@@HighPeakAutos IMO, keep the Range Rover. You have always talked about them. You haven't always talked about anything else anywhere near as often. I suggest that deep down everything else is a second or third car option for you. Maybe it will be possible to keep them both. Only you know your finances, but if I've listened carefully enough you stretched your current finances to afford the Range Rover, so this seems to have come at a bad time. Personally, I'm not a big fan of either car's looks, but the Range Rover makes a better impression; the M5 looks little different from an ordinary M Sport version, at least to me.
Amazing machine! BMW, even though some people talk shit about them, are a different breed of cars. Enjoy driving it!

Both have their benefits and niggles

Actually...you could drive the RR over the M5 and hardly notice the bump...
You can’t really go wrong with these cars. Good looks, great MPG, safety for the family and plenty of space. That’s a really nice spec you’ve got on this one.

Great choice. I had a v10 M5 and had to sell it to fund the purchase of our new home but I have never missed a car so badly. I'd jump at being able to own another or better still a newer V8 model.

Ive had mine for two months and im still amazed every time i drive it.
Its insanely fast for such a big car (had a E60 550 before).
Theyre great aren't they. I always liked the subtlety of the E60 550i

I have a Cayenne and a 911. I only drive the Cayenne when I have to. I appreciate the high seating position and the utility, but nothing handles and drives like a car, especially the one you bought. Great color as well. It will be easy to sell.

The right colour combo too, fantastic purchase. My only worry would be whether they are thief magnets like fast Audis and Mercs etc.
Thats my worry too. All cars of that nature seem to be stolen regularly

Ok...add these thoughts! I own a 2015 BMW X5M and absolutely love it...AND....there is a tuning company in the UK called Viezu....and they are a totally reputable and amazing timing company.....and provided me with an ECU remap that took my 5,200 lb SUV from 567 bhp to 650 bhp...which translates into a 0-60 time of around 3.8 seconds....and it is amazing! Look into it for any performance vehicle...love them!!

@@HighPeakAutos I traded in an X trail for mine The Bm has 4 k more miles than the x trail.But the difference in quality and style are worlds apart .I will never deviate from BMW again, maybe Merc e class but that would be it

Had one of these back in 2004 in Dubai so able to give it some thrashing on the desert highways to Abu Dhabi and round Al Ain and back via mountain drive up to Jebel Hafeet........they are really the ultimate driving machine! Yes your correct ....you got the “car owner virus”...!

I knew straight away it was going to be an M5! What a car, and that exhaust note too! It gave me a tingle, I'm not really sure what a tingle is but it's what I feel when I hear a good exhaust note. As much as I like the RR, I think the M5 would be my car of choice though. Is there a big price difference between the two?

I sympathize perfectly with your predicament, ie a phenomenal car you would like to keep but will put back in the showroom.
I'm looking at the sheen on that steering wheel and thinking mileage blocker..... (I know the sheen of a high mile M car)
An epic thing the f10 M5, I'll keep my V10 though, unfortunately if BMW ever made another M5 touring, I'd be surprised if it had 6 pots, never mind 8 or indeed 10!

Monte Carlo blue and Silverstone leather..best combination.I had a new F10 M5 in 2013 and it was a masterpiece . Enjoy it Matt..its one of the best out there for the money.

Easiest decision in the world for me , id be keeping the M5 and saying bye bye range rover tommorow lol no question about it, easy for me to say BMW is my favourite and personally not keen on Range Rovers, i have a 2015 520d at the minute and love it, cant wait to be able to afford an M5! Just insurance at 20 year old is ridiculous too say the least. Keep the awesome videos coming!

I've done a Lap of the Nurburgring in one of those (Driven by a very fast German) Ring Taxi, awesome car
Nice, seriously considering one of these. But with my sensible hat, lease SUV and a low mileage M2 for my commute (although still keep looking at Evoras (which I know are completely impractical!!!)).
Early examples have come down in price quite considerably and almost in the same bracket (in Australia at least) as E60 M5s. I know which one I'd go for.

I guessed incorrectly. I thought it was the E60 V10 M5. Still, it’s a belter if a machine. I’d love to get hold of an M3 or M5 for a few days.

Keep it! Epic car and ok to run. Biggest regret I have is getting rid and will return soon. Range Rover daily driver, M5 when you want/need it. Perfect two car garage
I'd have the Range Rover but hey it is personal preference.. Although I would love a go in the M5! Waiting for the XFR video 🙏 from a massive Jag fan 👊🏻
I love the M5 and have always said I would have one but the running cost really put me off, 535d next I think it's a great balance between proformance and running costs.
Already have a 520d and love it, just wished I'd waited and saved a little more for the 530d but I really was at the top of my budget without getting a loan.
