"It is testified by Herdotus, Plato, Salon, Pythagoras, and Philostratus that the religion of Egypt proceeded from India.

It is testified by Neibuhr, Valentia, Champollian and Weddington that the temples of upper Egypt are of greater antiquity than those of lower Egypt...that consequently the religion of Egypt, according to the testimony of those monuments....came from India.
      --
The chronicles found in the temples of Abydos and Sais and which have been transmitted by Josephus, Julius Africanus, and Eusebius, all testify that the religious system of the Egyptians proceeded from India." Greek author and philosopher Philostratus.
      --
Philostratus says that the gymnosophists ( Hindu sect ) of Ethiopia, who settled near the sources of the Nile, descended from the Brahmins of India. Eustathius states that the Ethiopians came from India, Appolonius states that the Ethiopians were sent from India and in the journal of Alexander the great it says "India as a whole beginning from the north and embracing what of it is subject to Persia, is a continuation of Egypt and the Ethiopians ". “By the pictorial hieroglyphic inscription found on the walls of the temple of the Queen Haslitop (Hatshepsut) at Der-el-babri, we see that this Punt can be no other than India. For many ages the Egyptians traded with their old homes, and the reference here made by them to the names of the Princes of Punt and its fauna and flora, especially the nomenclature of various precious woods to be found but in India, leave us scarcely room for the smallest doubt that the old civilisation of Egypt is the direct outcome of that of the older India.” - Col. Henry Steel Olcott.

" The land of punt in the Egyptian ethnological traditions has been identified by the scholars as the Malabar coast of Deccan ( India ). From this land ebony and other rich woods, incense, balsam, precious metals, ect, used to be imported into Egypt ". German Egyptologist - Friedrich Wilhelm.

"At the mouth of the Indus river dwell a sea faring people, active, ingenious and enterprising as when, ages subsequent to this great movement, these people coast along the shores of Mekran, traverse the mouth of the Persian gulf and again adhering to the sea board of Oman, Hadramant and Yemen, they sail up the Red sea, and again ascending that mighty stream which fertilises a land of wonders found the Kingdom of Egypt, Nubia and Abyssinia. These are the same stock that centuries subsequently to this colonisation, spread the blessings of civilisation over Hellas ( Greece ) and her islands". Edward G Pococke - India In Greece.

The discoveries herein recorded should therefore appeal to the hearts and stir the religious and patriotic feelings of all educated Hindus who desire to know the first-found scientific proofs for the veracity of their Vedas and Ancient Epics (the Puranas), and to learn that their ancestral Vedic kings and sages were famous historical emperors, kings and priest-kings in Mesopotamia with multitudinous monuments still existing there to the present day. It must also be gratifying to the modern Hindus to find that the Vedic and Epic tradition which their ancestors preserved and handed down through the centuries, and in which they have steadfastly believed, is now proven substantially true, and has become a chief means of identifying as Aryans, the Sumerians, Phoenicians and Britons. True! 👍 We sometimes forget, for all our love of ancient Egypt, that it was not an isolated country. There is countless evidence of a connection to other continents and Indian influences can be seen not least in corresponding representations in temples Nubia! Greetings from an Egyptologist 🙂

The naval route of India also could have mentioned where the bulk of trade took place. One of the reasons for not giving credit to Indian knowledge by the Arabs is they bought this by paying gold. One it is bought, the ancient practice is the ownership transferred unlike the present system. All this gold and more were stolen by British and no one gives credit for the stolen stuff. First of all Indian academia shall start recognizing the ancient works of Hindu seers and start teaching in schools. A child is then better equipped to face/challenge the world.

India is connected to the West (in places like America, Europe and Australia) through the Indo-European language family, while India is connected to the East (in places like China, Korea and Japan) through the Indian religion of Buddhism.

