@@luthert657 what im saying, it's ideal for messi to stay for the sake of barca, after all this time. Rebuild the team, rebuild the club, with him at the center.
      But looking at the situation,
he would choose his own personal career, and its realistic that way because he's aging, it's his prime time now. If he still wants glory, winning titles, its now or never. Of course loyalty is the talking point here. Like the video mentioned, loyalty is something RARE in football.

    • @ikgz98
      @ikgz98 Před 3 lety +1

@Zack Smith but the situation is different now. I don't think everyone would blame messi if he wants to leave. Yes, Barca is very important to Messi. But he's a player with prestige. It's either the club or himself. And i believe such a prestigious player like him would choose career over club. It may not sound very good of messi, it's selfish, but that's the reality.

      Country
      1. Culture.
      2. Language.
      3. Trait.
      Club
      1. Training menu.
      2. Club philosophy and core.
He dominated AGAINST. I always said he can only play for Barcelona. Why? Look at Argentina. Barcelona was tailored for him, the training menu, the street etc. Unless the other club tailored the club for him.. it won't work. He could work for some club good especially Man City. Since the team's philosophy and core is the same. Its a challenge for him. Look at Ronaldo, every club he went to was tailored for him. Messi could also do it if yhe circumstances is the same.
Plus the gane is played differently in each country. In my country, we still going Route 1 playstyle. Pablo Aimar once played here and said it is fast. He left and didn't make much impact. Messi would be the same if he played here (Low tier teammate, different core and philosophy.) Even David Silva changed slightly in his game to played in EPL, he could be like that or endup like Ozil, who been given the team, tailored for him and failed miserably because he didn't adapt.
By tailored I mean, he needed the "Xavi", "Iniesta", rondo playstyle, 70% ground passes, rigid formation etc. He needs to find a club that have those things. Messi wouldn't survive at Liverpool for example. The core is very different. Chelsea is rebuilding, might be a good match. Man United and Man City is a good match too. City is the best team for him at this point. Bayern is good too since Pep went there.
The challenge with going to another league is not just the football involved. In the country itself. The principles of that country. Just look at how many top top players who went to other countries and fail. Of course they also scored against the club in the other leagues. Get it? Just because he is Messi, doesn't mean the probability of him failing is 100% wiped. Fernando Torres scores a lot at Atletico and Liverpool then we went to Chelsea and failed miserably. He scored and win against Chelsea too and its not even to another league. He won against Barcelona with Chelsea but when he get back to La Liga, its the same thing again until he's retired. Yeah, you could chalked it to injuries or whatnot but that's the challenges he have to face. Just because he scored some against them, doesn't mean there aren't any other factors to fucked him up.

@@AIIXIII0 beautifully explained, but does that mean almost every top top player has that problem? Because I don't see a player like Messi or Ronaldo changing his football to fit in the club's philosophy 😅

    • @AIIXIII0
      @AIIXIII0 Před 3 lety +6

@@E.L.Matheus It depends really. Yeah, its "normal." But we have no fix for stupidity 🤣
It goes on certain managers I think. This is just my personal view.. example, Klopp. I don't think he would change the way Liverpool operates for Messi. Messi would have to adapt to Liverpool playstyle. Dribble like he always but still crazy defending. There are managers like that in my opinion.
And I forgot to include, the club may also needs to buy and sell players in order to familiarize the tactical. That's another factor. This is one of the "core" of the clubs. Most clubs bought players that are suited for their tactical needs. Again, Liverpool as an example.. Liverpool players are inclined towards running, movement. Pretty much the opposite of Barcelona. Right now, Gegenpressing is their life. What if Messi goes there, they had to abandon the Gegenpressing?
Humans have a lot of habits.. a lot. Habits dies hard. Gegenpressing took 4 years to create. If Liverpool needed to be tailored to Messi, how many years would it take to reformed? And after they won the league?
There's a reason why some clubs doesn't went with some players even though they are top class. The risk and reward. The expenses after.
That's why I said in my post, Man City and Bayern is the best club for him if he want to go because it doesn't need to be tailored. They have the same philosophy, the core principles.
Let's face the fact. Messi can't do anything by his own. Take a look at his Argentina career. The formation, the players needs to be spot on. Needs to be aligned. The same goes with every players. Unless he is like Maradona, which have a great international and club career.. I wouldn't have this thoughts. I think Maradona nailed it both great. Cryuff is another one. Both man would just take control and lead the team while Messi can't do that. He's an awesome player but he's no tactician or charismatic. In other word, he's not an egoistic douche lol.
Its a 50/50 gamble but with the right club, its good. Ronaldo in ManU are different than Real's Ronaldo. With Juventus, he doesn't have that problem because he changed to a CF and Juve still kept their style of play. Its a change right? His style is technically the same but the space he occupied is entirely different. Playing a CF from the LW changes perspective. Changes the circumstances. I would want to explain more on the two positions but it will get long 😜
No player is bigger than the club. If there are, that's what happens to Barcelona.

