Oh and check out her "screaming woman" character, where she plays a woman who can't get through her day without everything making her jump. Even the toast popping up makes her drop her glass of orange juice. 🤣🤣
Ok so the purple nurse's top iis a general uniform we also wear in residential care homes. I'd never seen the lesbian nurse sketch b4, so to see her use my uniform is just even more 😂😂😅

It was the Dr who element to this being number 1. If you have not seen DR Who, Catherine played Donna Noble and was excellent

The character at number one also took part in The Royal Variety Show around 2005 and picked on The Royal Box and the late Queen
Lauren was more popular because virtually everybody in the country was using her catchphrase "am I bovvered though". Nobody could talk about the Lauren character without saying that line.

Dear Ashley, thank you for your reviews on British and Australian Comedy. In the current world of WOKE it is truly refreshing to see an American enjoying our rather perverse humour this much.
Check out classic 70s comedy George and Mildred ( episodes are on youtube)
George and Mildred is a British sitcom produced by Thames Television and first aired between 1976 and 1979. It is a spin-off from Man About the House, and starred Brian Murphy and Yootha Joyce as constantly-sparring married couple George and Mildred Roper.The premise of the series had George and Mildred leaving their flat as depicted in Man About the House and moving to a modern, upmarket housing estate in Hampton Wick. Their arrival horrifies their snobbish neighbour Jeffrey Fourmile, a middle-class estate agent who fears the Ropers' presence will devalue his home.
All these sketches are on ONE TV show, the Catherine Tate Show, it's not alot of different programs. If u like Catherine Tate that much, u should check her out on Dr who, as the narrator says Catherine Tate played Donna noble in the run away bride, then on series 4 of Dr who she became a full time companion for one series
These sketches are all one show, where Catherine Tate dresses up as different characters with different personalities etc, you need to watch the full Catherine tate shows you’ll absolutely love it some characters are funny than others but it’s really good and you don’t get shows like this anymore.

Some of the Catherine Tate sketches, you may not pick up on, because you need to understand local culture to enjoy the full laughs.
I think that's where Mr Bean scored internationally - he hardly talks anything.
