The mystery deck is straight out of the shining. The back design is the carpet pattern and the tuck and the ace have the hedge maze. That’s awesome!
I was just about to type that. The floor pattern is the back design. The box is the maze from the film. Honestly makes me want to get that deck because The Shining is my favorite horror movie
The deck is called “Overlook”. There is a review on CZcams(search “The Card Guy deck reviews”).

Yes they really are a work of art I love playing cards I have about 50 different decks some never opened and I'm going to buy at least 24 mystery deck when ever they do the once a year thing I need to find out when it is asap

That green “void if removed” maze deck is a Stanley Kubrick “The Shinning” deck!!! SO AMAZING!!!
I said the same thing when I saw the close up of the tuckcase and then the red card “redrum”
And the back design is the carpet design.. amazing

Duuuude I knew it! I literally just posted “that last deck reminds me of the shinning.” The hedge maze, the patterns from the carpet. So sick! it I’ll just remove my comment now. Lol
I've never bought a deck of playing cards in my life, but after watching this video I couldn't resist and immediately went to the website to buy all the ones you recommended.

That void mystery deck is a cool Shining reference. That'd be an awesome deck to have.

My first though also. A great deck with an unforgettable padron form the carpet in the Shinning. The red card also references the "Redrum"

"A deck of cards that isn't open is worth nothing to me." Kudos to that bro. All but the rarest of decks, I feel like I have to open. What is the point of leaving a thing of beauty in its case never to be seen or used, if it's not going to be worth a ton of money?

Yeah, what's the thing with that actually, "not worth if opened"? I'm new to all this. I mean what's the point of having the rarest deck in the world if you never hold it in your hands and keep it in the box forever?
That’s why I get 2 of every deck I own.
I’m going the buy at least 2 decks of everything route... I started with 1st v2 and only bought 1. It’s still in plastic. Don’t know where to check price for that, but someone was selling those for 80$ on ebay or amazon so I haven’t open them yet. They probably aren’t that expensive (?) But you can’t get them anymore from 1st shop.
Bought v3s and v4s black and white versions 2 each though 😀

Loving these decks! The red card in the void deck is known as a postilion in Casinos, it shields the bottom card so that players can't see what it is.

Wow. I had no idea cards could be so beautiful. I love the gilded edges, but I would prefer one of the other cards designs.
I saw they last green box and was like "that kinda reminds me of the hedge maze in the shining", then you flipped the cards over. Mind blown.
That Dan and Dave cards though. . so sad i can only watch it from here. . Makes me want to collect cards but money is an issue. .

I enjoy all of your videos simply because you have been able to keep the wonder and excitement of a child in your approach to everything. I agree the holos were probably planted, but I’m gifted a brick of these every year and everything else he pulled is pretty consistent to what I’ve opened.

Really enjoyed this video, the Anyone deck reminded me of my 24K gold cards with the edge reflecting like that. Not a deck I'd ever play with by any means, but super nice to look at and hold.
