They had 50% less QB production, lost 5 more games than the previous season, and missed the playoffs because they couldn’t do better than Miami. He also has a losing record in his 5 years as head coach of the Browns. in his 7 plus years as head coach without Brady he made the playoffs one time in Cleveland and did manage to win 1 playoff game. In his 18 years as head coach with Brady they made the playoffs 17 times, making it to 9 superbowls and winning 6 rings. So yes there has been significant difference in Bill's head coaching career with and without Brady.

Id have to look at the Spotrac cap structure sheet for NE, but it baffles me that a team like the Cowboys can have not 1, but 2 or 3 O-Linemen breaking the bank, the highest paid RB, quite a bit of money of their LB, a top receiver, being in discussion to pay their QB upward of 33/35m a year while having the 4th highest cap space into next year.
Meanwhile NE can't afford Thuney AND Brady (and Im not even talking about Van Noy). Are Hightower and Gilmore making $25m eaxh next year??? :)

Whether Tom Brady stays or leaves the Patriots is a moot point - The Buffalo Bills will figure themselves out this next season enough for them to clinch the division, and my Dolphins will sweep them with our 3 first-round draft picks combined with Flores as coach being a big difference-maker. I wouldn't even put it past the New York JETS scoring a win against them. If I was Tom Brady, I'd leave the Patriots before it's too late because this is the rest of the AFC East's golden opportunity to slaughter the Patriots while they're figuring themselves out and even though he's at peak physical condition for his age, he's still 42 years old (as I make this comment right now) - he's still at the age where he can't afford a serious injury!
