Im not saying he sucks, but hes not perfect. That and the steelers are leading the leauge in penalties which is the coaches responsibility to clean up.

This is why I don't take the mainstream media seriously. Last year, they tried to tell me that Big Ben and Mike Tomlin had some unsolvable beef, and the Steelers needed to fire Mike Tomlin.
Watching this footage, I don't see that all. It seems like they have great chemistry, and they can disagree and still come together when they have to.
Both knew they were mic'd so I'm sure they were more tamed. Also, Steelers were winning big. What would have happened if the score was reversed? I'm sure there would be a lot more bitching and moaning not only from Mike and Ben but rest of the team.
As for media reporting, I doubt any of the reports were from direct source. Anonymous source in sports are far less accurate. 80% of the occupation runs on emotion, especially on game days. Would be interesting to mic'd up Colbert and Tomlin during off-season when they have to evaluate players.

Charlie Batch taught Ben the meaning of needing to be a good teammate, good leader, and good person. It was how he really became who he is now and learned how important it was. He was always a phenomenal player but had to learn how to be a good guy and now embodies everything he was taught. It is great to see him with other players, including on other teams. He will always greet other teams' guys and not stomp off the field in a loss or disrespect other teams or trash talk. I loved what he did with Eric Reid after the hit. He was very classy about it.

This steeler team has that feel to them this year. Everyone looking at kc or ne out of the afc but dont forget about pitt. They seemed to have rallied around the loss of bell and tend to play their best when they are under the radar and in the underdog role.

Just announced today Big Ben is retiring. It was pleasure watching this guy, coming from a Giants fan (unfortunately). Nonetheless, Ben was a fantastic quarterback, his greatest ability was being a leader, and all great quarterbacks are great leaders. Watch how he talks to his teammates, he sounds so genuine in what he says and is so encouraging. Mike Tomlin seems the same way! Thank you Ben for an amazing career!
