I’m so glad someone addressed the elephant in the room regarding the head unit mounting point! Typically cycling tips recently released an update article where they apparently asked the questions their readers had; unfortunately (but probably not unexpectedly) they didn’t ask them how to mount a head unit! 🙄 like you said Bianchi are probably side stepping that question!

I’ve often wondered why bike companies stick to the scaled sizing model for handlebars and stems, the general trend from bike fitting advice is that bars are often too wide, and reach is very often too long. Very tall people don’t always = very wide people.
It is so stupid their sizing, especially when they limit the sizes. And being proprietary you can't buy aftermarket. For this price it is pi$$ poor.

or just buy the Bianchi Oltre Comp normal riser stem no vent no vent holes sticking out when racing the frame plus fork is lighter and you can stick a computer mount on the bars for 5799 euros, we have a retailer here that sells the model for 5200 euros with 12 speed di2 and 55mm high wheels 8kg not bad with changing wheels, bar, stem saddle you could have a bikes around 7,5-7,7kg's, also I don't believe the Bianchi Oltre RC weighs 6,8kg's a bikeshop weight it in at 7,4kg's
Carbon bikes are getting goofy now. There's not much left for them to do with carbon. Remember back in F1 racing when the naturally aspirated V10 engines were redlining at 19000 rpm? Teams were rumored to be spending $50M or more to get another 500 rpm. We need a new paradigm. AND the new Bianchi was approved by the UCI without those goody vents on the head tube so nobody will be racing with those. Or is this new Bianchi meant to be like the Colnago C68? Nobody races on it, it's a bespoke luxury item like a Gucci handbag.
I had the same issue with my Scott Foil RC 20(2022)…
Eventually ended up sticking with the handlebar/stem that came with the bike.
It would cost me an extra €600+ just for another handlebar width/stem length…

bianchi oltre can't have the vents now. Falls foul of the UCI rules. PMSL
Designed in italy, but the engineers forgot to read the rule book. 🤣
Also another "stuff up" the Bianchi oltre RC was listed originally for 29.9k AUD, then they quickly dropped it to 24.9k. As i said in my video, they are taken the Pi$$. The only thing i can say that was well done about this Bianchi Oltre RC was the video. 🤦

I use 38cm bars and that takes me out of ALL of these one piece bar/stem combos. It's a moot point because I don't know what my bike fit will be in the future, so to tie yourself to a set system is madness. Also, this bike is hideous.

Barfly will probably be brought in to design one like the Cervelo one a while back. Its such an oversight its like they've design something for a track bike and someone from accounts has been left in charge of speccing a road version.

La bicicleta trae un soporte especifico para esta bicicleta., que por cierto queda muy bien integrado en el manillar.
En el tema de las medidas de manillar es un tema que compete a todas las marcas con cableado guiado interno y manillares compactos, no es un problema especifico de Bianchi.....
Muy técnico y profesional ese comentario indicando que "crees" que el orificio central del manillar no sirve para nada sin haber ni siquiera testado la bicicleta.....
Que fácil es criticar una marca sin ni siquiera haber tenido oportunidad de verla en directo ni probarla....charlataneria
I had kinda the same issue with handlebars on my Pinarello because the integrated handlebars just go down to 42cm that we know by now it is a cc 40cm and i use 38cm but at least pinarello offers gandlebar stem option and in this configuration you can get a 40cm = 38cm cc but not all brands have options just nonsense they pretend to impose their stuff and you have to adapt these is just paving the road to custom frame builders the price is even higher i think
I rather get a bastion bike thar is going to 1 off instead of an expensive non custom non fiting bike
Btw Pinarello should make 36cm cc handlebars many females for example my wife would appreciate it she currently has a pro vibe pursuit in 36cm
Not just females in the West, even East Asian males have hard time finding narrower handlebar less than 40cm even though they buy Western brands.

Fundamentally one piece bar/stems are purely for aesthetics, to help hide cables. Their great disadvantage is that bar/stem angle is set at the angles in the mould....and if that angle doesn't suit the riders needs there is nothing you can do about it. Seperate stem/bars have endured due to their flexibility in being able to match the riders needs. One piece is another thorn in the tube of logical progress for the Industry and its customers.

Some people were saying that as it doesn't meet the rules.
When Bianchi makes one with Batmobile tailfins and paint scheme, I'll buy one. Until then, I don't think it would be worth $25,000. My aluminum track bike would be a great starting point for such artistic expression! The scallops wings could be JB welded to each seat stay and faired in with automotive body fillers. This would preclude the powder coating process for finishing. In addition to the existing shark gill overlays on the tapered headtube. Bat ears are more easily applied to aluminum bars where the brake hoods would be on a road bike using the same process. Leave the ears sharp to look more macho and aggressive. The hairdressers would flock to me and there would be no need to spend $14,000 or $25000 because they would know I have it going on! FTP would soar as this metric has lost some steam according to an expert on GCN. I say, give me steam or at least make it look cool! Keep it real.
Excellent video. One more thing: any idea how many mm of spacers will fit under the stem? It can't be one size fits all and it doesn't look like it can fit any at all...
You will need to contact a distributor or the company to find out, as that is a design specification.

That price is just silly. Not that I’m a big motorcycle fan, but you can get a very serious bike like a Kawasaki Ninja 650 ABS for less than 50% of that price on road!!

Bianche have made it clear this bike is a Ferrari, it is looks, it is the bike you casually ride to the cafe and it sits out the front while you sip latte's. Fit doesn't matter for this bike just as most Ferrari owners rarely go above the speed limit. This bike will get washed more than it gets ridden. It is the bike for a person with too much money. It will not have a computer, doesn't need one, you know how far the cafe is.

mono-cocpits with integrated cables are BS, adaptation of sitting position as well adjusting of steam/handlebars is constant process, and it is not given with this crap, to make it worst maintenance will take you 10 times more time as usual ..and that for 25.000 :))) without at least 10x free of charge replacements/adaptations absolut insane..but I guess who ever buy this crap is already helpless
