Glad to see you're doing better David. I know what you mean about the aches and pains. I'm 71 and I'm here to tell you getting older ain't for the faint of heart. Stay safe and God bless you and your family
Hope your shoulder is doing better. Just pase yourself the best you can because I know you will go full throttle. Just keep going because the golden years are not so golden when it comes to pain.
David I gotta say man I absolutely love watching your videos they're so much fun to watch I could spend all day watching. Just wish I didn't live clear across the country or I would help you all the time.
I know how it is to drive that far for wood, surprised you didn't bring the black ford just to make the trip pay better. Glad to see your shoulder is manageable again.
Happy to see the cutting videos coming in again! Hope that shoulder heals up soon and that you are back to full strength for the fall cutting and hunting season. I’m just now getting caught up on your videos since we just had our first kid two weeks ago. Now have a son and excited to get him out into the woods! He’s gonna be a cutting and hunting machine. Your channel has been an inspiration of how to get them involved in this lifestyle and spending quality time together as a family.
Great video as always. You make me envious having access to that kind of wood. I see you are back to using the fiskars again. Your shoulder must be much better which is good news.
Well I figured it wasn’t the axes so much I’m sure they are part of the problem but I found out from the doctors I have tendinitis and arthritis really bad in my shoulders
That's a nice load of wood David, makes me just a bit jealous after spending the day beating the crap out the stringiest Fir on the mountain yesterday.
Thats sweet to get that many logs. When i lived in oregon in the late 80's used to go up to logging areas and get all the butt cuts and smaller logs they didnt take. Wood is wood some days.
Nice!!.. you make it look so easy.. firewood is our only source of heat came fall time here on the Rez.. we don't have them long logs.. just beautiful watching, Bro.
You ever find out what was wrong with Nikki? My first thought would be exhaust leak. Always start with the small stuff. But it kinda sounds like maybe a broken valve spring. Gotta get the cover off and take a look.
Just dealing with it… mri came back and doctors determined it’s tendinitis and arthritis in both shoulders just about everyone on my moms side of the family has it
@@mountainlifewithdavidkelsie It is busy like all of us are but I think it is going well. Hoping to fill our wood shed the rest of the way this fall-spring and get a couple years ahead. Hope things are well for you and your family as well!! I am playing catch up on your videos.
It’s funny how that type of stuff gets our attention tho! My all time favorite hunting is whitetail during the rut! I love rattling whitetail on the ground no stand stuff… just running ridges and rattling!
Glad to see you're doing better David. I know what you mean about the aches and pains. I'm 71 and I'm here to tell you getting older ain't for the faint of heart. Stay safe and God bless you and your family
Only wish I had access to logs like that on a regular basis.
Thanks for sharing

@@danielbenedict9236 all is good behind on content lol but going pretty good just the usual living and breakdowns haha
Will you be making trips until this deck is clear David?
Off and on but I’m not greedy and try to take it all there are other folks who need to cut wood
I like this work .....Is your forest there. ?..
Yes
@@mountainlifewithdavidkelsieNice. .....and i also have forest here but it is smaller. ...,
you need a trailer to haul more wood😊
Favorite smells. 😂. Doesn't rank that high for me. Whitetail piss during the rut makes my top 5. Lol.

Why don't you have your kids help you during the summer since they are out of school.
They do
