The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is Almost Perfect

- The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is Almost Perfect. This is my first Apple Watch Ultra, I've previously owned a series 4 and a series 7. Both of those watches were great for daily use and short workouts here and there, but they had a lot of flaws which drove me insane. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 really improves on everything from GPS data, battery life, screen size, and overall build quality. It's almost perfect, but there is a huge issue which really makes it hard to recommend to a certain group of people.

Im a female and I love the large size. It doesn’t feel heavy and I love the display
I upgraded from a Series 1 to the Ultra 2 and honestly I couldn’t be happier.
Now that is one huge upgrade! What made you choose the ultra 2 over a series 9?
@@ChrisWilmshurst I figured with longevity in mind, the ultra will probably out last the regular 9 over time.. but that’s just me..
Like for example, the battery life is insane, in low power mode I have been able to go a full 5 days without charging it
@@ChrisWilmshurstI had the series 4 and got the ultra 2 a couple months ago! Best watch ever! I got the blue ocean band with it and now just bought the green alpine band!!
@@2bizzygaming13liar 😂
@@jesmond5562 I bet it’s true in low power mode. Even regular mode with Siri off, always on display off, app refresh off on most apps not needed etc., you can get 3-4 days battery life. I think the latest watchOS might be part of that as well that optimizes battery life. I get amazing battery life, I had the UW1 for 3 months and now UW2, battery life seems better, but they also releases a new/big OS version release in the past few months.
Just purchased ultra 2 two weeks ago and I love it
I’ve had a Series 1, 4 and now Ultra 2.
My mum was using my super old Series 1 up until I upgraded from my Series 4 to the Ultra 2. Fantastic upgrade. Great screen, battery life and user experience.
I do no extreme sports, but still very much prefer this over the non-ultra watches.
Great to hear!
Got an Ultra 2 just after Christmas. Had an Apple Watch before but never really took to it. Loving the Ultra 2! It’s great.
The old design really was a bit bland wasn’t it
@@ChrisWilmshurstyeah it was bland. And the watch was never quite big enough for my wrist, in hindsight. The Ultra fits me perfectly and the screen is fantastic. Love it.
I am not an outdoor person but I just like a big watch and all the safety features it has.
i’ve had series 1,4,7 and now ultra 2. i love it, couldn’t be happier with it!
Love to see it!
I only have text/calls come to my watch. Nothing else. AOD is turned off. My watch looses about 10-15% when I’m out all day WITH my phone. When I leave without my phone I lost about 12% during an 8 hour outing. This thing is a beast. Love the ultra 2.
Do you have a cellular plan? I didn’t think that being tied to your phone would kill that extra 3% of battery!
I override that optimized charge most of the time. I’ve noticed that certain fabric interferes sometimes. In the one mountain bike group I’m in, that fall detection was mentioned going off when some would go off jumps.
I’m glad I’m not the only one the fall detection effects
Nice video. After watching this I was convinced to buy one! Watch on order as we speak!
Just got mines today and I love it. I’m a big guy so it’s not a problem with the size at all. Definitely an upgrade from my series 5.
I just got the ultra 2. Upgraded from a series 2 and I love it! The battery, the cellular? It’s so fast and crisp.
You got one hell of an upgrade! Enjoy it
Love mine as well.
Hey, ace video! I'm currently a Samsung user and Garmin fenix 6s.. I'm due an upgrade and debating moving over to Apple and this watch? I also do a lot of biking at Bike parks etc, any recommendations on switching?
If you’re in the Apple ecosystem I go with an Apple watch, but if you’re on an android and want much better battery life and less of the bells and whistles, look into garmin, a few of my friends ride with them and they’ve got no complaints
Ahahah I'm about to make the same choice. Gonna switch to iPhone and swap the fneix 6s pro for an uktra
I guess I've always liked big watches (I'm pretty sure I don't have a big wrist), it doesn't feel uncomfortable at all to me and I'm coming from a series 3 42, it somehow feels less heavy granted it has a steel band on it and I have this thing totally titanium atm, I've found it seems to gauge earning calorie burn alot harsher which has helped me getting my weight decrease starting again.
I’ve had a 2,4,6 and now the Ultra 2, absolutely love it!
love the ultra 2
On your video you have optimized charge limit turned off. Do you usually keep it off?