@@erGang-mj4zb Competition for what? They're completely different types of players and in a way that makes them almost perfectly complementary. Ronaldo is a powerhouse forward, quite tall, physically strong, and as he ages he'll more and more take on the role of a poacher-style forward like Van Nistelrooy, while he should still be able to stay strong even as he loses quickness. Messi is short, but physically strong for his size, has a low centre of gravity, can easily dodge challenges and just outplay any opponent even if they're way stronger and faster than him, the ideal player to combine with someone like Ronaldo, be it as a playmaker or with both of them as strikers.
In fact, the 5-3-2 system of Juventus lends itself almost perfectly for that, look at the efficacy of the Dybala/Mandzukic strike partnership, except that both Messi and Ronaldo are better.

The argument of La Liga being a farmer league is so weak. In the head to head this season between Spanish and English teams, La liga came out ahead with 6 wins, 3 losses.
In the CL and EL, so far from the group stages up to the finals we have these results:
    - 9th placed Valencia beat Chelsea 1-0, then a 2-2 draw.
    - Atletico won both fixtures against Liverpool.
    - City won both against RMA.
    - Sevilla beat Wolves.
    - Sevilla beat Man United.
-Espanyol beat Wolves, Wolves beat Espanyol (for perspective, Espanyol is going to be relegated).
So head to head, 6-3 to La liga this season. Lots of teams with weak budgets beat the "greatest league in the world". Bloody 9th placed Valencia beat 4th placed Chelsea from PL. I rest my case.

    • @AIIXIII0

Its not very a sound argument. You just mentioned the top teams against each other. Yeah, I acknowledged that La Liga team is the bane for EPL teams. In fact, most top EPL team is weaker than other European league (Lose often to them.)
Its called a farmer's league because there's not really a challenge WITHIN the league itself. So make a new case and study the two league from WITHIN.
I don't use the farmers league nickname. I called other European league is the boring league. There's a clear gap between the top teams and the rest of them.
The EPL is entertaining. Much much entertaining. 4 years ago, Leicester won. Wolverhampton rise up and beat the previous champions twice. Sheffield United consistently this season at the top half of the league. Watford causing trouble against the top teams. There's a lot more tension, a lot more drama with the EPL. Hence why people called it the strongest league since there are always some changes. Leeds are coming back, Newcastle got a new owner. See?
With La Liga, top teams get beaten by lower teams is a surprised but I don't think it happen often than in EPL.
EPL top four changed a lot but La Liga is dominated by 2-3 clubs for almost or maybe more than a decade. Unless you can show me otherwise of course.
At least that's what I understand from this whole argument.

Losses for Barcelona in the 19/20 season against teams that finished:

Look at the draws and you will find more points dropped against lower sides. I don't know where this argument came from, probably some English pundit, but Real and Barca tend to struggle mostly against lower ranked sides. Here I have not included draws due to the long text, but you get the point.
What I will however say is the production value of the EPL is far better than La liga. They can make a cold night in Stoke look like a day of sunshine, and the only place you want to be, whereas the La Liga production makes El Clasico appear like it's played in the second division.

Not even Ronaldo. Heck I barely see three man pressing him so hard on any normal game and that’s facts, Barca’s midfield was non existent that games, it was just Messi and Suarez up top not receiving balls Messi drops deep and non of his teammates want the ball but no it’s his fault bcuz Messi is a bottler he makes one team apparently. Messi gets to challenge for the UCL for the last 3,4 years of his career and as for Barcelona, we get 300 million plus as a transfer fee and we don't have to pay his astronomical wages of 50 million plus a year. Also if he stays at Barca he won't be that useful as our team will be in a rebuild. Also with Messi still being the Man, the team and the rebuild of the team will suffer.

@Zack Smith they do but Messi and CR7 are the GOATs
There will never be a player like Messi and maybe even CR7

@Zack Smith Ronaldo and Messi are miles ahead of everyone you mentioned maybe not quality wise but surely none of them had better careers. L doubt that we'll ever get as talented players as Messi and Ronaldo who'll be consistent like them at the same time

Remember not to idolise Football and football players. Jesus Christ is our Lord and Saviour and He loves you with all His heart. He died on the cross for ALL mankind and for EVERY sin to prove that and more. Those who reject Jesus Christ end up in hell for not accepting His love and truth and God/Jesus doesn’t want this for us at all. The devil has deceived this whole world into thinking he doesn’t exist and himself doesn’t exist but it’s a lie as the Bible says the devil is the father of ALL lies. If you want to accept Jesus Christ, the Bible says we have to believe in our heart that God Rose Jesus up from the dead on the 3rd day after His death on the Cross and confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord. God Bless you, God gave us free will in whether we accept Him or reject Him and stay with satan. It’s your choice but God’s wrath will be poured out to those who reject when Jesus takes His believers who have Trusted in Him and followed Him not doing what they wanted to do but Doing what God the Mighty Father told them to do, as we all have to follow the Will of God. Blessings🙏🏾✝️❤️
