Blinken Personally Commits to Follow Through on Delivering Romney’s Comprehensive China Strategy

- At a Foreign Relations Committee hearing, Senator Romney pressed Secretary of State Antony Blinken on the Administration’s continued failure to deliver to Congress a comprehensive strategy to counter China, required by law after Romney secured his legislation as a part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2022. The Administration is now nearly one year late in delivering the strategy.

I grew up conservative and landed moderate-left. Mitt Romney is my kind of Republican. He's religious and I'm not, but I'll never forget what he chose when given the option of Joseph Smith or the Constitution as the highest authority. He chose the Constitution and should be praised for being respectfully religious, but not a theocrat.
Same here! I grew up conservative and landed moderate-left, but I have friends who are, one might say, "moderate-right" - and I am fine talking with them. They are not "Maga" right, whatever that is. Mitt Romney reminds me of the Republicans I knew back in the 80s when it was the party of Lincoln (and Reagan), not the party of the Orange One!

Excellent attitude by Mitt Romney, he has been by far the best Republican politician since Ronald Reagan. I remember how he was ridiculed some 12 years ago when asked about the biggest danger for America he simply answered Russia. He was totally right then and he is totally right today with China.
