The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Kingdom of God on the earth. It will continue to roll forward to fill the whole earth as prophesied in Daniel. No unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing!

The rolling forward of the kingdom seems to be moving at a snails pace...I mean what is the percentage of Mormons right now...1%??
Most churches act like (and say) Jesus is coming any minute now...
Growing up Mormon, they assured us that he would come within our lifetime....??

That being said, I think that ALL churches should have to show ALL their financials, just like every other non-profit organization does...Especially if they are receiving the awesome tax exemption (and they most certainly do!)
I mean, why do they deserve special treatment over other non-profit organizations?? Have the churches proven that they are immune to financial scandals or misappropriation of funds??

@RichardHolmes-ll8ii because Nelson is on an announcing Spree to have the all time record for most temples built to beat out Hinkley. You realize how many temples are understaffed? Most struggle to keep enough members in there the keep them running because Nelson stopped following the criteria for how one gets built and jury started naming them willy nilly. Most won't see the light of day for over a decade, and by then, it will be too late. Not to mention, temples are built often by member owned companies with ties to general authorities, and much of that work is done at sometimes 3-4× the cost of standard prices, funneling that sweet tithing money into their pockets.

It's not a theory, it's what's happening.
