You can connect your headphone in your tv, if it has bluetooth. I do this with the xm2, but you cant use the mic.
You can. Buy Bluetooth dongle either using optical port or jack audio. Mine work marvel via optical port.

My salary is not that big and it just happened that when I went to the mall, Sony products on sale. Even though the mdr xb 55ap earphones are already expensive for me, I still tried it and so far, its the best earphones I've bought.

Yes two devices at once but not the Sony Playstation 4and probably not the ps5 and Sony make that too.
Don't quote me on this, but i'm pretty sure m3 can already do that "listen from other device, take phonecall" thing. I thought it wasn't supposed to be able to do that, that is what surprised me when it actually happened.

I watched this video like 2 months ago and ended up getting the XM-4’s. I came back to write a review because that’s how good they are. I previously had the Bose QC II’s. They were really good, but I constantly had issues connecting to my (Samsung) TV which was super frustrating. And the battery didn’t last particularily long. The Sony’s beat them in almost every way possible. Connects to my TV and phone instantly and without issue, and the sound quality is almost unbelievable. I can listen to a song I’ve heard a hundred times and it feels like I’m listening to new music because I hear so much quality that I never heard before. I even hear sounds in the background that I don’t think that the studio meant to record. The ONLY place where the Bose’s are better is the comfort of the ear pads. The Sony’s aren’t firm enough and make a slight crinkly sound when you move your head. I don’t know how you have an oversight like that when designing headphones but here we are. The Bose’s are firm but comfortable and feel cooler around your ears.
So. The Sony’s are absolutely amazing if you can afford $500 (CDN) for headphones. But about the earpads... does anyone know where you can get more comfortable replacements?
Here in Australia 🇦🇺 I manage to score the XM4 from Sony store directly for a damaged carton (very very lightly crushed in one corner, but everything in box and still plastic sealed) for $150USD soooo stoked!
Glad that they included the function that allows you to connect to multiple devices at once - that's actually such a key function, I cant wait to try the noise cancellation on these headphones - the XM3 already had some of the best ANC out there
The XM3s already supported connecting to two devices. Not sure why reviewers keep saying this is a new feature.

Good clear review. I think I'm going to have to try them and see if the higher-range noise cancelling makes a significant difference; for me, that was the most interesting upgrade you mentioned.

Test the call quality. This was the reason I got the NC700 over the MX3. The MX3 mic was terrible.

Could just be his experience. I found call quality to also be perfectly adequate. That being said I find build quality really poor with the hinges and I'm a little afraid it's exactly the same in the XM4s
As much as i enjoyed this review, I cant deny the fact that the call quality was terrible on xm3, and still is...
Its a real fker when u have to get your headset off to accept a call for a better quality chat.
The first ones was trash indeed but after a month or two they actually fix it. I use the warranty and they send me a better one with a really good call quality.

I have the 700 over 6 months now. Replaced it twice - still have lots of issues. Battling the store for a refund. 700 is s***. Check their forums. What a mistake it was to buy Bose 700.

Apple only support a decade old technology codec.
This Sony set SHINES when paired with an LDAC supported source.

Guardian Leopard doesn’t connect wirelessly, but can connect via headphone jack. The mic also won’t work which is really unfortunate; the sound for single player games is god-tier though. In general the mic is pretty poor as well; usable, but just not very good.
I don't have the xm3, should I buy the new one (xm4) or the xm3?
@@nesto9889 Depends on what you value. If you can justify the price difference for a way better mic, and being connected to your phone and laptop at the same time ( mainly so you don't have to disconnect and connect and hold buttons every time you want to switch devices), go for the xm4's. Huge quality of life improvements, because that's all that bring the xm3's down. The auto pause play on the xm4's is useful as well, but more of a plus for the xm4s and not a downside of the m3's.
If you only ever use one device and have to make a call on your headphones once in a blue moon; the m4's improvements won't mean much so go for the m3's.
That being said, the m3's are also marked down quite a bit and it's much easier to justify their price at that, compared to the m4's. So if the m4's are juuuuust a tad too expensive for your liking, the m3's are 95% of the way there for only 70% of the cost.