You might be interested in a paralell point I made recently:
An interesting argument I have not heard made before is that the Hebrew canon must have begun to be compiled after the late 5th century bce (based on aural traditions from Canaan that are superimposed with a monotheist narrative derived from Persia.)
The reason for this is that historical narratives simply did not exist prior to the time of Herodotus and Thucydides and it is difficult to entertain the idea that the Jews invented this genre. Moreover the appearance of (second temple) Judaism belongs to this time (post exilic period) whereas "Judaism" prior to this time simply seems to have been a species of paganism, albeit the history of the pagan era is then rewritten in the light of monotheistic influence from India via Zoroastrianism (itself a deliberate inversion of Hinduism). Judaism was thus made to appear far older than it really is.
Zoriastrianism represents a deliberate inversion of the hindu pantheon from the time of Cyrus (who occupied the Indus valley in this era) and Judaism represents a furthur extension of this inversion, which is why I refer to Z and the Abrahamic faiths as the shadiw cast by Hinduism.

The outward contact and interaction began long ago from at least the early Harappan period when they began sourcing raw materials from Shahr-i-Sokta in the north. Then we have copper ingots from the Oman peninsula found at Lothal and Harappan acculturation taking place in former! Lots more from West Asian region and Yemen and Egypt too. Along with the material transfer there was human interaction and exchange of knowledge. For years Harappan studies have been stuck with questions about where did the Harappans go after the collapse of civilization. We know that their spectacular pottery and knowledge of pyrotechnology survived in the 1000-year later Northern Black Polished Ware found in the Gangetic doab. Clearly some groups may have traveled westward to lands where they already had established businesses.

Raj Vedam ji, why don't you write a book (History Reference) about all these facts of Ancient Indian (Knowledge & Civilizational) advancements and expansions? Please DO. We (Indians & True knowledge seekers across the world) would be immensely benefited from it. All your knowledge should not go waste. Please publish it in book form or series of videos or any other form, which would be passed on the next generations. Thank You, Citti media for bringing this up !!!❤💥💐🏵🌹🌺🙏🙏🙏

Wondering why when the astronomical evidences are quoted. Shriman Nilesh Oak is never mentioned, who added the most in this area, however kondred elis is mentioned who sometimes can't accept India to be the most ancient. Anyways if Indians continue to be the same as they did when the whole world was/is constantly invading India for ages. Only friction between the Hindu kings led to the decline of India and constantly being invaded. If we do not learn to talk in one voice, we will continue to fail and fall prey to mediocrity of i vs you.

Normally we cite the earliest discoverers, and in this context, I quoted Talageri and Elst for OIT. For proper citation, I should have additionally quoted Bryant, Kak and Kazanas. Indian astronomy has been interpreted since 1700s by many researchers - European and Indian. In your opinion, where in my talk should I have quoted my good friend, NN Oak, and in what context? I have been working on Indian history since 1990, presenting Indian astronomy publicly in my talks from 2014, and have never faced such an absurd demand. Don't create a controversy and a wedge between researchers, where none exists.

      Folks
Please do not create controversies where there exists none. I only came to know of these comments because someone brought them to my attention.
      I will make few points.
      1. Whether lecture or a paper or a book, the presenter or author has a certain goal and s/he may make use of references what s/he is aware of, feels critical to driving that point home.
      2. Many presentations begin with formalities, continue through formalities, and end in formalities without covering anything of importance. If one must accomplish something beyond this, then one must aim for optimum strategy/solution and all optimum solutions are sub-optimal. Someone will always be unhappy about something. Very few are successful or capable of doing it. Most folks play to the gallery.
      3. The number of pro-Indic researchers or presenters is few. Our ecosystem is building but is weak. Most of us (I or Raj included) do not receive any support (we do this on our own dime). Resources are limited and time is limited and much work to do.
      4. Please focus your energies on creating and Swadharma in your own way.
      5. Do your best to create a minimal amount of confusion/delusion among the masses.
      6. If you disagree with something, state clearly what you disagree with, why, and provide your alternate solution - both cases backed by empirical objectively testable, and/or logical evidence.
      Thank you
      Shivoham! Shivoham!
      Warm regards,
      Nilesh Oak

People in the West will keep thinking of us as "street ____ers" as long as we are poor and reliant on their technology. They will even go so far as to say that white people created ancient Indian civilization. In the real world, this is what happens to those who fall down the hierarchy.
