Nice editing brada, keep it up 👍🏼
Entertaining and helpful. Great combination!
Hey, amazing video! Doing a similar build rn and helps me a lot. Kudos!
The most entertaining PC tech channel!
Keep it going, George.
Thank you, Nikola! I do my best.

Very nice and useful video
Good video BTW.
If you plan on encoding a stream with gpu (6800xt) for obs/twitch would you still recommend a ryzen 7 or 9 for the best stream quality?
Yeah I’d say so. OBS uses CPU no matter what encoding container you choose. Plus you have cpu image processing if graphic or camera overlay is applied. It’s just combining everything is what encoding does. Sending data to twitch is also a CPU task.
hi,so i should upgrade my motherboard and processor? currently i am using ryzen 7 3700 + b550 aorus master with 6800 SE
so is the ryzen 7 5800x not good for just general gaming? paired with the 6800xt.
I've just discovered you today George, You dropped knowledge on me.
I feel vindicated.
You are Legendary just like Steve of Gamers Nexus which is up next in the list.
So ... Yeah baby! ... Zeek havin a sweet day to spite death being parked outside.
would the 3700x bottleneck?
I've been searching my ass off for something like this. Much appreciated! Also like your style dude.
Yeah, this guy is just epic
Hey , do you think my AB350 gaming 3 motherboard is enough for 5600x and 6800xt or should I buy a newer one?
Thanks for your answer
6800 should work with any configuration. I’ve checked your board’s support page. It doesn’t yet support 5600x. So I would look into getting b550 or a520.
Georgetech Thank you!!
Iam running rx 6800 and i5 9400f with 1440p 144hz , lot of bottle neck speciallywoth forza horizon5 and fortnite . So this videos is just amazing , thank u
Same
I have a b450 tomahawk max, do you think it is a good match with a ryzen 5 5600x / 7 5800x is a rx 6800xt (which I managed to buy 😆) leaving out the pci 4.0? do you think it has a good heatsink?
You talking about 6800 heatsink? Reports coming out that it’s better than whatever AMD used before. SAM needs pcie Gen 4 if you want that extra 10 percent performance 5 percent of the time 😊 you good for now with tomahawk. The only problem is the cpu support. You not gonna get bios agesa update till February. So if you want 5000 cpu get b550 or x570. 5600 will go for the next few years if you just gaming. If streaming interested you or planning to keep the system for over 3 years get 5800. Congrats on the purchase though! Good job! I couldn’t get it personally so I’m jealous lol
Ok I'll sub
I currently have a b450 board and a 650w psu would this be able to handle an r7 5800x and an rx 6800? (And is that a good cpu+gpu combo?)
You all set
500 watt psu is good for 6800xt?
can I use a b450 asus
My English is terrible. You are awesome. Grüßli from Germany
thank you
I was watching a recent video about bottlenecking Cyberpunk2077 with an intel 12900 with 24 threads and a 4090. ONE CORE was almost maxed and a couple more cores were very lightly loaded and very sporadic use of a couple more threads, probably windows house keeping. 6 core and 12 threads is all you are really going to need for a very very long time as long as you have one core boosted. You don't need to boost all threads for the background tasks.
Thanks, now i know to wait for best cheap procesor for gaming something like 5300x and 6600 XT... my Ryzen 2600 is crap (+ RX 580) :)
Hello! Can you tell me (in your opinion) which motherboard is best to build with Ryzen 9 5900X and AMD RX 6800 XT?
I was thinking about the ASRock X570 Steel Legend, but now I am not sure.
Also, I'm thinking of 32GB of RAM (3600MHz), 1TB SSD (Samsung 980 Evo Plus or WD Black SN750 W / Heatsink) + HDD, NZXT Kraken X53, Corsair RM850x 850W Gold and NZXT H510 Elite.
How do you like this build? Would you change anything?
Thanks in advance!
Steel Legend and ASUS TUF gaming are great. RAM is selection is good. Both SSDs you selected are Gen3 PCI-e. If you could try to find a deal on Gen4 NVMe. Like Samsung 980 Pro or amzn.to/3p82htZ and amzn.to/34Yo9Q7. NZXT is probably the best AIO on the market so good choice. 6800XT is hungry. 850W PSU is not gonna be efficient in some instances. It's gonna work but 1000W would be more "safe". amzn.to/34ZTKkA or Corsair 1000W if you can find a deal. Corsair has a bit easier to deal with RMA system in case something happens. Again, good 850W should be ok as well.
