Units of 60 tend to confuse a computer and make the calculation more complicated and time consuming.

      I found it hard to grasp the 3d spheroid concept at college (blackboards and chalk) - now I understand and make these videos - sharing is caring !
