- In this video i go through all of the new items for Henry in #KingdomComeDeliverance that i was able to find, and that i am relatively sure were added either with the from the ashes dlc/1.6 update or with the 1.5 update. In any case, these items are pretty new, so enjoy. #WarhorseStudios #KCD

Here's a fun fact at the beginning of the game at Henry's father's forge you can find the shield with the golden hand on it.. I found some bandits near skalitz with that shield so I dont think it's new just very rare to find it

Wenceslas IV of Luxembourg was the son of the highly successful monarch Charles IV. He inherited the Bohemian throne and attained the German crown by election. However, he did not inherit his father's predisposition for ruling. Already during his lifetime he was known for being a weak, idle and moody ruler who was afflicted with many ailments, as well as difficulties meeting his royal obligations, despite the fact that he had been groomed for rule since early childhood (he was crowned Bohemian King at the age of only two years). He was more interested in hunting, alcohol, courtesans and pleasures of the court.
During his time as king, the lands of the Bohemian Crown underwent several wars and conflicts involving his relatives - his own brother Sigismund and his cousins, the Moravian Margraves. The event that triggered the Margraviate Wars was that Wenceslas occupied the vacated estates of the Olomouc Archdiocese, which by law belonged to the nobles.
Under the leadership of Jobst, the Moravian lords joined with Sigismund in open revolt against the King, which had less to do with the Olomouc estates than with the legitimacy of the rule of Wenceslas, who in the meantime had been stripped of the Imperial Crown by the imperial electors for his incompetence and unwillingness to rule. Later he also lost the power of the Bohemian Crown, when he made numerous concessions and awarded the nobles many privileges, de facto transferring the ruling power to them. His unwillingness to meet obligations resulted in his abduction twice (thereby removing him from the throne) - first in 1394 by the Czech nobles and then in 1402 by his brother Sigismund.
Wenceslas initially supported the reform proposals of Jan Hus and his adherents, but he did nothing to save the reformer's life when he was sentenced to be burned at the stake by the Church. He thus set in motion what was later to become the largest (and only more or less successful) popular revolt in Europe - the Hussite Wars. However, he did not live to see these events, since he died in 1419. After his death, his brother Sigismund of Hungary seized the crown - but he had to fight for it, since not everyone acknowledged his claim, and once he had the crown he did not live to enjoy it for long.

2:43, it's not a mistake. The targe is a type of spiked shield used for bashing. I'm not sure of the capabilities but it could definitely cause bleeding damage against an unarmored opponent. I didn't know the Cumans used it but the Highlander Scots definitely did. The point being that it is a historical weapon
Thats a decent explanation, you are probably right, i just thought it was funny that it has the same description as the wooden cuman shield.
DTG Productions even Skyrim had a unique shield “the target of the bloodied” and yep, it causes bleed damage which as far as I know is the only shield that does.
Pretty sure Cuman brigandine, Heraldic Neckchain and Dark combat jacket arent part of the DLC I had them prior to downloading.
You can find the heavy shield with the boar in the mission of Robers baron if you choose to parley with them. If you want to kill them instead, you will find a heavy shield with a heart inflamed (just like the sigil of Stannis Baratheon in GOT). For the Gold hand shield, I found it randomly in a bandit attack north ouest of Sasau on the other side of the river. Also you can find the golden hand shield in Vranik camp, there was a guy wearing it while I was on mission there.
The heavy shield with the boar on it isn't new you can loot it from the robber baron guy during the robber baron quest
You see, thats one of those things that i just can't know, because every playthrough ive done of this game, it is always bugged and Hans Capon won't talk to me after "Next to Godliness" So i have never been able to play Robber Baron.
@@Dare_To_Game It used to be the boar shield but they changed it with the DLC. Now the boar shield is in Pribyslavitz and the Robber Baron guy has a red shield with a flaming white heart.
Hans Capon won't talk to you for a little while after Next To Godliness. It took a few visits to Rattay got me before he did. I think the quest locks after you escape Vranik. And there is a problem where Hans won't wear any clothes into battle.

