- This demonstration was part of an interview I had with Angela Fehr last year. She and I have a lot in common and it was fun meeting her for the first time.

I love this. Before you put the trees in I see a big golden fish breaking water. He even has an eye.
I followAngela Fehr and I am agree you both have a lot in common.
I really love the fabric idea for texture. I had to order some from overseas, but it just arrived and it really works nicely.
Awesome! I’m so glad you decided to share! ❤️
Beautifully Creatives painting very nice, And Vizlistion Of Deom effect of tree

The use of color in your paintings is impressive!
Absolutely gorgeous . 👏🫶👏
Its great. Looks like a large fish leaping out of the ocean.
Thank you so much Jean! I needed a change in subject matter and style. I am now planning what colors I will use in this fascinating style.
Looks like a lot of fun and the result is beautiful. I'm inspored to give this a try, and loosen up my watercolours. Thanks so much.

Thanks so much Daniela.
Thank you Jean, for this beautiful lesson! Inspired by you, I started my first combination today: watercolor, acrylic ink and granulating fluid. So much fun to do and it turns out so beautiful! So again, thank you very much!🥰
Thank you Siny. Have you checked out my courses online at watercolors.jeanlurssen.com
Great class as always Jean! I always learn so much from you, whether it's youtube or skillshare.
Just wondering if you throw the netted fabric away after one use or do you keep it and reuse it?
I wash them out and use over and over.
I use the granulation medium also - I hope they don't get rid of it!
Fantastic! I would love to know what you decided after a couple of days. Did you add bushes or dr. martins? I think it’s beautiful just the way it is.
I left it as is!
That’s a beautiful piece. Very inspiring. I can hear your South Africa accent but assuming you’re living in the States? I’m from Cape Town.
I'm originally from Cape Town too. Been in the States for 35 years now.

Merci pour ce beau partage. J’aime beaucoup votre paysage abstrait. Je vis en France et je ne trouve pas votre tissu filet. Pourriez-vous me donner le nom exact, et je regarderai sur ETSY. Merci.
If W&N stop making granulation you should check out Jean Haines latest book atmospheric animals, she has recipes for home made granulation fluids and she gets fabulous effects with it.
Any reason you don’t use dr ph martins watercolor inks instead of the acrylic inks?
Hi Zain. I don't get the same results with watercolor inks that I do with acrylic. I like the granulation I get with acrylic inks.
you dont have the correct link to the wn aqua green. you linked to perylene green daniel smith. i like the wn color much better!
Thanks for letting me know. the correct url is shorturl.at/wCVix
At 7:00 this was looking like a fish about to jump out of the water
