recently discovered this channel and I've been binging your videos for the last few days. Have already learnt so much and I love the attention to detail and all of the info in your install videos. Feeling confident about installing my first amp for my speakers (no sub as ill save that for my next car). Are there any tools/install accessories you'd recommend I should pick up as a first-timer that would make the job easier? Cheers guys!

Great work as usual guys, just wish you would show more of the all the wire process instead of speed time lapse the process. Very sure many of us wouldn’t mind watching all of it no matter how long the video would be. Love the vids and vast knowledge you give all of us. Thank you and many blessings

Great channel, love your videos. Question, not sure if you already do but it would be cool if you sold that amp (or any other) pre-wired like that and ready for shipment. Love the cable management job!

I know a lot of people don't like the floating head units but something like a halo 9 would have looked way better to replace the larger toyota one. Glad I got to see you guys mount /wire up the crossovers with that toyota adapter, getting ready to do my carolla build and am doing it the exact same way. Got the d5.1300 to integrate with the factory radio but then decided to go with the new halo9 f509 even though the idata maestro doesn't technically have a firmware version for my 2022 hybrid, going to go with the standard carolla flash and lose a few features that were redundant anyway since they are in the guage cluster display as well. Pairing it with morell virtus in the front, maximos in the back, and a down firing kenwood excelon 12in

Great install. Can’t help but thinking I’d have left rears standard, put a nice jl microsub in and run front end active. I bet it wouldn’t have cost much extra but the sound would be in a different league.

It seems most go with 6.5" speakers up front. I'm surprised more don't take advantage of the lager 6x9 space. Are 6x9s not as good for some reason?

You just wondering if you have even done a modest speaker upgrade on a 2010-15 Gen3 Lexus RX350 - 12 speaker system. The 2015 I own has: 1 center dash; 3 in each front doors; 2 in each rear doors & a sub in rear drivers quarter.
    Looking to do,in order:
Lower front 6x9’s to 2 or 3 ways coaxials?
The center dash 3.5” that is if you feel it would improve clarity
The lower rears at a later date.Mainly it’s normally just my wife & I.
I’m not looking into swapping out the factory Pioneer 210 watt/ 7 channel amp
Would enjoy hearing your thoughts & what brands to consider.
    Thank you in advance

By the way I have exact car and stop start is really killing me. you really can't run 2 good amps on this. My battery dies in at stoplight 🚦 😫

    • @mikeb5663

Check out Audiocontrol amp/sound processors. They have what they call GTO (great turn on) to address the stop/start function of newer cars.

    • @richardpeatfield4497
      @richardpeatfield4497 Před 2 lety

You can disable the start stop by putting the heat on defrost/floor setting. The start stop kills your battery and starter. Kind of a useless feature in my opinion.

Is a relay not needed? There’s are an amplifier, fake sub, RR, antenna to turn on. Does the Pioneer supply more than 1 amp through the remote turn on?

He’ll be back. The gimmicky under seat subs leave you longing for more. You lie to yourself and say it sounds good… for a while, then you want a real sub.