Well, I have the XB65BT and, I must say there is no competition for the same price range. BOSE is REALLY expensive and it does pretty much the same... I can´t even imagine what this headphones can do. Without hesitation, I would recommend SONY

This headphone model has gotten better yearly. I have the m2 and I have to say that it truly is one of the best Sony has ever made. If you put the m, m2, and m3 next to each other ....
Still that multi pairing is a good enough reason to tempt me to dip my foot into that Sony pond again 😂
They’re too bass heavy
M2 has way better build quality that M3 and feels more premium. M3 makes a lot of plastic noise but more lightweight and comfortable. I had both of them.

@@aleknorton7376 Good. Just make sure you use black tape for headbands to prevent them from cracking. Mine cracked today. Use it at the top and the bottom of the both headbands (left and right).

I heard you can adjust how sensitive it is. You could make it so you have to talk louder before it activates. So you can sing but just don't get too loud or it'll activate.

@@ac5197 Multipoint and way better ANC when it comes to voices are major upgrades for a lot of people. I returned the XM3 initially because of it as I need to playback from my phone and PC seamlessly...no multipoint no sale. The improved ANC is great as well! I expect the XM3 leftovers will go down to 150$ in no time as they are not competitive.

Well appreciate your review sir. I am currently in the market for wireless headphones. You have now completely helped me with some questions I had about them. Just one other topic you didn't touch upon was the volume control. And how much of a pain it might be to turn them down when needed to. What is your Opinion about the volume controls. Is the touch slider sometime unresponsive??
8:25 If the call quality is the same, then as much as I want to jump on these I think I'll have to pass it up and wait for Bose's response, since if it is the same as the XM3 then it is a poor microphone for calls. Shame you couldn't provide a recording of what the microphone sounded like for comparison's sake.
It's because the audio codec is limiting quality to mono
hey, the review is wrong in imo, go watch arron is loud and wireless comparison of the two headphones call quality, xm4 is way better
I recommend you watch other reviews i saw them mentioning much better calling audio quality. And they provided tests to showcase that when compared to xm3

I definitely recommend you do, I had a pair of beats before and I can say with total confidence, in absolutely MUCH MUCH happier with a pair of Sonys like this one, that's my opinion doe, you won't be disappointed

Love my XM2 but sony needs to make the build more durable. My headband is cracked after 2 years of use. For a headphone product this expensive there's no reason why they shouldn't last 5 years or more.

I had my XM2’s for 2.5 years and it’s still good.
I had the Sony Extra Bass headphones before that and the headband on that one cracked.
Learned my lesson after that. 🤣
well maybe you need to learn how to take care of it, most of electronic products are fragile, even that expensive iphone would crack with a single drop lol
How are they on cold weather? That's why I was hesitant on getting the XM3
Haven't had an issue with cold weather and I wore them through winter last year 0 to -20 c.
I live in Norway and used them through the winter. No issues.

7:55 I don’t think it’s that great that years later the sound quality hasn’t been improved, bit disappointing even if all the smaller changes are good.
I have the Beyerdynamic Lagoon ANC and the sound quality is abobe de rest. Bose, Sony and even Sennheiser are below in terms of sound quality. The Bose and Sony have better ANC but not much to get the sound quality of the Lagoon away. If have the opportunity try the Lagoon
Bigger ear cups and better ear cushioning aswell as multi device bt connectivity those r big upgrades

MrPirateking619 well technically no since even before the xm3’s were released the Bose qc35 iis had multipoint Bluetooth connectivity and as for the ear space and cushioning, it was never really a problem since the xm3’s were really spacious and had just enough padding
@@nightmare_fnm6506 exactly Bose had it Sony didn't and that's wat turned som people off Sony but now Sony is offering multi device connectivity ear cushioning and ear cups not being big enuff was written in many reviews alsoany people mentioned in reviews the headphones weren't built well as in it squeaks while folding and eventually it falls apart will need to see if that's been improved

I am listening in 1kxm3 and these head phones are amazing. Only drawback is it doesn’t not automatically pairs between 2.
