The best oil to use is TCW-3 outboard oil at 24/1 mix.

Good old motor. Don't forget the oars, I have rowed home more than once. Best

@@TheGarageEngineer You should build some custom oars, out of wood....make a video.

@@uup116 that's a great idea. I did make a scrap wood paddle for any emergencyies when I took the boat out. Coming up in next video. It was hilarious. Thanks for watching.

After having outboards with carbs, and some with multiple carbs, my last motor had fuel injection. It was so nice to just crank it over (no primer bulb needed) and take off! It was only finicky when the water separator filter needed replacement which was about once a year.

10-4 on the TCWC -3 and 24/1. There are a couple of plastic 2 stroke measuring cups available, Walmart has a one in their fishing department that is good and cheap. Makes the mixing of gas/oil easy and accurate.

I used one of those motors as a backup motor for my 5.5, turned out the lightwin needed the backup motor

How timely. I have a Johnson 1963 three horsepower motor. I got it new. It does need some good attention and your videos will help me. Thanks

I may have misunderstood what you said but the arrow on the fuel filter must point to the carb. other wise it may run for awhile but will eventually starve for fuel.