@@GeorgeTech Thank you very much for the answer and explanation! Support for your channel!
@@GeorgeTech I want build my first PC dekstop. This is what I want:
Processor : Ryzen 5900X
Motherboard : Asus TUF X570
RAM : Corsair ddr4 Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB
Case : Thermaltake View 51
VGA : Radeon 6900XT
PSU : Evga Supernova 850w
Cooler : NZXT Kraken X73
SSD : Corsair MP 600 gen4 1TB
Harddisk : WDC 2TB Sata3
What do you think?
@@princeofeurope3313 Make sure you get 3600MHz C18 memory, not 3200. Might as well go for 4TB SSD since the price difference is so small. 6800XT should be a better price to performace. If you set on 6900XT I would normally suggest waiting for independent tests but this thing gonna sell out in 80 seconds (I wish I was kidding). If you can find a good deal on 1000W PSU go for it. 850W can handle the load but not as efficient as 1000W (efficiency curve). Spending extra on PSU can save you on the electricity bill. If you keeping the system for a few years it would make sense to go with Platinum 80+. But! 1000W is double the price of 850W on Amazon.com so I would go with 850W. Also, if you only playing games 850W is plenty (400W on the load). With the same logic if you only play games you don't need 5900X.
@@GeorgeTech thanks now I understand. How about Ryzen 5 5600X + MSI X570 Tomahawk Wifi + MSI RTX 3080 Ventus 3X OC combo?
So, this is the new build
GPU : MSI RTX 3080 Ventus 3X OC
CPU : Ryzen 5 5600X
Mobo : MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk Wifi
RAM : Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB Pro 32GB 3600MHZ
Storage : Corsair 2TB Force Series MP400 M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen3 (I think nvme gen 3 and nvme gen 4 have simillar speed) + WD Blue 1TB Sata SSD
Case : Lian Li PC-O11DW Dynamic White
PSU : EVGA SuperNova 1000 G+, 80+ Gold 1000W Fully Modullar
CPU Cooler : NZXT Kraken X73
Fans : Lian Li Bora Digital 6pcs
Please help me man. I have 5000 euro budget.
what happens if i use a 6800xt with an i5 11kf
I’ve gotten Aorus x570 Ultra + AMD Ryzen 9 3900x + AMD Radeon 6800XT... do you think I should get a different CPU? Or different motherboard? HELP! :)
Motherboard is fine as long as you not pushing overlock. IPC improvement on 5000 series of CPUs is good enough to justify an upgrade but the prices are all over the place so I would stick to what you have.
does z390 support 6800xt?
Whats is that software you used in this video showing all your devices temps?????
HWinfo
Thank you for the video nice work.
So ryzen 5 3600 with air cooler(not stock)
Asus prime x570-p mobo
16 gb ram(32 gb soon)
Rx6800xt
2x Samsung 1 tb ssd.
And 850w-1000w PSU
Will do good? In your opinion.
Yeah, definitely. Even 6800 non xt should be good. 850W should be even more efficient than 1000W and way cheaper last time I’ve checked. Your total power should never exceed 600W with this setup. I’d guess around 400W while gaming. If still shopping for SSD try to go with Gen4.
@@GeorgeTech thank you.
no one asked me :) , but a 3500X would be much cheaper with a mi-ni-mal lost of fps
Hi can it run an asus tuf b450 plus rx 6700 and r5 3600
You made a mistake there with the infinity Cache. That is active no matter what, just the "smart access Memory" is only available if combining all the AMD parts.
The video was very cool nonetheless. Subbed and rang the Bell :D
Will the asus rog strix B550F motherboard be compatible with the Radeon 6800XT
Yes
I have ryzdn 7 7800x3d ram 6000 ddr 5 with rx6800xt phantom gaming running 250 fps on warzone 😮
r5 7600x + rx 6800xt it's good ?
What’re your thoughts on:
Ryzen 5 5600x + AMD 6800XT ?
Versus

@@964chrispham Warzone needs 6 cores so you're good with 5600X. If you planning to stream at the same time you need another thread available for OBS and an extra thread if the system decides to cache something or check for updates. ryzen 5800x would be a better option. You don't really need 12 cores today. It could change in a couple of years though with PS5 optimized games coming out.
DDR 4 3600 CL18 most of the times cheaper than CL16 and there's no difference in performance in games. Something like amzn.to/35JGnpf or amzn.to/35JGnpf.
