Your rear camera only works when you are in reverse gear? So, no recording if you get rear ended while stationary or driving forward? Also, not worried about what happens to the cables/airbag deployment during the rare chance of a car crash on the road?

but dashboard left side has Airbag control switch, so thought not to disturb it, that's why i opted to choose right side.
