I've always wanted to mention this while watching these videos, but your clients in the past and future, love seeing the attention to detail in these builds. Good job, fellas! Happy Thanksgiving to you all.
Watching Dean and Nando work, Its like watching an artists paint. So much attention to detail and care taken with every single Job. If you guys were in Aus, I would drive hours and hours to have you work on my car.
Wow! your attention to detail, improvisation, work ethic, not whining or complaining customer doesn't have this or that and just getting the job done really set you 2 guys way ahead of competition.....you make my local geek squad installers look like amateurs....Job well done effortlessly!
love how in depth the videos are. i know not alot of people like that but hey, awsome work
You guys are awesome I love to take my car to you guys !
Love the way those crossovers are stacked
Nice job as always. Happy Thanksgiving to you guys.
Fernando does some clean work. He should take a stab at becoming an electrician! skills! Nice work guys.
Wow! You guys make this look so smooth. I do have a question though. I’m working on a similar Highlander and want to know what grommet hole was used through the firewall to fish the power line? I’m having trouble with that one.
Hey I like your videos and I like the way you explained everything but I have a question for you have a 2021 Ram 2500 I want to put better system on the speakers doors and subwoofers but also I don't want to broke my bank what kind of speakers on the doors and what kind of Amplifier do you recommend me to get for this application
Superb
I have that 8in screen original from Factory I know I have to buy the kit to do the RCA for the amp
Good morning from Spokane Washington
I wonder did Dean put filters on the focal tweeters before the crossover to protect the tweeter ?
love the videos, and happy holidays. i have a question as well. where do i get the vapor barrier from toyota for a tacoma, or would sound deadening material be better? thanks for your time and videos learned a lot from you
You must have a vapor barrier for your door. It keeps moisture, debris, dust, and toxic engine fumes from coming in to harm you and your audio components.......vapor barrier is a must, and sound deadening is absolutely NOT a good replacement for it. I'm gonna guess only Toyota has 'em. I wouldnt trust a DIY project with 6 mil poly either for that matter
Quick Few Questions: What do you wrap the speaker wires in at the point they have to cross the power and ground leads by the amplifies? Looks like you slide something over the wires and melt it for extra protection. What is the name of the black material that you mount the amp to in this video? Great videos and they are helping me a ton.
One year later .any update. I just purchased a 2015 highlander xle.
hello, I have a Volkswagen Atlas and I want to change the speakers. tell me which ones are better to install and which amplifier to buy for them and whether you need to install krasovers or not. thank you very much. I really like your channel. I wish you more success.
Niiice xover rack brother.
Man I wonder how much it cost to have you guys install a sound system? I had some subs hooked up from scratch and it costed me $400. Which I thought was a little much. But I didn't question it because of my location. I moved from Florida to North Carolina. In Florida it was 100 for the installation and 200 for window tints. (Also Ihad my own subs and amp and wiring kit already) so the installation was 400...

Deep thought of the day.
Why didnt you use the existing speaker adapters that were in the door? Seems like you could have done exactly the same modification to make the 5.25s fit using those rather than selling him new ones.
I find myself drooling over and dreaming one day of having these speakers in a 3 way fully active component set........Then I wake up to my car and its 2 way passive set up.....*sigh*
Do you sell those mounts you made for the dash tweeters? I need those for my TUNDRA and those ones you made for the C5 Corvette doors!!
I got a set from ebay, 1.5 cutout diameter.
Metra sells them
This isn't the first time you mentioned the inconsistency with polarity of Focal speakers. I wonder if they have ever addressed that to you directly and what they said. I love the sound of a lot of their home and auto stuff, but oversights like this make me think twice before buying anything. It tells me they have an issue with Quality Control.
Is 60w enough to drive the Focal's decently?
...I think so
Hai bros
I enjoyed my Focal components in my E46 M3, but the moment Focal became trendy, I started looking elsewhere. I know run Audison's, and they not only sound a lot better, but they aren't trendy because Audison doesn't market their speakers as much as their equipment, so not many people run their speakers. Win win for me.
be careful how many times you slide those seats on the new teslas
