I must admit that many times i find the meats cheeses and breads in your videos as beautiful as the knives you review for us Stefan, thank you for this video.
The most important thing is that they taste good.
Stefan, my partner is a teacher of the English language (besides maths, physics and chemistry), and when she heard your English, she shouted "wow", his (your) English, namely grammar, is perferct. On the other side, I bought some knives (or brands) you were here presenting, as Laguiole de Thiers, Le Liadou or Perceval Vendredi... Stefan, thanks for your recommendations for knives and honesty in cheesses!
Thank you very much for your kind words!
Cheeses and sausages gently bisected by an unmentioned knife. (notwithstanding the stars of the show) Lovely video. Thank you
There are several unmentioned knives, not just one. I recycled footage from my archive.
Bonjour Stefan,
Merci for to show us this typical Products.
In this Moment I watched this Video in Nice , Côde d`Âzur and Enjoy the Spring climate, the Restaurants also 😊.
The day before yesterday I buy a Laguiole with juniper handle.
Best Regards and Thx.
Au revoire
Christian
Quite honestly, I envy you right now. 😉
I love your videos for years and years. Always 😅 watched all..
Thank you! Is this your first comment after all these years?
What a delicious Stefan!!
There is always a knife for everything
Thanks for watching!
Morbier, Comté, saucisson. Best combo with a Nontron knife 👌🏻
The food always tastes best when you are on vacation.
Very true!
Nice those look great! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks for watching!
Glad I ate dinner before watching this video. 🙂
A wise decision indeed! 😉
Always get hungry when I watch all these cool knife videos!! French knives and French cheese...makes total sense!...sooo, the next German knife review, would that be with Scheibletten Käse!???? Lol😅.
Westfälischer Schinken!
❤Maybe you could do 1 or 2 videos on regional sausages & cheeses!❤
As I mentioned in this video, I don't have access to a wide variety of French cheeses. Also, I'm not a food expert at all.
You should do a segment once a week on cheeses and charcuterie .
Sorry, but I will never commit myself to a fixed schedule.
Informative as ever, thank you Stefan.
Thank you!
And now I just mis a beautiful crafted folding knife 🤔
🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for this! I now have two more cheeses to try with my wine tastings. 🍷🧀🍞🍷
I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
Your videos have encouraged me to add another knife to my humble collection - a Fontenille Pataud Le Thiers Gentleman with Juniper scales. I am getting that model because I will be using it to cut cheese and sausage when entertaining guests. But...I am worried about cleaning it. The new work of art will be doing work and will need cleaning. How do you clean your elegant keepsakes?
Very good choice! I clean the blades with a damp cloth and some washing-up liquid.
Das musste mal geklärt werden! ☝🏻
Liebe Grüße
Vor allem kann ich bei künftigen Fragen immer auf dieses VIdeo verweisen.
I have often wondered about this
Now you know.
@@StefanSchmalhaus indeed and thanks to you this American now owns a capuchadou. appropriately I themed it after the hunchback of Notre Dame becase at the time I just read it . I used a emerald becase Esmeralda is Spanish for emerald and rams horn roughly to refer to Djali the goat . It’s my favorite slipjoint
@@Hissatsu5 Wow! The Capuchadou is one of my favorite knives as well.
@@StefanSchmalhaus for good reason I now know
ENDLICH!
Ja, wurde Zeit ...
Was für ein Augenschmaus. Vielen herzlichen Dank.
Unglaublich, was wir dort einkaufen konnten. 🙂
Herzlichen Dank.
How sweet is this
Especially considering the fact that I rarely do what my viewers ask for ... 😂

I’m a fan of pretty knives and elegant use thereof
And the red wines? Bordeaux?
Yes, mostly.
Here I always thought the Cheeses & Sausages were German, surprise French.🤗 When I see sausages I think German not French.🤔 Thanks for the info on the Cheeses & Sausages
Yeah, one of the many clichés about Germany and the Germans. Oh, by the way, I don't wear Lederhosen and I've never been to the Oktoberfest. 😝
@@StefanSchmalhaus and here I've been to Oktoberfest 3 time (back in the late 70's and early 80's). I'm with you on the Lederhosen 😆
Three times? I guess you are more German than I am. 😂
Dried sausage is a big thing in France, Spain and Italy... including their Dried Hams!! Germany is more about fresh and slightly smoked sausage...my problem is: I like 'em all...lol
@Jay's stuff Lederhosen rock, I own 3 custom made pairs...each one with a side pocket for a knife!!! Lederhosen and knives go like "Brühe und Maultaschen"!!!
Thank you for the information.🧀🔪🌭🙂
Thanks for watching!
If I review a German knife, I will probably use some German food. Indeed, Spanish sausages and Belgian beers are very good.
Hey man, are you ok?
Alive and kicking!
I miss your videos 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼@@StefanSchmalhaus
@@fj103 I can't get my ass up to work on new ones.
So when do you get an endorsement?
Good question! 😂 I wouldn't mind if Maison Loste sponsored me.
