Can Aaron Rodgers lead the Jets on a deep playoff run? | Pro Football Talk | NFL on NBC
/ nflonnbc - Sport
Greatest Super Bowl run ever? You have got to be kidding us!
U might wanna watch that playoff run again because u a casual if u don’t think so 💯
Florio acting like rodgers didnt get hurt and the reason they did bad because rodgers played bad.
Thanks for bringing up that ‘14 Seattle game (Packer fan here). It was the most devastating loss I’ve ever watched in my 35 years on this earth.
watched that game in a Packer bar in Manhattan NY .it was a funeral
In his last game as a Packer, Rodgers choked in a game with playoff implications on the line.
Why is this even a conversation?
I say the former Jeopardy champion should consider the V-P ticket. It's what the country deserves.
Can the jets make the playoffs
Not with Rogers
@@bobg1069😂😂
No.
Whoa Nice suit
Didn’t he end up barely beating Caleb Haney? Cutler got hurt right?
Didn’t he win the Super Bowl?
He doesn’t play Caleb haney , he plays vs Bears defense and yes he made 1 mistake and got shutdown in second half. He’s played much better in other playoff games where his defense couldn’t get off field.
Found the football novice
Playoffs? Playoffs??? LOL!!! Week 3 NE @home...let's see them win that one! Rodgers likes guys that know when and where to option their routes...is Malachi Corley going to be able to do that? Or can Rodgers adjust his game to get Corley the ball? Like be his first read... Takes more to ACTUALLY win in the NFL than a snappy one liner sales pitch. Talk is cheap, let's see him make it to week 3.
Go Bills!!!
He is a healthy 41 Rodgers stays in shape. Who says it's his last year. Don't count the Jets out.
Here’s all starting QBs who missed games due to injury last season: Anthony Richards, Deshaun Watson, Daniel jones, Kirk cousins, Kyler Murray, Joe burrow, Justin fields, Ryan tannehill, jimmy g, Kenny Pickett, Bryce young, Matthew stafford, geno smith, Justin Herbert, cj stroud
So we expect a 40 year old Rodgers on one strong achilles who hasn’t played football in two years to stay healthy ALL season on a brand new team AND THEN face teams like the ravens, bills, bengals, chiefs in the playoffs AND beat the top NFC team in a Super Bowl? 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yes bc the jets defense is better then any of those teams u just mentioned!!! 🤦🏾♂️ Rodgers won’t have to score much
Of course he can, but will he? Who knows. He went to a couple back to back NFC championship games, but those Packers teams were better than this Jets team is and they had a much better coach.
And was half a decade ago.
I disagree I think this jets team overall is better than those 2020/2021 packers but Lefleur is a better coach than saleh before
Besides missing Davante and the HC, this Jets team is best roster Rodgers been on in over 14 years.
It’s the Jets. I rest my case.
@@t0nka3 OK then why did the Packers go to back to back NFC championships and the Jets can’t even win their division?
He becomes a piece---not THE PIECE!
How is putting up 36 points a “Brady meltdown”. Rodgers defense has always been HISTORICALLY bad. Yall gotta start actually watching football before you talk about 🤣🤣
I actually watch football. Rodgers scored 6 points against the 49ers in the playoffs. That defense wasn’t bad, they held San Francisco to 6 points (they got a TD on special teams). Rodgers is too concerned about his stats.
Brady threw 3 picks in the second half??? MELTDOWN
So you going to ignore the terrible special teams in that game? Aaron didn't make any mistakes or turn the ball over. @@tonydejesus2134
Greatest Super Bowl run ever? How do you figure? If I was locking the greatest Super Bowl run ever the 1 that Rodgers went to would not be on my list. The Saints 2009 run would be at the top of my list.
Just don't bet on Rodgers come playoff time. Unless of course you consider fifty percent chance to win good odds. I don't!
Aside from 2011 and 2021 and maybe 2022 (Bucs were hot and were the best team at that point) all of his teams lost to a superior opponent.
Brees and Saints never made it back and they never get bashed. Manning without Von miller would only have 1 SB as well.
QBs like Brady, Montana Mahomes are outliers. Most of the all time greats have one 1, maybe 2 super bowls. Some none
Florida is not my favorite.
Short answer: No. Long answer: NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO. Next question.
Jets will win maybe 6 games even with Aaron Rodgers playing every game. Dude's washed.
Goofy. They won 7 games with Zach Wilson
Josh Allen is still Josh Allen… 10x better tha Aaron Rogers a 40, who will get hurt again… He was always a scrambler, not a Brady pocket passer… Don’t see how he can possibly scramble at his age, and not have injury… The first 6 games are ridiculous schedule… Will be a miracle if he makes it through those games… Shame on Joe Douglas for never ubilding OL. And aging Vets are not the answer. They always get hurt.
😭😭😭, Josh allen has never been better than rodgers at football other than the season where rodgers had a broken thumb and was throwing to Allen Lazard, rookie Romeo doubs and half a szn of rookie Christian Watson.
no
LOL…. They have to MAKE the playoffs first. 😂😂
I bet they win 9 games and miss the playoffs
Achilles is healed but his interview with Tucker showed his mind is still severely scrambled. And it's what's between his ears that has always held him back.
That's just an opinion. Feel free to let him have one as you have
@@SergentJConn My opinion is that his opinion is full on whacko. And I'm far from alone in my belief.
Rogers legacy will be : 'remember that weird guy Rogers? What was he about? Wasn't as good as he and the media thought he was'.
Or it will be that guy with 11 plus playoff wins, 100 playoff passer rating, a Super Bowl and superbowl mvp, to go along with 4 MVPs 60000 pass yards 500 tds 100 ints 150 plus wins and a top 5 all time qb.
Lmao weird part is true at most
Tell me you’re a casual who’s tiny mind is owned my Rodgers without telling me 🤣🤣 🤡
@@Johnny55671 Versus ten playoff losses! Hah! Not exactly a GOAT by estimation!
@@user-zo6zp8xu3t Favre has 11 loses, manning has 13 brees is 9-9 elway has 8. Brady has 13. Your point