No no, I only bypass it when I know I’m going to be out doing long outdoor activities the following day. I keep it on if I’m only going to be going to work and then coming home after
@@ChrisWilmshurst gotcha. I guess my watch just thinks I need a full charge everyday
I upgraded from the SE and am very happy. I have very small wrists and debated about it being too large on my wrist. I would never have thought I would wear a watch this large. So many people wear smart watches now that I don't think the size is an issue. What I love about it is the large screen. I also got it because of the battery life and the fact that it's not going to get scratched up. I'm also not an outdoor extremist but I use the apple fitness app all the time. I love the action button. I also think it does a much better job tracking my sleep and recognizing when I am standing. It was well worth the extra money for me.
I love that despite the fact you worried it was too big, you still went with it. Glad it’s working out for you
Same/same! I also got a $330 credit toward the Ultra 2 with my carrier. This is more than I paid for the original SE, so I couldn’t pass it up. I love the durability and added features.
Do you know your wrist size? I’m about 5.3 inches and I’m wondering if it would be too large for me. I also want it to last longer and be scratch resistant.
@@rosab6259 I’m a medium with about a 6.7” wrist
@@ChrisWilmshurst Thank you 😊 I’ll have to go to the store and see if the small fits me. I’m kid size in shoes and everything 😅
Just got this one. It’s been a pain in the butt to find Apple Watches but managed to get an Ultra 2. Excited to start using it. Also started with the Series 1 then went with Series 5 and now Ultra 2. I really only upgrade when the battery health drops to a point it doesn’t last even a day.
How come there was an issue getting one? Is the ban still in effect?
@@ChrisWilmshurst I don’t know specifically now. But last update I saw was like it was lifted then it was banned again. Dunno if it’s related to that or not. But at least where I am (Europe) only found one store with one unit in stock around me, and dude was like “we have one but it comes exclusively in a set for ≈ $990!” And I ask what else is in the set, employee says “Apple watch ultra 2 + 4 year warranty extension” 😂
Sure he knew they weren’t easy to come by and mofo was trying to upsell me in store services!
So knowing he had one in stock but no clue in which band colour+size combo, I went outside the store, sat down on a bench and went to their website. When you order online there’s an option to pick up the article “immediately” in a store near you, if they have it in stock. So I went trough all size/ colour option till the option that said “not available in this store” changed to “can be picked up immediately”. Order it without the extra warranty extension option and 10 minutes later I was asking the same dude to go get my watch. Was not the wrist band I wanted but doesn’t matter I can still use any of the current ones I already had. I really just wanted to rub it on his face, coz I took some time off of work to go there earlier.
How do you get your watch to stop charging at 80%. Mine always charges to full. I have optimized charge limit turned on.
I think it learns your battery charging and usage behaviour, as I haven’t touched mine and it always comes on.
@@ChrisWilmshurst oh okay. Thanks. I’ve had both an ultra 1 and 2 and they both always charge 100%. I guess the software just thinks I need the watch charged to 100% every day even though I only use about 30-40% in a day.
I took the series 9 to take out my series 5, this is totally different ! I did unable always on as it’s distracting a lot and I don’t truly care about, with the series 9, without a lot of things to do, a chill weekend, I can do the entire weekend without charging !!!
I don’t run for the “I want the greatest battery life” as I do recharge while showering or preparing through morning so I have always a 30 minutes window to charge.
So from Saturday 10:25am to Sunday 8:00pm from 100 to 10% easy ! And this is insane, I can’t imagine with the same use with an ultra 2
I dwelled months ago about “garmin or Apple Watch” and Apple Watch won just because of safety features that I already used few days after having my series 9 ! (thank you siri and double tap !)
Nice tips, I never used a watch for sleep either, great video
The watch is amazing as an alarm. It is so much easier to wake up to gentle haptics than blaring audio.
Went from 6 to Ultra 2 a few days ago, double autonomy and fast charging in 30' from 12% to 50% and 100% in 80'.
More defined and bright display, very readable both in the dark and in bright sunlight. I thought it would be heavier and bulkier, but it's perfect for my wrist.
Very accurate GPS, and is much faster throughout. Three days of battery life are fantastic finally!!!❤️
Sounds like the perfect upgrade for you!