Sorry Nico, but those combat jackets are not new. I have been wearing the dark combat jacket for quite a while. I have found several of the Heraldic Neck Chains when looting Traders in the Hold Up locations, and they are also not new. I am pretty sure that I have looted the Green Noble's Hood from Traders as well. It is worn by the same Trader that is wearing the Noble's Hat, which is also green.
The Sinew Bow can be purchased from the Archery Range vendor or stolen from one of the two chests in the shed from behind the Guard House. I stole mine, since I felt that I had already paid for it once. :-) It is a nice upgrade from the Yew Longbow.
I have not checked the other chest in the shed to see if the shield might be in there. Once I found the bow, I stopped looking.
Acts 13:41 You are absolutely right. Is the same for me here. I have most of those itens before the update and the DLC too.
Anyway... I want some way to find if i can buy or pick the Boar Shield in the village, since i choose to have a swordsmith in the village. I hope the Shield is not locked for me to buy/pick.
I know that there is no way to get the new sword if you have the armorsmith, so I think it is impossible to get the new shield if you have the weaponsmith. From what I understand, those items are not loaded into the game itself until the vendor is loaded.

Yeah, thats where i found all these items, during hold ups, but before the 1.5 patch, i had never encountered these items, nor seen them on any other NPCs, perhaps with the exception of the green hood, as someone pointed out, it may be the same one that tobias feyfer wears. This could just be my experience, and perhaps they were in the game before 1.5, but that is the first time i came across them.

Thanks for this video! Disappointed that I have to choose between the guardhouse and the stables as I already built a stable without knowing that I loose my stance of obtaining the sinew bow. I use archery a lot
Yeah me too...The first time i did this dlc, i built the stables without reading the description carefully, and it ended with me pretty dissapointed...But the new horses are nice.
I have the sinew now, but the yew longbow does more damage paired with better piercing arrows
The dark combat jacket can be found before the DLC at the raided town of skilits on bandits
the heavy shield with the boar was not added with the dlc but boarback was.
in my first play-through i found it on a body of a bandit in prybislavitz.
How do you get the shield with Crest I didn't find them in the guardhouse armory and I would love to try them but I can't find them tell me where to go get them
The boar sheiks was added in the band of bastards and you can pick it up hanging on their tent with the other shields
Is weaker than the original and its name there on the camp is just heavy shield.
Where can i find the dark combat jacket? In my play there is no more battles in Skalitz i dont know why...
When I'm not mistaken is the green hood worn by tobias feyfer so its not new but great video anyways
You may actually be right there, i seem to remember him wearing a green hood, but since i cant kill or knock him out, i wasnt able to get it.
Oh no, the targe if accurate will allow more movement whilst blocking and if used for countering will cause bleeding hence the damage stats.. id pair it with a warhammer or mace 👍🏻
Some r new some r just stuff from random encounters at high lvls or near end game as i got some before the dlc release
That was also my impression, that is why i said for various items that i was not sure if they were new. All i know for sure is that i have put 500 hours easily into this game, and i never encountered these items before the 1.5 patch.
several of my merchants are broken and i cant use them. trade menu has henry blacked out in silhouette. weird wonderful stuff.
Great vid. One thing though, heraldic neck chain was in game already, just not easy to come across.

Probably never at this point. But maybe with A Woman's Lot. Best bet would be to look to mods when official support is launched.
I can't get the sinew bow, the archer master doesn't sell it and the two chests in the armory are empty.
Someone told me that patch 1.7 bugged it out, so, we're hoping patch 1.8 will bring it back.

Targe shield? maybe its a typo and meant to be target shield. just a guess but it would explain the low defence rating
Apparently its a historical weapon used by highlander scots that was a spiked shield used for bashing.
ah i know the ones, small round shield that jacobites used. Warhorse need to update the model

I had the combat jacket before the update (orange) I never saw the grey one.

and if you go to skalitz after beating the game there is a skirmish and a bandit has it on.

Dare To Game what a let down :/ ‘pvp/multiplayer’ and ‘massive skirmishes’ will never come to KC:D. Our only hope is the modding tools, which they should have released FAR earlier, for modders to save this game

Yeah, this video was recorded on a standard PS4 before i built my new PC. All of my new KCD videos are done on my PC.

I thought it's maybe just the video quality but I can clearly see the anti-aliasing not doing so well ;) Have a good time playing on PC then! btw is it possible to play with a spear/polearm yet? I know it wasn't possible to "attach" it to a horse before. I was thinking of replaying the game but I don't want to do it with a shield and sword again (and bow) and I'd like to try something new. Polearms were tempting even before.
