    I'm glad you made this video. I believed it was her nephew - as I couldn't imagine someone lying about it - and putting themselves out there like that for a "laugh." I then went on other videos (like an idiot) spewing the whole nephew story - and adding your video link. I deleted those threads asap this morning. Fiona appears to be such a liar - (with or without the "nephew" aspect) that is wasn't hard to fall into this hole.

    • @Diane-1912
      @Diane-1912 Před 19 dny +2

      @jowallace4986 the only reason I can come up with for their being no open record or anything, is if it was a mental health situation and she was classed as a vulnerable person then nothing would be allowed to be printed. I live in Scotland and I have never heard anything of this until now m.

    • @jowallace4986
      @jowallace4986 Před 18 dny +1

      @Diane-1912 that's interesting, although this happened in London, but patient records would still be confidential like you say. It's a very strange case all-round & IMO, Netflix needs to engage with Fiona to settle any grievances or discrepancies ... & do so in private, which they might be doing.

    • @Diane-1912
      @Diane-1912 Před 18 dny +1

      @jowallace4986 ahh okaysl. I thought the supposed conviction happened here. Ayton, you're righ, Netflix absolutely need to make contact and hopefully something amicable can come of this. Its like a more serious Tiger King show, its got the world hooked.

    • @jowallace4986
      @jowallace4986 Před 18 dny

      @Diane-1912 the previous interim injunction by the solicitor was in Scotland but it looks like Fiona Harvey then moved to London when she allegedly stalked Richard Gadds, according to his version of events. He said he sought a restraining order against her but she didn't go to prison so she might have moved out of London then as that's a typical pattern with these types of people with behaviourial issues, & it fits in with the previous incident in Scotland. She's may have been receiving treatment elsewhere but it's been reported that her harassing behaviour has started again against other people in the media.

    I truly hate dishonest people. If this creator had admitted that the nephew was a liar, (after posting this video claiming he was her nephew), he could’ve made a second video that explained what happened, and outed the fake nephew! He could’ve shown that he strives to get to the bottom of things, and would’ve gained loads of respect. Instead, he deletes comments that explain how the ‘nephew’ lied that she was his ‘auntie’. (This creator has deleted many of my comments in which I discovered the truth.) I used to like this creator. But he’s lost my respect. THIS is why people don’t trust ‘the news’. This creator tells people where to locate the nephew! All of the people who look him up, like I have, won’t trust this guy. HOWEVER!!! If he had cleared the air, and OUTED the ‘nephew’, after posting this video, he would’ve gained so much! He could’ve told his followers that he strives to find the truth, even if it means a little egg on his face. What a lost opportunity!!! I would’ve been amazed by this, and he would’ve gained my trust. Instead… he lost it. I now don’t trust anything he says.

    The onus is ALWAYS on the victim in these situations, espwcially with mental health issues involved. The victim has to take all the actions, the victim has to make changes to their life nevause of harassment the victim has to understand the perpetrators feelings and issues, the victim can't react or take action no matter what the perpetrator does, the victim has to not exacerbate things even by behaving in a perfectly normal and/or reasonable way under the circumstances... all sorts. And half the time, the perpetrator faces little or no consequences for their actions, while the victim is affected forever and often finds their life changed in many ways for a long time, or maybe forever, sometimes in major ways. If mental health is involved, the police have a tendency to do nothing as the perpetrator "doesn't have capacity" and "their hands are tied " and various other platitudes to justify their backing off and leaving a victim high and dry suffering mental and emotional torture, which can lead to physical health problems and long term mental health issues for them too. But the "most important" person, the one who gets all the allowances made for them, is the perpetrator and THEIR issues. It's easier to ignore and dumo on the victim and push them to also make allowances that they shouldnt ever have to. It's a hellish minefield.

    I feel so badly for this poor woman. While I don't think she handled her first job opportunity correctly, for some former employer who fired her after two weeks to come forward and say "it's uncanny" is truly derogatory. That means then this former lawyer who hired her aligns herself to the writer and his lifestyle choices. I feel that situation, perhaps unwarranted to them, is completely different. I wish people would stop believing fiction as reality and then making this Fiona women receive awful threats and damage to her professional life. She is owed money by many people regarding this. It's clear she never gave her permission in any way for any part of her story to be told. And he claims to have received all these emails and phone calls texts , then why did this dude not change his number and emails? He accepted them. Who else would tolerate that? He obviously liked her attention in some way if it's even true and I am doubting that even 10% of this is true from his series at this point.

    saw your video about the "nephew" and refrained from commenting. I knew it was bullshit because he never actually proved he was her nephew. Infact in your video you even posted a question from someone who asked if he was indeed her nephew and he just said yes. like... the very definition of someone saying their source is "just trust me bro". This is why the court of public opinion is horrendously stupid. Everyone believes everything with no proof. If Journalists cant even find her court or prison papers, which even under her previous name she gave in the interview, means one of two things in U.K. law. 1) they dont exist because it never happened, Gadd also admitted he actually made that part up. 2) the courts have withheld that information but upon request could choose to make the documents public to the person(s) that request them. And no journalist has said they have made a request for them. I havent even watched the show because i dont care about people cashing in on stuff like this, like Gadd has done 3 times now.

    She dropped her "double-barralled" surname - she admitted as much.. so there's that, at the _very_ least . . .
    Now, knowing the Fiona that we do from the interview + BR, I am by no means prepared to just give her the benefit of the doubt, that she never made any further changes to her name/s... or pulled any number of slick manoeuvres from her legal eagle bag of tricks to obfuscate her criminal history.