I have a small wrist and love the ultra 2
Ive been looking at this watch to use when mtbing as well so I don't have to carry a phone. Had a big OTB onto my head today and was ok but if seriously injured the crash detection would have been great.
I’d recommend it, but if you’re not going to carry your phone, make sure you get yourself a cell plan otherwise you’ll not be able to contact anyone.
Stay safe 🙏
The watch is fantastic! I just upgraded from a Series 7 to a 1st gen Ultra and its a fantastic watch in comparison. I agree that it is the Watch to get if you can afford it. I would add that people upgrading should upgrade to a 1st gen Ultra like I did as its significantly cheaper and is about 95% the same watch. The double tap feature seems a bit gimmicky and the faster processor is a pretty useless feature for a wearable (except for maybe futureproofing). To me the price of the 1st gen Ultra makes it a very compelling Watch over the Ultra 2.
And I’m pretty sure you can do sometime similar to double tap in the accessibility settings on the ultra 1!
I never use it
I have the ultra 1 upgraded from series 5 I love it ❤
Ordered mine last night.
I’m happy with mine
my first apple watch is the Ultra 2 and I am very happy with the purchase ..
That’s what we like to hear!
im not an extreme athlete but I do runs, i swim, i hike and i free dive.. and its an awesome companion
Sounds to me like you do a lot of spots though, so you’ve made the right choice. Especially with free diving!
@@brucecrescencio same ⌚️👍💯💛
I have an Apple Watch Series 6 and I upgraded to the Apple Watch ultra 2 and it fits my wrists very comfortably.
Absolutely 💯 agree 👍
It fits mine perfectly too!
I had a question what app do you use for your bike trails to keep track of ?
I use Strava
Can you see the screen in dark environment? I had hard time seeing the screen due to auto dimming and there is no manual setting to override the feature.
Yeah I can see it perfectly fine!
There should be a setting to make it go red to make it easier to see if that helps, you can try increasing the brightness
What’s crazy about my particular situation: I purchased the 41mm series 8 in stainless steel gold with Apple’s OEM gold mesh bracelet. Reason: whilst I was interested in the ultra, I find it too large and masculine in appearance. The crazy part: my watch is only about $50 cheaper than the ultra.
I do hope Apple releases a smaller ultra, and until then, I’ll be sticking to the stainless steel models with sapphire. It’s superior to the base models, yet smaller and more elegant in appearance compared to the large, rugged ultra. It’s a nice middle ground.
Chris, your videos flow extremely well and are paired with fantastic video. I’m jelly.
Thank you Jerry! But you’ve got nothing to be jealous of, your videos are great!
Honestly the alienation is a two way street for the size ! I’m a bigger guy and I have big hands and sausage fingers so for things like iPhone I always gotta get the biggest size available and bigger is more . I’m gonna be getting an Apple Watch for the first time ever next week and gonna go with the ultra2 since it’s the biggest . I’m also really active and will use while hiking , running , biking and exploring so it’ll probably be a good thing to have something durable . Thanks for the awesome video ! I feel better about getting it now for reasons beyond it just being the biggest !
Glad the video helped you man. You’ll love it for activities!
Is it possible to keep the screen from becoming darker when I turn my wrist away from me?
Depends, if you have an app on, you can go to settings, choose the app, and then choose to keep the app on. “İf I am correct that is”
@@seloob2345 I only have the regular clock face background function, no seperate app.
I had apple watch since the 1sr one and I have never ever had a problem with the GPS telling me where I was.
You’re lucky! Mine was frequently incorrect out in the forests I ride my bike at
I wonder if I should have picked this up vs the series 9. 🤔
I’d say if you have enough expendable income to justify it, absolutely. Better battery life, screen, and build quality
One of the best reviews of the ultra that I’ve seen. Very practical. Sub earned.
Thank you! I appreciate the view and very thankful for the sub 👏
I love the Ultra 2 especially the large size, battery life and features.
I love that you love it
I got one to have less time with my phone
I think it is designed for people who want the most sophisticated device available today. Workout style is just a bonus. The presenter is talking like the only reason to have the watch is if you are an extreme athlete. I think he is missing the point in what the watch is.
AUW1 for the win. I tested The auw2 and honestly I didn’t see much of difference but the price.
I mean, they’re priced the same on release, but you’re right. If you’ve already got the version 1, it’s not worth upgrading for a brighter screen, faster processor and slightly better battery.
