- Femke Bol was one of the standout athletes at Munich 2022, competing in three events and winning three gold medals.
This impressive hat-trick came in the 400m, 400m hurdles and the 4x400m. The Dutch starlets incredible performances accounted for 3 out of the 4 gold medals that the Netherlands won at the European Athletic Championships.
The 22-year-old was the only athlete at Munich 2022 to win three gold medals.

What I find so good about these races is that these girls all fall into each other’s arms, hug and congratulate the winners. There is true respect here.
I love watching Femke Bol run she is so fluid and relaxed,she is a natural and her smile and the way she congratulates everyone else is beautiful to see.
Why music? Wouldn't the ambient stadium noise be enough and frankly give a better sense of actually being there?

@@the1-taylorswiftfandom56 Actually it wasn’t. They never got to go up against the US because they screwed up majorly. A messed up baton pass in the four hundred relay is laughable. That’s why we all laughed. Our hearts broke for it, but it happened, and it never should. The Americans are too damn good to lose to anybody. And to get yourself DQ’d for ridiculousness, well, hahaha. There learned. That won’t happen again for another 12 years or so. Memory fades.
Can Femke and the Netherlands ever beat the Americans? Hell no. They aren’t fast enough. That simple.

I have become a fan of her and I hope that one day she will win an Olympic medal. I hope for gold of course. She already have a bronze. She comes across as humble. And always shake hands with everyone after the race whether she wins or not

While I hope you are right, Sydney is also young and still improving. Right now Sydney is as far ahead of Femke, as Femke is the rest of the European field. It is a tough ask, but I look forward to watching them compete.

Your stats are up to date but I'll be proven correct. Are you aware that Bol only took up the event in 2019, and her 52.03 (Tokyo Olympics 2021) was an improvement on the then world record of 52.16? Her performance after two years demonstrated her superior skill level and ability over athletes who had been practicing the art in excess of six years.

I don't know where the commentators get their info but Kazmarek is not the Polish recordholder. That is still the great Irena Szewinska who ran a 49"29 in 1976 ( then the world record )
True. They seem to have forgotten the great Irena Szewinska. The only clean athlete in those days and regularly beating the doped East Germans.
