Facts
This is not a judgement or a prophecy but rather should be discussion. Carlin wasn't a scientist but a social critic only really criticises the social direction of the environmental protection movement. The disgust is directed at individuals who are hypocritical in their behavior. Leonardo DiCaprio is a prime example. He takes yachts and private planes himself but comes of as the greatest environmentalist there is.
Leave Leo alone please! Actors have to say stupid shit like that from time to time, because of their corporate overlords! If they didn’t use that platform to “spread the message” they wouldn’t have their jobs! And before you jump in with your - “but nobody is making them say those things at gunpoint” yes they do! Killing your own acting career is pretty much equivalent of being under gunpoint and no actor wants that (good or bad!), so they have to be someone’s talking head from time to time...it’s show business and it wasn’t invented yesterday, yet people acting like it’s some sort of new thing! Forgive me this little rant, but i’m tired of people blaming actors for everything they say! Stop paying so much attention to what some actor says! Aim your attention elsewhere please! Bottom line is - Leo is a great actor, always was always will be! That what should matter the most, not what he says during reward speeches! Jeez...

Leo is a piece of shit human being.
He discusses the social direction, but the rest of it makes a whole hell of a lot of sense as well. At the end of the day, there's nothing we are gonna do. Humans will go extinct eventually. The Sun will age and swell up to consume this rock once and for all. The rest of the universe will never know we existed.

I appreciate how you admit to being one of those people, yet acknowledge the absurdity of it. Yeah, I see what you mean. But when he mentioned a virus, he was talking about HIV/AIDS. Totally different than covid.....if that was what you were talking about. At the end of the day, neither of these viruses were enough to take an actual toll on humans. We are still 7.5 billion strong. Earth will eventually get rid of us though. No doubt.

Try to think if you were the Creator of all that exists, would you create a very complex thing that needs for you to MONITOR every TIME? of course you would think of a System that works
