I respect how a young family man buys tired heavy equipment, repairs and maintains it to build his business. Thanks for the glimpse into your family. Stay healthy. 😊
Great video, and so happy that you rescued this older machine to further your growing business. Your daughter is precious. They way she came up to you with so much love and hugged your leg, and how she smiled when you said Thank you to her.🙂
That things sweet. It needs a big black Dumpster Dave sticker!
Thanks for making the stickers,
I like watching you work Dave as much as Andrew and it's an awesome vid when you guys do stuff together! Your both amazing people!✌💜
Thanks
Excellent video. You are a talented young man and will go far in life with God's blessings...
I like it when CZcamsrs use extremely long extensions and screwdrivers so they can get the camera in very close to the work. Dave, all you need now is some of those really long pliers. Makes me feel like i helped with the job. You're welcome.
Nice work DD! I enjoy seeing old, tired equipment brought back to life!
When u was fishing that wire up thru the console, we saw a picture of u, ur wife and ur child, the dumpster dave clan(family), we see the reason ur expanding ur empire !! Congrats !!
*yore
Enjoy your video Dave on the old Kubota EXC, .
A good video, dave, a white light plus two red light on the back would look nice plus useful.
Nice job nice little machine. Seems to work real well for you. Thanks for sharing!!!🎉
Great stuff as always Dave! Keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
Thank you for sharing 👍👍👍👍
Thanks for the videos. Keep on trucking.
Seems to you got a pretty good used machine and you went all over it
and fixed what you had to change how you like the controllers for the levers.
Great video and thanks.
Tusen takk for videoen. 👍🤗👍🇸🇯
Good job 👍 I like that little dump trailer too be good for firewood
Thanks
Nice little machine.❤
Great idea spraying over dirt and grease
I think he cleaned it off camera.
Thats a good wee machine i prefer the older stuff u dont get much hassle with them im in a komatsu 360 straight boom and get codes all the time
Grab a paint sample of Kubota orange or excavator black and colour match it at the hardware store.Whether from the machine itself or an old paint can, they will get a perfect match, and way cheaper than kubota original paint.AND its a perfect match.Kubota scalped me once, and that ended that.
Awesome video as always! The lack of deburring when wiring those lights is stressing me out tho! Lol
What a cute little girl. Savior the time with her you blink and she will be all grown up 😢
Andrew's got one of them nice shiny heat guns for the shrink wrap. DD just whips out the ole bic lighter lol
Inline fuse would be great on those lights :)
There’s a fuse on the power side
Bloody hell i missed Dave getting an excavator lol time to go look back
That machine is not to bad atoll it gets the job done that's what counts.
I would’ve put 2 lights on Top of the cage and 1 on each side of the stick, you can never have too much light 💡 at night 😉
Looking good on the kabota , nice job.
Thanks 👍
The surprising truth about wood chippers... Maybe Dumpster Dave can make a nice one, but big!
👍🏻
got to get one of those Milwaukee battery 3/8 ratchets
Yes
Mostly, changing hoses to get right joystick moves isnt really good idea, because hydraulic distributor gives different flows and pressure on each function. That way this excavator be weaker on some moves and too strong on another function
Never heard this before. Mine seems to have the same pressure on each outlet- I don't see why it wouldn't.
👍👍
HI Dave Its COOL VIDEO
Gruß Vom Germany
Dave you need a lowboy dumpster trailer.
That would be sweet
Is that a dump insert mounted to a trailer? It looks pretty decent all painted blue. I notice you have a couple Dakota trucks it seems one with a plow. Have you plowed with it yet? Curious how it does… I have had a few Dodge Dakota and considered a 6.5 size plow … I have had many different setups for plowing over the years.
Thanks Dave. Try to start your videos with positive comments. People really like positive comments like. We going to get this done. Lets look around as see if we can find it. Wouldn't it be funny if...
That old girl deserves a new ebay thumb and earl scheib paint job this winter
Tractor supply Majic kubota orange is much cheaper 9.99 and works really well. I have used on all of my kubota machines
The color doesn’t match perfect
Damn DD, you hell wif dem wire strippers hahaha
Hi Dave, Nice vids so far. Hope you at least trimmed zip ties? 😊
I did
Heydumpsterdave you need to convert a old wood chipper before OSHA to a tub grinder and grind that to mulch and sell it off
All good 😊😊
Ive seen the lever under your feet, under the front lip of the floor, hood and all over the place. Some wasnt even a lever just a hex head on a junction block looking piece.
How many pick up trucks do you own? Keep up the great work!
Good thinking with wearing safety glasses just gotta try best to keep them not scratched up and clean. I got dirt in my eyes before it’s not fun obviously
I got metal in my eye years ago and had to go to the hospital and they took it out with a needle. The numbing part was the worst.
@@Dumpster_Dave I have got rust in my eyes luckily was able to wash it out
Keep wearing safety glasses it’s annoying but you don’t want to go through they again I don’t want to get into a bad situation like I could have got in if I didn’t wash my eyes out or didn’t know I had small rust crumbs in my eye.
I felt it luckily and washed it out
I will second the safety squints approval, glad to see it Dave, my guys fight me all the time about wearing them. If I hadn't been wearing them, there are 10x in the past 30 years I would have had a serious injury or lost an eye. Anyhow, love the LED lights Dave, that Kubota is going to serve you well. I'm excited to see what you do on the new to you track loader👌
Go,,,,, Dad 😊
Dave, a machine that old more likely doesn't have a pattern control switch. And I would not have any idea what the price might be to have such a valve installed. Most new (if not all new) excavators have a pattern control valve assembly installed at the factory or dealership.
But your machine may not have room to install such a valve assembly.
Seems like you need to tighten up the canopy or out ina cross brace
I have to check that
What’s with the hanging plastic from the ceiling? Leaks? Maybe a new roof?😊.like your contents, you have purpose!
Lol keeps the heat from escaping
Dave, please link to the grey wire

WOW get some new tires for that dump trailer with all that money from youtube LOL
That machine is probably too old and/or too small to have a switchover lever.
To old, the newer 40 has it
I don’t know 🤷♀️ never saw a lever either??? 😮
how come she's so squeaky when moving? sounds like metal on metal really bad. how is that fixed? cool videos.
Hey Davis geoghan hey buddy I watch all your videos I got a couple questions for you where did you get those lights at for your excavator and if you can could you send me the number off of that wiring I need to get me some and it's pretty decent looking wire appreciate you bro keep up the good work
The LED lights are from a local truck shop near me and here’s the wire

@@Dumpster_Dave thank you sir I don't know where it came up with that goofy ass last name LOL let me know when you're ready to sell that John Deere tractor
My yanmar is newer than that machine and doesn't have a pattern change lever.
A Kubota dealership charging $25.00 for a can of spray paint that cost .59 cents to make in china---that sounds about right.
Dave, did you email Kubota, they would tell you.
I went to the Kubota dealer, they know nothing
@@Dumpster_Dave 😤😤😤
WHY DID'T YOU BURN THE BRUSH I N PLACE
Can’t, I live in a village and a couple of the neighbors already hat me lol
@@Dumpster_Dave Too bad about that. I burn stuff all the time in place. Lots easier to spread ashes than haul brush. I wish I lived next to you- you would never hear a complaint from me.
I yhink there pulling ur leg but maby not
If that’s the case it worked
@@Dumpster_Dave Haha!
C’mon Dave…you know that when you’re working on the dash you definitely need your chainsaw. Duh!!
it won’t start lol 😂
Your daughter is adorable.