Leaving a comment for QOTSA =) Also I have a Series 8 and just ordered the Ultra 2! Want to say that I ride a lot on my sur ron and fall a lot haha. I've only had the watch go off when I went OTB going down hill and had the bike slam in to me leaving me pinned lol Lucky my buddy was just ahead on the trail and helped me out.
So we’ve got the complete opposite problem! Mine goes off too much, yours doesn’t go off at all unless it is a major crash 😅
My wife wears this as do I, and it is in no way too big. I wish it were a bit larger as I love using G Shocks.
I got series 4 is it worth upgrading.."
100% you could even save money and get away with a ultra 1!
@@ChrisWilmshurst well I can get discount on ultra 2 which would mean ultra 2 would be 75£ more then ultra1 would it be worth it?

I like the ruggedness mainly since I work outside at a car wash for 12 plus hours a day
Its large for a good reason. The extra real estate allows for more information. If its too big for you, that's fine, get something else. For the rest of us we can enjoy the visual experience.
If you belong in Apple ecosystem this is the best watch ever:Ultra 2… you can use this watch from air land and underwater…you can’t compare this to other watches in the market right now in regards to its iconic design, quality, features, technology and value for money….I’m happy to have this Ultra join forces together with my IPhone 15 Pro Max and AirPods Max ❤❤❤…
I think you can compare it to offerings from Garmin, but it is the best Apple Watch
@@ChrisWilmshurst Garmin is far behind from Ultra 2….
Garmin is a better sports watch/ fitness watch by a mile with some smartwatch features and the AWU is bar the best smartwatch on the planet with not bad sport features. I have the garmin epix 2 and the AWU 2 .
The GPS is so accurate that it's finds my parked car or my Iphone within a milimeter difference. Also workouts like step and running is 100% accurate.. Health measering looks accurate and even inside the house the GPS is fast and accurate..
I fall into an even smaller niche as I spend a significant portion of my time gaming on my PC. All of my workouts are done at home (a vast majority being on Fitness+). The big sell for me was being able to use this is a back up dive watch. I've been diving since 2007 and while I don't get to do it as often as I'd like, the ocean can be violent and unpredictable. I don't think I'd take any other consumer market device with me besides the Ultra 2. Even though it's max operating depth is 130ft, the housing is safe up to around 300ft. This means that if I'm doing anything technical or should I incur a decompression obligation my Apple Watch can still make the trip.
Do I use it like that 7 days a week? No. It mostly sees use as a controller for my phone and as a way to quickly view messages and notifications. I would point out that the Ocean Band hasn't been great for diving. It only comes in one size and it's far too small to put over the sleeve on my wetsuit that already has my Shearwater Perdix strapped to it.
I think the fact you go diving makes this watch tailored to you!
What is that band?
It’s the alpine loop
You didn’t have to put me on the spot 😂😂
What did I do?? 😅
switched in decembre from Samsung watch 4 to Ultra 2, now I regret it. My frustrations with the Apple watch ultra 2 which costs almost twice as much as a Samsung watch: can't change the volume in Airpods on the watch, can't hear workout feedback while listening to music on Airpods, can't have the sleep function turned on without Sleep focus, no blood pressure option, oxygen sensor is in dispute, in the Health app where the watch sends data you have tons of useful information only on first read but can't hide once you've read it, two Health and Fitness apps where Samsung only has one. If you never had a Samsung watch, I'm sure Apple watch is perfect. Otherwise.... you'll miss a lot of good stuff available on a basic Samsung watch.
You can change the volume of AirPods on the watch… you use the crown…
But if you dislike it so much, you should switch back?
@ChrisWilmshurst oh well, it doesn't work. I use CZcams music and just tested it again, it doesn't work. Of course, I'll switch back, I'm looking for quality and usability, not the company name. I got caught up in the pro-Apple wave and all the CZcams reviews that turned out not to match the reality I experienced.
I always have the water lock on. But I am a swimmer, too...
Makes sense 😅
@@ChrisWilmshurst True! Thanks for the video!
The thing which keeps me from buying this watch is the battery life. Max 3 days!! I wearing a Garmin Fenix 5 which is around 5 years now, and have to recharge it every 6 days.
