I just love my ultra 2 I would never get rid of mine. It’s not heavy at all and looks amazing
I think that was a big miss for Apple not to include a smaller size Ultra for Women and guys with smaller wrists. Hopefully this year they will include different sizes and colors for the Ultra 3.
I also opted for the aluminum series 9 and have been extremely happy with it. I use the thin plastic screen protectors that you can get from Amazon, and I can’t even tell that it’s there. So far, I’ve only had to replace the screen protector twice, so it’s a small hassle for the large cost savings. Plus, I like that the watch just feels a bit more discreet than the Ultra.
I went a Total different route this time, I use a Garmin epix pro 42mm. I also have a normal series 9. But for now I really love the Garmin.
I’ve owned the ultra 2 for about 5 months and I’m finding for my small feminine wrist it is a bit big. The watch is great and beautiful. Needless to say, I’ve just ordered the 45mm series 9.
i currently have the Series 7. thinking of upgrading to the Series 9 or wait until the next model in September. great video btw!
I have the 41 stainless steel gold with the tan/gold carbon neutral recycled band. I love it. I upgraded from the se I had. And before that I had the series 3.

I did the same thing. I like the 9 stainless more as it’s smaller and does everything I need
I just transitioned from the Galaxy S22 and galaxy watch to the Apple ecosystem a little less than a month ago. And I chose to go with the iPhone 14 Plus in Midnight, the Cellular Apple Watch 9 in Midnight, and then I grabbed the AirPods Pro 2 and some AirTags and MagSafe chargers lol but, I could have very easily gone with the highest tier iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Apple Watch Ultra 2, but the honest reason I went with the 14 Plus and Watch 9 is solely because of the Midnight colorway! I absolutely fell in love with it and I’m not one of those people that absolutely need the latest and greatest to feel adequate lol
I can't sleep at night if I don't have the best apple product I can possible buy lol
I picked up the 45mm Series 9 last August, the basic black version with the sport band. It's my first smart watch, I resisted them for a long time, but I have to admit I've been really pleased with it.
I still wearing AW Ultra everyday, I own S9 as well. I use them at home and for sleep measuring. For all day GPS activity measuring I use Garmin Epic Gen 2. I like all these gadgets. They are different but top in their class.
I just did the same. I had convinced myself I was okay with how large it was but after a year of having a weight on my wrist I decided to switch. So far I love my S9!

Good video, I’d go a little bit lower though, like Series 8 or Watch SE but Series 9 also a good change instead for the Ultra

Autonomy is the best choice to keep in mind, don't trust anybody speaking about old series. Pick ur ultra 2 and have fun with 2 days & half autonomy. Ciao bella xoxo
I get the Ultra seems too large for some. I went with the Ultra 2 because of battery life primarily as I do multiple workouts a day. Durability of materials so I don’t feel the need to use a protective cover and destroy the aesthetic design Apple intended. On myself the Ultra looks normal and not overly large.
I feel like 45 mm of series 9 doesn't seem that bigger this year..maybe it's a little more rounder than series 7 and 8
I did the same thing the ultra is over kill. my apple watch series 9 works perfect for me
I’m still using the Series 6 with a clip on case to protect the screen. Still works fine. :)

I think the 41mm would suit your wrist size better, the 45mm looks a bit big. I like the clay wrist band, looks like it can go with any outfit !

I am still using an AW series 4.
I was going to go with the ultra, then changed my mind and was going to do the stainless steel series 9. However, I went with the regular series 9 Apple Watch and I am sooooo happy with my decision. I honestly feel like I would’ve regretted my decision if I would’ve went with either of the other two.

The ultra Apple Watch on cellular version battery life is horrible without Bluetooth I still have to charge it everyday

Nice video! I had and returned the Ultra as well for similar reasons.
Had the AW7 SS, bought the AW1. Sold the AW1 after a while and returned to the old AW7. Too big and bulky. Couldn’t be used as a dress watch.
I got the Series 9 (pre-ban) for Christmas. Love it!
I'm a pretty big guy and the Ultra still just seems too big BUT I can't deny what a good investment it is for the super-active and athletes - I'm neither. I've got the 44mm 8-SE and it does everything I need it to do. I would keep it but the 10 is supposed to come with a BP sensor and for me, that's worth the upgrade.

Both are pretty but I think the silver one is more neutral than the starlight.
I disagree with your choice. The ultra 1 is my watch of choice. I also have the series 9 which I wear occasionally but always come back to the ultra. You could have kept them both you know. No law against having 2 apple watches.
I disagree with your comment. It makes ZERO sense to keep two apple watches, and the regular series 9 is far more comfortable to wear than the ultra. I also find ultra’s design quite ugly, but looks are subjective.
