  • The Women's 4x400m relay is always one of the most anticipated events at any Championship, and the 2022 Munich edition was no different.
The Netherlands won gold - having won gold at the European Indoor Championships in Torun - with Femke Bol anchoring them to take victory in 3:20.87.
It was the third fastest time in the history of the European Athletics Championships, and fastest since 1986.
Bol and the Dutch quartet outpaced Poland (3:21.68) and Great Britain & Northern Ireland 3:21.74) who claimed silver and bronze respectively.
