Totally agree. My favourite player EVER!! I remember watching him at the games from 94-97, and he grabbed everyone’s imagination. On one occasion my mum and sister were in another part of the ground to where I was on a European night (Galatasaray), and without following football that much, they both said later how everyone was in awe of him, even when he wasn’t on the ball. He was like an orchestra conductor!!
I remember a friend, not a Newcastle supporter but an 'ABU' advocate, banging on and on about the impossibility of United making up the deficit to Newcastle. I would say, "It's not even Christmas yet." I was confident, if not 100% convinced, that a combination of United playing well and Newcastle feeling the heat would result in a serious reversal of fortune. And so it went.
There's a relatively recent article from the Guardian (I think) which has a line about Cantona that stays with me. "Behaviour that would seem ostentatious in others was entirely natural with him." Bang on.
Houcine Atiki Houcine .. The best 9 in the world were the 9 members of the south Fermanagh brigade of the IRA !!! Killed more Brit soldiers than any other unit 🇮🇪✊🏻🇯🇴
He made the mid 90s unforgettable.
Cantona was a genius not a normal footballer he was the greatest French player ever
Special player ,but speaking as a united fan I'd have to say Platini was the best French footballer.
That title belongs to Zidane mate
@@andyhalstead3949Platini IS a legend but Zidane IS thé best
My favourite Man United player of all-time :)
This man made me excited about life in general not just football was on another level
No player will ever come close to him.He will always be king of Manchester united

What about giggs, or scholes? They did way more for way longer.
George....Best, Cantona most influencial. !!
He single handled made modern football famous. The GOAT
he was born for man u as sir alex ferguson said🐐
He is the reason why I am a United fan today
Cantona is the reason why i love MU
He will for ever be my king
The fact that he came back won the league and FA cup, then gave the number 7 shirt to Beckham and the captain armband to Keane then retired. Legend.

The minute I saw that Keegan rant about Stuart Pearce, I knew we’d win the league. Straight up. Fergie had got to him!! Genius.