Nothing can beat a garmin when it comes to battery life, it all depends if you want the extra smartphone like features. I don’t wear my ultra to sleep, so I’ve got no issues chucking it on charge every few days
Also the wireless charging is very fast. While i shower and prepare myself for the day, the ultra is charging to 100%.
I’ve seen so many women happily wearing the ultra watch. I’ll be buying one myself soon.
Good to know! Obviously my small sample pool is not indicative of everyone’s experience. But it’s what I’ve experienced
I just purchased mine 2 weeks and I’m a tiny 5’2 woman with small wrists BUT I am loving this watch on myself!! Go for it❤❤❤
Who the hell asks other people if they can try on their watch. I had a tide watch when I was younger and it was big like the ultra and friends liked it but no one ever asked me to try it on.
Funnily enough, people in the workplace who are looking at buying a new smart watch. I’ve got no issue with letting them try it on, I’m not petty or going to judge someone for asking.
6:58 I took that personally.
🤣🤣
I hope the Ultra 3 will be more brutal and thicker!
Sorry to disappoint, but there’s nothing brutal about wearing an Apple Watch 🤣🤣🤣.
😂.. totally agree!
I’m going from a series 3 to an ultra 2 and I’m really keen
It’s a huge upgrade!
There is no issue with the size of the Apple Ultra. It's a purpose-driven watch designed for the outdoors, adventures, cycling, diving, and more. Plus, it's still smaller than my G-Shock Mudmaster.
Thank you for speaking on behalf of every person with a small wrist. I’m sure you really captured every single persons opinion. 👌
Don't agree. You don't need to try it on. It can fit anyone. If you want one, order one and the next day to an Apple store and pick it up.
I love my ultra 2 watch. Now I am waiting for Apple ❤to make a smart ring💍 and foldable 📱 phone. Come on Apple ❤wake up and smell the ☕️ coffee
Well like you said this watch is made for outdoor , cold, hot, dust, dive, clime , bike , gym name it I use it when I go fishing , so apple did a grate job making a watch for out door (where everything is rough, bigger stronger )dudes like us not for sisi’s walking around with LV , GC,Rolex etc…. 😂😂😂 give me a break
I don’t understand people saying it’s heavy.
Not everyone lifts
I got my ultra 2 trading my series 4
Straight swap? Or money on top too?
The main problem is if they make the watch smaller it won’t have all the same great features the battery won’t be the same. The screen size will be smaller so you’ll see less which is the whole purpose of the screen being so big so you can see more and have more screen real estate, it’s perfect the way it is and I know women that wear the watch and deal with the fact that it’s big women like big things L O L
I think your concerns about alienating people with smaller wrists aren’t really a factor. The markets the Ultra was created for are those more extreme users such as divers, backcountry hikers/backpackers, ultra marathon runners, etc. With divers and backpackers in particular the dive computers and GPS watches they’ve been using are already huge and in many cases bigger than the Ultra. It was made to actually integrate this category of consumers, not alienate women/men with smaller wrists. It’s not designed to be a replacement to the regular series of watch (regardless of the fact most people who own it probably don’t need the features) as the ultra occupies a pretty specialized niche
All though I agree with you, consumers don’t follow logic like that and people will want the better product and I know many people who like the ultra, but do not partake in any sort of extreme outdoor activity, but won’t buy it due to the size.
@@ChrisWilmshurst Agreed on your points as well! My thought is Apple probably knows they are probably losing some sales on the size factor but likely don’t care too much. They’re capitalizing on a market Apple Watch wasn’t present in before so the extra loss in potential sales probably isn’t a major factor in future development of a smaller Ultra since it’s not really catered to these people.
the main problem with it is in 5 years time it will be in
the bin , buy a decent mechanical watch and it will be
going up in value and still working after the ultra plus ,
the ultra plus plus , the ultra plus ultra super , and
apple ultra super plus super dooper plus .................
100% agree with your take, however. I’m not interested in a watch as an investment piece and I actually use it for the fitness aspect more. If I didn’t, I wouldn’t own any smart watch.
This is why we recycle things.
The downside of the apple Watch is that I can’t pickup whatsapp voice calls on the watch and it doesn’t even notify me if someone is calling me on whatsapp. Also I don’t even see the reason why people spending money on Ultra or Ultra 2 since series 9 is almost perfect for 90-95% of the users
I agree that it’s perfect for 90-95% but the additional battery life is a huge positive
I still like stainless steel frame. ❤
Me too!
