My name is My View My Opinion (MVMO) & I am a Podcaster, on CZcams. Due to safety concerns on the internet, I do not share my personal information anymore and I ask that others respect this. Also, I'm against the cult of personality & the promotion of self. I have no desire to "make a name" for myself. That's odd in this day & time I know, because most strive for this. Too many folks make themselves the center of attention instead of helping others first & allowing the information they share to be the focus of folks attention. Many crave applause, acceptance, & "fans & followers". I believe in letting the information take center stage.

They obstructed justice by not reporting a crime, actually PROFITED from the crime.
Even if the tape was bought security should have called the police immediately.

Hotel should be culpable. Committing a crime on security footage should involve them contacting the police. Hence the reason for security footage

40 year old eyes vs 20 year old eyes are two different things. I'm almost likely to believe that she did NOT like him initially but most of us who remember what it was like to be pursued by men not even close to some wealthy mogul ie: Mariah Carey, Celine Dion. None of us know if her parents liked him or not. We've only heard from people who know people who know people.
I have been quick to judge Cassie as well but I have to keep reminding myself of the many other factors involved. I also can believe that she wanted to leave a few times but Diddy terrorized her with threats if she left him.
I had a sliver of what happened to her happen to me. ie: sitting in a tree watching you leave your house, crying and begging, showing up, calling you. I couldn't even imagine someone with long money trying to control you because he thinks your his possession

I worry more about his teenage daughters possibly 'taking themselves out'. In all the revelations that have come out, they have had to hear all the doubts and questions now about their own mother's death. And now they have a visual of who their father really is. Those girls are probably barely hanging on because of the shame and chaos his mess has caused them.

There is physical abuse going on every day in our neighborhoods. And we say mind your business. Keep the energy that you have for Diddy and the hotels, for your wicked neighbors. Many time a husband and wife could be fighting and we just keep moving. It's easy to type your anger on computer, but when you see abuse next door, do you come to the woman or man's defense or call the police.

IHG, nope. Don't want to hear some lame released statement. The records will reflect on the entire staff that worked that day that need to be brought in for interrogation by police regardless of whether they still work there or not.
This should send a huge message to all hotels,training, policies and accountability. Diddy's mother knows her child, but she closed her eyes, probably because she's living a GOOD life being quiet and that will come back to haunt her. Also, Kim Porter's death should be reopened--SUSPICIOUS!!

I disagree with you. The corporate office always has a complaint process for its employees as legal protection. I worked in the HR department of Coca-Cola and have been a firsthand witness to how this system of suppression works. The corporate office is normally advised by its legal department to silence the person filing the complaint, which means firing them. Not only did I witness it and try to help those complaining, but I was one of those people who complained too and got fired. I say have no mercy on the owner and boycott IHG.

What’s important here is context. Not only did the victim make a phone call during the attack but the digital video was “sold” for 50k. Hotel companies don’t use VCR tapes. Everything is digital and a “local” owner is unable to manipulate digital recordings. Typically these digital recordings can be kept on record anywhere from 30 days to years depending on the establishment. A local employee would not have access (either management or general management) as they have access to the property and could themselves participate in illegal activities then delete/remove the footage. This type of access is at an ownership level ..

Maybe the tapes are what Kim gave to Cassie because they were meeting up before Kim passed. Kim would have access to the tapes. Diddy probably knew Cassie had them that's why he settled so quickly.

It would be nice for IHG to make statement in regards to this incident however staff has probably changed etc I say yes just out of courteous. At the same time who would hold they accountable in that past situation

A while back Gene Deal said he was told that Puffy had slapped his mother and he said if he had known he would have handled him. When I think of how she smiled at him etc it’s similar to how Cassie and Kim acted around him. Was she afraid of him because he allegedly slapped her?
There are tons of crimes committed at hotels. They are in the business of making money so there has to be a level of confidentiality for the guests. They were wrong for being paid off but ultimately they can’t do anything with the footage until the authorities request it.

I remember a number of years ago at the world's largest military installation, a low ranking Soldier committed a hate crime against another Soldier in the barracks. The senior commanding general on the installation was relieved of his duties because of this - along with every other leader in that Soldier's chain of command.
The message was: in leadership, you're responsible for everything that happens... or fails to happen! In this instance, it appears that IHG staff at "some" level failed to report this. And now the sound of a cover-up is reverberating at the "highest" levels! #OhBoy

Local hotel management is the only one that should have some culpability. All this sensationalism distracts from the REAL issue of a predator at large. The lack of empathy and understanding of narcissistic abuse and trauma is truly disturbing. Women are 70 times more likely to be killed in the two weeks after leaving than any other time in the relationship. I have compassion for Cassie. I believe she signed up for a sugar daddy and ended up with a sociopathic. Sean will probably turn up like Epstein.
