    Great history ... then ... the Edge .. LOL! The walk through was fantastic. I learned more of what I should be looking for in Soju. I'm still far from understanding the spirit, but I'm on the journey!

    You're having way toio much fun. I just finished a bottle of Jinro Ilpoom 24% and am savoring a cup or two of Dokdo 37% as I watch this. Soju is my favorie spirit, but it truly is at its absolute best, ,accompanying Korean food (garlic,spices). And don't get me starte on flavored soju (YUCK). Still probably my favorite "go to" soju is Jinro Chamisul Original/Classic. Mainly because it is pretty smooth and available at almost every restaurant. I am lucky to live in Southern California, where there are probably more Koreans than anywhere outside of Korea.

      Glad to hear you’ve gotten some Dokdo despite the only recent USA distribution. Jinro Ilpoom 24 is also a fine soju! They just released a 41% oak influenced Ilpoom 6-8 months ago. Watch out for it! When I first moved to Korea the original was 23% - it was good. I can’t adjust to the 16/17’s - I guess because I don’t “one shot!”!
      Hope to visit Korea Town there one day!

      ps with you on flavoured “soju”. Notice the quotation marks. Soju and fruit blended at home though is great!

    Wondering if I can find any of these in the States. Like to try this with Korean food, which we eat often at restaurants and at home.