The price at circa $1000 is silly to be honest for a watch that needs charging every 2-3 days even when features are not used. Huawei flagship watches (like the Watch 4) have equal features, double the battery life (all features enabled), cost half the price and look stunning in terms of craftmanship (rather than expensive gadgets).
I’m not sure where you’re looking at buying them from but they retail at £800 and are usually on sale from about 700-750. We’ll have to disagree on the looks.
I paid my Ultra 2 €799 a few days ago…
@@DREAMREC0RDER There's always discounts like with everything else. The Ultra 2 is no longer a new watch. Got my GT3 Pro last year for 250, can't beat that value for the money. And I get 10-12 days on each charge.
@@georgemavrides3434I agree it's overpriced, but the Huawei doesn't have a blood oxygen sensor and it's guaranteed to s spy on you and report back to China. I ran a program called Netguard on a Huawei phone and it was constantly sending data to China.
A watch made for sports, called ultra, without GPX import/Export, Topo maps everywhere, and with a short battery life compared to the competition. Sad. I will wait for a real version and not a Beta version
You’ll be waiting at least ten years.. that’s how long it’s taken to get this far with the ultra 😅 I’d recommend a garmin!
However there are third party apps that allow you to import gpx
Hardly perfect. I bought my Apple Ultra watch about 15 months ago, and I find it difficult to control, unpredictable, finnicky.
For eg, a software update eliminated the one-swipe ability to check battery level. I'd return my watch if I could.
I’d suggest selling it if you can’t get along with it or set a complication for your battery
At the end of the day, you cannot please everybody. Some will say its too big, some will say the size is just fine. Everyone has its own oponion and issues on things. If you like it, buy it. If not, find another watch.
I never got an Apple Watch because I thought they looked a bit feminine but the Ultra is more masculine.
Not going to judge anyone for a style of watch, but if you think the ultra is more masculine and you want one, go for it.
I was just thinking how this watch appeals to women. I have a skinny wrist for a guy and it’d probably look funny on me, but woman tend to be so much smaller than us.
A lot of people like larger watches, regardless if it looks silly or not. So it’s completely up to the wearer.
Interesting sleep tracking perspective. Disagree but okay. Get ya.
If anyone has interest in listening to music while working out this may be the worst watch on the planet. Apple Music, Spotify and Apple Podcasts all are nearly impossible to get to function properly without bringing your phone along for the ride. Soooooo frustrating.
The Galaxy Watch From Samsung Is Bigger Than The Ultra So If A Big Watch Is To Big They Have The Series 9 Just Like If The Pro Max Is Too Big For You Get The Pro Version The Ultra Watch Was Made For Outdoor adventurous Consumers Rock Climbers Mountain Hikers And I Don’t Do None Of That And I Bought It Just For The Size And I Have No Complaints It ‘s Not For Everybody
It’s not for everybody no, but if you’re comfortable wearing it’s larger size I can’t suggest people avoid it because it’s not designed for them. It’s much better than the 9!

Do women even wear
This as it seems to be a watch for men
My comments suggest they do
Because some things are just made for men
Except this isn’t.
They do have smaller size watches, its called the Series 9. I think this thing about only one size is nonsense, it is already a small device packed with so much. If they were to make it smaller, they would have to skimp out on what makes it ultra. Do you want them to call it the ultra lite? wtf
What a ridiculous comment. They already have two size that have equal specs (excluding screen size)with the series 9. There’s no reason they could not do the same with the ultra to accommodate those with smaller sized arms.
The only thing that makes it ultra is it being made from titanium and a the action button. Outside of that, it’s almost identical spec wise to a series 9.
@@ChrisWilmshurst its called ultra because of battery capacity and screen size. These are the things they would have to skimp out on if they made it smaller.
Why isn’t this obvious for you to see?
You want apple to make the screen smaller and give it the same ultra moniker which clearly it would no longer deserve because the big screen is what makes it ultra.
41 to 45mm : series 9
49mm is the requirement for the user experience of the best in class (from apple perspective) smart watch - Ultra 2

I love the watch! But several women I’ve spoken to do too, but they say it’s too big. Obviously not all feel this way, but from my small sample pool it’s the general concern