Storage you looking at is Gen 3. RYZEN supports Gen 4 which is probably the reason to go with AMD. Otherwise, I would suggest comparing prices to the Intel system if you don't have brand loyalty. Gen 4 SSDs are crazy fast and it could help with loading screens in future games. amzn.to/2Uybq0C or amzn.to/38Rnfat.
750W is fine for 5600X. 5900X needs 850W to work efficiently. amzn.to/3kDadzH or amzn.to/2UE4NtP if you ok with white. Hard to find a good deal on PSU.
@@GeorgeTech Another question for Mobo, with this build: pcpartpicker.com/list/m9MFPV would you advise accordingly?
X570 AORUS Elite Wi-Fi / Asus AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus > (better than) B550 AORUS Elite V2 > MSI B550-A PRO ... Which mobo would you go for ?
@@964chrispham Either Elite or TUF. Wifi/Bluetooth is useful for controllers and such. X570 uses a Gen4 chipset link, while B550 uses Gen3. It could matter in the future when you start adding more storage etc.
I built a CPU: 9 5900X, GPU: RX 6800XT, MB: MSI X570 ACE.
The most entertaining tech channel which seems like watching movies with popcorn.
Best compliment! Thank you.
@@GeorgeTech No, Thank U!!
Keep up Man.
Can asrock b450m steel legend support it?
It will work but without all the benefits I talked about
Would you say a Ryzen 5 3600 I’d a bottleneck for the 6800xt at 1080p
Yeah it could. Depends on your target refresh rate and game engine
Will 6000 series work w a ryzen 7 3800x?
Of course! U good
@@GeorgeTech MUCH THANKS HOMMIE 🙏🏻 >_
Does the gigabyte b550 aosus pro cut it or nah ? Plz help
You should be fine with b550
@@GeorgeTech thanks bro that's so helpful one more thing if I get the amd ryzen 5 3600 and gigabyte b550 plus the amd radeon rx 6800xt then what power supply should I go for please answer me this I'd appreciate it a lot
@@thenameisoussama2977 I gotchu man. Your total power on a heavy workload should be 500 - 550 Watts. AC-DC loss is 15%. PSUs are most efficient at around 70% pull. 1000 W PSU would be perfect. However, 850W would handle the load just fine, and they're cheaper. 850W amzn.to/3mQ0pE9 1000W amzn.to/35SIyp8 Personally, I would go with 850W. Not crazy efficient, but so much cheaper. If you plan to upgrade to RYZEN 9 in the future go with 1000W unit. You can google the efficiency curve for PSU you looking at if you're interested.
@@GeorgeTech thanks man that was really helpful and I love how humble you are wish you well in life thanks again
👍👍👍
Hi, I just watched your recent videos because I wanted to grab a new pc. I was thinking of the following parts. Do you think I could get some feedback from it?
Ryzen 5 5600x
AMD Radeon 6800 or 6800xt (Havent decided yet)
Vengeance DDR4 3200mhz RAM
ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Pro
800W PSU
240mm water cooling
2TB HDD + 512 SSD
Thanks!! I love your vids too. I think they are pretty funny.
Thanks bud. 3600 memory is preferable. NVMe SSD Gen4 is the best option if you ever edit videos or plan to keep the system for a long time. Gen3 SSDs are great too just a bit slower and could bottleneck in the future. PS5 SSD is very fast and games are developed for consoles first most of the time.
@@GeorgeTech thanks a lot!
@@GeorgeTech how does the 970 samsung evo look?
@@ThaChikenMan Unfortunately, it's Gen 3. 980 Pro amzn.to/3f8yQ69 or amzn.to/35Fa1eZ or the one with the heatsink amzn.to/3f8bzRW. the controller on Gen 4 SSDs gets hot so I would suggest getting one with a heatsink. Worst case, the transfer speeds suffer. Nothing gets damaged though.
@@GeorgeTech can you recommend some good ones around 512gb for my build? Thank you so much for your help!!
would ryzen 7 3700x work?

bla bla youtube algorithm bla
I don't even know what these "algorithms" are.
@@GeorgeTech me neither, but if I had to guess I would say that the algorithm is a composition of rules to determine, to whom and how many people your content is suggested. Based on factors like views and amount of comments.
@@trasher2848 In any case, thanks for sticking around.
So is an Intel i9 10900 not compatible with the Radeon 6800xt??
This is what I’m trying to figure out
AMD graphic card with AMD prozessor is the best option but other combinations still work - but other than upgrading existing stuff you should chose the best option
It is compatible, but it's better to get ryzen for a AMD gpu
