Hi! I enjoy this Bladnoch! Nicely matured. I found exploring this expression interesting and my palette was really pleased! I wish it wasn't $100 before taxes in ON and BC - not sure about other provinces! However I realize whisky prices are rising. Terrific video and thoughts Mark!! Thanks so much! Be well! :-)
Hi Christine! Yes that is a bit on the high side - at least they carry it! Manitoba doesn’t stock any. Prices are too good in Alberta…

Rarely is it ever a bad thing - I’ve only experienced it once with a Glenfiddich earlier this year, I think because it’s heavily chill filtered, and I have a suspicion they use paper filters. @@WhiskyWhistle Appreciate the help and info, so anything in the say, 40% abv. range doesn't need much messing with. I guess you know too much water will ruin a good 🎭 dram!

A mildly robust 46.7%! Does not seem lacking at all. This is one of my fave not too pricey bottles(maybe $50 or less on sale for you) and a distillery I am now a huge fan of.

Any idea how this might compare to the Bladnoch Liora? Also NAS but bottled upwards of 50%
Very similarly but Liora has some virgin oak - beefing up the vanilla/caramel/spice notes. The ABV will it more concentrated of course, and you’ll get to play with water to enjoy.
