      JoeyPlays i saw 7 of them but they are not Common. I see them a lot on the silver meteor. I saw a Erie lawanka too with a ALP45DP paired with multilevel cars

    Is it unusual to see a NJT double header trainset? Was the heritage unit just for show or something?

    I thought Acela trains weren’t allowed to stop at Trenton. What’s going on?

    Am I seeing some of the septa trains departing heading to Hamilton?

    • @s.s.99
      @s.s.99 Před 5 měsíci +1

      Nah. If a SEPTA train enters on track 1, they go to the crossovers ahead and use it to access track 5 on the Southbound/Westbound side (allocated for SEPTA trains).
      I think the only reason it came in on track 1 is to avoid conflict with the Acela.
      Edit: clarity

    • @s.s.99
      @s.s.99 Před 5 měsíci

      Correction: SEPTA trains coming in on Track 1 may be due to the number of SEPTA trains that are in the station.
      They are provided 1 loading bay, so they are probably trying to stay in proper departure order.
      An added benefit is helping passengers who are making the switch from SEPTA to NJT, as they save time not using the overpass.

    First train was not smart on the part of Non Judicial Transit. Better performance can be had with one loco at each end.

    • @FanRailer

      .... the railcar manufacturer specifically stated that these cars were not meant to be hauled with a motor on each end back when they were doing the 12 car bookended multilevel trains... which is why they stopped running them.
