Hi everyone! I'm an American from the Northeast (New England). I want to create a watering hole for people who want to discuss, learn and teach about history through CZcams videos which you guys recommend to me through the comment section or over on Discord. It's called tesco but we use it pluraly and call it tesco's or like asda we call it asda's

There are so many accents in Britain. It's a small country, but many people here can't understand all the accents either.
Peeing is urinating, Connor you don't have to explain yourself to anyone. Drinking water is not a Federal offence or against the Law in the UK. On the other hand Coke after a meal, please try a brandy or a liquor. Love this sketch.

My mother had 3 heartattacks in a row, because she drank way to much water. She became better after that. So too much water can actually kill you.
It dilutes the potassium in the body. But it has to be an awful lot, or drinking too much at once. You are supposed to drink a good two litres a day of water.
The funniest part about the Tate show is she portrays how ridiculous narcissistic individuals can ABSOLUTELY be (you can't win with them, the best you can do is not engage, no contact ideally bc these ppl just can't care about how they affect you or your feelings if it gives them fuel, but they are usually VERY GOOD at deception through displaying what seems like genuineness but they've learnt to mirror others so well but that side is a hollow facade they use when and as needed. But yeah. It's like PRETTY MUCH, that's how it goes, can never fucking win with these folks bc they insist on making you miserable no matter what you do and then INSIST they're the REAL aggrieved party here, not you.

I've noticed that a lot of american reactors are drinking water during their videos. Perhaps because it's hot , I don't know. I only know I need to drink more water than I do personally, because it's good for my health.

I believe he means the fuse in the plug. In the UK they use Edison's system of electricity. It is direct current and is more dangerous. The plugs are huge and have fuses in them. In North America we use Tesla's system AC/DC, alternating current and is much safer. Why we have tiny plugs.
UK uses mains voltage at 220V AC.
No this is not correct, we use 240v AC, but the outlet circuit has a 32 Amp breaker, so the plugs are fused at a suitable level for the appliance. For example a 2 Amp string of Christmas lights would be incinerated and start a fire by a fault, so they would have a 3 Amp fuse. An electric kettle would have a 13 Amp fuse and so on.
The Uk uses an AC electricity supply. The mains supply is 230 volts with a frequency of 50 hertz which means the current alternates 50 times per second. This makes it better for moving currents over long distances.
We put the fuses in the plugs for safety reasons. The UK household electrical system is arguably the safest in the world.
You use "Tesla's system AC/DC" - make your mind up!
@@shoutinghorse Add to that the UK use 3 pins for Live, Neutral and ground , plus the shutters for the 1st 2 makes it far safter, the only way is a UK plug is more dangerous is when you step on it :)
