Bro the problem with these headphones is that Sony made them too good! I'm still using my wh1000xm2 headphones and I still love them after like 3 years. Can't justify the upgrade yet

Sadly for me the ambient sound call quality suck on the XM4, I still Use the Crusher ANC for calls and Ambient sound, now the XM4s are the best sounding headphones I ever had, not Audiophile sound exactly but the EQ helps a ton, also the Bass is so good that it doesn't need to be all the way up, the XM4s taught me what good bass is.
Im getting these tmorrow… so excited!!!!! ( i couldnt be arsed to wait for m5s)

I don't like the wf series one bit because of the mountains of technical issues but so far wh xm series has been the most reliable piece of technology I've owned. It's simply the best and I cannot recommend it enough. Hope it's as as good to you as the mdr 1000x was. Good luck man.

Great review. I have had these a couple months and really enjoy them. These are travel/commuting headphones and they are brilliant in that role. The sound is fun and engaging. Good audiophile headphones start at around this price so for all the features these have I think they are great value for money. I find that I use mine at home too rather than switch on an amp and plug in my wired cans. They are so much more convenient.

@@karangurung5119 if you're not gonna get the m4s, I recommend the Bose 700 over the M3s. Unless you can find a great deal and get the M3s for way cheaper.
@@vanhohenheim3589 they have very slight differences, but they're noticeable when you wear them. The M4s are far more comfortable than the M3s.
Epsilon Star are the difference even that noticeable? I feel like this is like a typical apple update, very little changes and basically the same product but with a higher price

Have had xm3 for a few months and still pleased. Will hold off on upgrade. The xm3 has great comfort, battery life and the sound is great for the genres I listen to.
I finally got to try the demo set today and it is so much of an upgrade from my beat solo3. I bought a pair and am looking forward to using them everyday!

I’m leaning towards these over the Shure Aonic 50. The ambient sound mode looks amazing, and the app looks like the strongest one for any noise cancelling headphones. My only concern is build quality. I’m just hoping that the plastic housing doesn’t crack or break.

These are some of the best headphones someone can buy literally just got them in the mail and the listening experience is otherworldly. It’s like you are actually immersed in the the song when listening to music. Great Sound Quality better than beats and any version of air pods.
Floss, I was waiting for your review to make my final decisions on these and you got me over the line. My last question was if the multipoint works between iOS and Android (e.g. Android phone and iPad scenario) and you've answered that (albeit with an iPhone but same same). We'll done on an amazing review again - minus the singing of course. You either hate it or you truly despise it. I'm even beyond that bruh 😆

I had the chance to listen to the xm4s and they are as advertising by you sir....and it knocked out all the sounds around me...they were so very comfortable....I wish I could afford them.

My old Skullcandy headphone, I used it everyday for more than a year to the point that it is getting worn down from so much use and I decided to get these Sony headphones, got it on sale in Amazon, $70 off. I was going back and forth between Bose and Sony, and I decided Sony is better for me, especially since it's on sale and looking forward to noise cancellation, multiple device support, USB C charging, etc. Thank you

They actually put thicker plastic on the point where it breaks the most, so it will pretty much no longer crack easily. It's weighs about the samedue to the chips used being less heavy(for example the bluetooth chip), but due to thicker plastic and stuff it's only a gram less heavy.
