The fact that men of every race, color, creed and ideology stand on that field every week and compete with tremendous passion, skill and sportsmanship is enough evidence that racism is slowly dying than practically anything else. It bothers me when people get into fights because that is not what the game is about, they should channel that anger into the game and use it to win for their team... for Garret to swing the helmet at Rudolph’s unprotected head, that goes beyond football in my eyes, he decided to commit assault live on TV and then when people were justifiably outraged, he pulled the race card and fabricated a story about being called the “n word”. That is not solving racism, he is doing his team a disservice, he is doing himself a disservice, he did Mason Rudolph and the Steelers a disservice, it was all negative and the browns deserved every bit of that L the Steelers handed them this year.

If you're genuinely the type of person who doesn't care about evidence, fairness, objectivity----or who otherwise sees no value in trying to verify/corroborate accusations as it pertains to due process for the accused, then congratulations on being an unapologetically biased clown.
Congratulations on being the exact kind of person who bought into Jussie Smollett's ridiculous "Chicago white supremacists" BS story hook, line, and sinker... simply because you wanted to.
Of course, just as with the tale Garrett spun; any unbiased, remotely objective, halfway decent person capable of critical thinking knew that Jussie was 100% full of sh*t. And, as it turned out, all the skeptics were proven correct.
Bottom line, Myles Garrett had all the incentive in the world to lie, in a weak-but-desperate attempt to save face... and, quite tellingly, not a single person (not even those on his own team) spoke out to verify or lend credence to the man's cowardly accusations. Not one single man that was on that field with him would back up the convenient narrative that Garrett somehow, for no good reason in particular, didn't voice until long after the game ended.
Only once facing well-deserved scrutiny during the postgame pressers did Garrett randomly insist on this ultra-convenient "likely story" recounting of events. This WAY after the fact... all of which makes you either an exceptionally gullible person, or just a flat-out disingenuous liar.

He answered that question previously in the interview when he explained that the NFL investigated the situation using on field audio & camera footage from the altercation & interviewed multiple players on both teams close to the situation & none of them corroborated the allegations, nor was anything ever brought up until a long period of time after the game.

shuatree I hear you, but the NFL said there was no audio, which based on their practices is highly unlikely. They always have prime-time games like that one fully miced, but sommehow this is the ONE and only time in recent history they didn't? Hard to believe. It really seems like the NFL covered it up and the Steelers stand by the league and their player in a situation where they don't have any evidence themselves.

    • @blackspider2274

Mikes were switched off for the the last play of the game and switched back on again when the game ended were they? New NFL policy? Look NFL come clean and release the audio. If there's nothing on it then so be it. But not coming forward makes Garrett's allegations look credible and makes it look like the NFL is hiding the truth.
