Any game or console restart won’t solve any issue. Rebuilding your database, initialising your PS4, uninstalling stuff and even turning it off won’t solve any error code, lags, freezes and performance issues of your PS4.
There’s only one culprit here: THE 7.50 SYSTEM SOFTWARE UPDATE.
So? We need to wait until the next update?
Iacopo Rusconi Hate to say it but yes. There’s no other way. Believe me I’ve tried all methods but one which was to initialize my PS4.
Though I found a temporary solution which would be reinstalling the 7.50 update at safe mode even though it’s the one that caused this but like I said, it’s temporary. After a game or two, drastic performance issue will start to appear again and you’ll be back to square one.

Thanks bro. My whole entire system is fucked. At first i thought it was just GTA cuz it was really laggy then it got worse and started just freezing and had super low res at times. I looked at the disk and it looks like someone tried to clean it with a brilo pad. I thought it was the disk drive, but I take care of all my disks the same and gta is the only one with scratches. Even older disks arent scratched at all. So now i know its not the disk drive. I bought gta in the play store and im still having the same problems. I redownloaded the update and now my ps wont work at all. Idk what to do

Yes! I have tried everything. Nothing works. I had no idea it was a system update everyone is dealing with. (Update) My PS4 was bricked as eventually it wouldn't even load past the sign-in screen properly. After doing ALL of the troubleshooting "fixes" that I could find, the problem continued to worsen. Finally, I purchased a new hard drive and replaced it. That was the ONLY thing that worked. I lost all current game progress that wasn't backed up, but my PS4 is back to normal (albeit still loud af during certain games).

Afterwards I notice still nothing change except working a little smoother than I re update the system software its working fine now if it doesn't work for u i consider waiting until Sony makes a new update for PS4 if not just take it to get it checked out.

I've tried everything, fully reinstalled the software through a USB, etc. nothing is working. Games will download but won't run, any time the console is off or in rest mode is boots up to an error, not really sure what to do but the console was 100% fine before the update

I'm having problems too. I went to start AC Odyssey and when I came back it was shut down. Tried again but it was loading too long so I asked it to shut the game down and then my system shut itself down again. Tried with another after that where it was fine for a little longer but shut down again. I turned it on again and went to look at the settings and system. It had a single fail code 👆🏼 and I selected it and looked on the internet page it sent me to. Eventually closed the internet and then I had TONS of the fail code. Just managed taking a picture with my phone of it. Now I'm here trying to find a solution and trying my other ps4 (shared). Happened less than 15 minutes ago
UPDATE: (1 hour later)
I got lucky and my console works again. I started it in failmode and installed update 7.50 again.

I can play all my games without any issue. When I play modern warfare and specifically the campaign..the who screen turns black in the middle of a mission. I tried everything except initializing the PS4 pro. Is this and issue with the game or the console. All the other games have no issues at all. Ex: RDR2 and AC odyssey. Any insight please?

Besides the fact ultimately I feel like this is how they try to get everybody to buy the new consul is by releasing an update.. cough cough virus. This is extremely frustrating and honestly I feel like a lawsuit in order considering the fact that they charge me monthly for a subscription to a device that is no longer working because of their programming.

I have some problems with my PS4: Games are lagging, graphics are glitching and the system is sometimes slow or freezes. I rebuild the database, which didn't help. Then I reinstalled the System Software via USB stick. But it did not help and I wonder what's wrong with my PS4. Any ideas?
oh my gosh this actually worked after the 8.00 update. I knew it was strange that Sony would release a big update this late into the Ps4's life. Especially with all the "general bug fixes and improvement" updates that they never go into detail about. I feel terrible for anyone's PS4 that hasn't been able to have a solution. Hopefully something works for you. This makes me wanna stay farther away from the ps5 than want to buy it

I have a good feeling that my hard drive is some how corrupt and not working. My PlayStation starts up and gives me the ce-36 error code and when I launch my user account about 5 seconds later my PlayStation turns off. I don’t really know what to do at this point.

this just started happening with mine, i was playing earlier, opened up youtube and sat on my bed for a few minutes, went back and it was frozen, gave me the error, now i cant even get to settings before it freezes and repeats, restarted ps4, turned it off and unplugged it... im so mad
@@ttapioca8340 what you have to do is go into settings and reformat it. I lost some of my saved data because my stuff wasn’t uploading to the cloud but that was the only thing that worked.

I'm on update 9.0 and i receive this error everytime on startup. My ps4 has this error and crashes, after a few tries it either starts or shuts down. Now, even for trimming video clips it crashes the software with this error. I dont know if it because i replaced my power source few months back, or if the console is dusty inside or something keeps messing with my ssd that i got a few months back.

I bought the ezio collection, went to go onto the notifications part to see how long the download would take. And then my screen went black then it restarted with this error code. I’ll edit this comment if it gets worse or happens again. If I don’t edit it and it doesn’t have any other bad news it’s all good.
Edit: right now it’s 2:23AM (for me) and I booted up ezio collection to see if it would happen again or it would let me open the game. I can say the game fully loaded into the menu. I would also go into the game but I’m tired AF and want to fully experience the ezio collection at its fullest.

Replacement of the HDD fixed the issue, picked one up on Amazon for £20 for a 2TB and it's working like a dream now.

@@nicknick-rv4kn what this guy said is 100% true. If you experiencing the following problems: ps4 lags when you download a game. Main menu screen lags after you leave the ps4 digital store. Ps4 main menu lags randomly and u get the error code ce-36329-3. Or even worse, you dont get an error code but your ps4 stops at a grey screen. Its because the factory hdd is bad by default. Only way to change it buy a new ps4. If it aint so bad you can keep your ps4 like me. In the past 2 year i only had 3 major grey screen crashes but at least 25 crashes with error code ce-36329-3. It aint so bad you have to know when too much is too much. Dont overuse your ps4 and restart it evey 3 hours. Turn it off if you dont use it. Navigate slow on the main screen. If you cant do these things just buy a new ps4 or change the hdd.

I don’t have any issues with any game but as soon as i play cod modern warfare it starts acting up. Ill get a black screen in the middle of a game and if im lucky ill be able to restart or power off the console let alone stop the application if im lucky. All my issues started since the new caldera on cod.
