HolyStone is where I started and had no complaints. This one looks like a great beginner drone.
Finally a budget drone that's good quality and doesn't have fisheye👍

I started with the Bugs 4W 4K. This is way more advanced, an awesome hobby-grade unit. It actually has useable video.
Reminds me of the Bugs 16 and the F11. I've been looking at this drone for a couple of days now. For the price I would probably be looking at the fimi x8. I'll have to wait until next year when the weather in my country of the UK gets better and decide then.

It looks like a redesigned F11 Pro Gim. It shoots nice video and the price point is nice for those looking to get a decent entry level drone with features not available on the budget DJI mini drones though at this price I would probably lean towards purchasing the DJI Mini SE instead. You can also get the F11 pro gim for about $100 less which is more appealing and a better price point for beginners.

The landing lights could be infrared with a optical sensor. However the return to home being off that much; not sure it is working though.

This one looks like a winner. Wished it had been available when I bought the 720E. Walmart has it on for the same price as the 720E. I guess is is available and in stock. I didn’t try ordering to see, but their ad said free two day delivery. Who knows?
On the HS720E, the landing lights can be toggled on and off with a button on the right-hand shoulder of the radio.
Not sure if the same procedure is employed here, but this *IS* a Holy Stone product. 😁
I tried all the usual methods, but no luck.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Holy Stone says this is a future feature, my guess is either it draws too much battery or the FAA gave them grief over the lights.
Not too bad. Seems a little expensive with only a 2 axis gimble but the video looks really good. You really have a great area to fly in.
It’s now for sale in several places but Amazon currently has a 50$ off coupon so it’s a good value for what it is. I just ordered one myself.
I purchased the HS600 in July and I love the way this things flies, so much fun. The blue and white LED's on the arms looks good and bright at night time and it can record your voice audio on video (through the controller) while flying. I also own a mini 2. I like them both. I'm keeping the HS600 for the speed and long-lasting batteries and extra features.
I have to mini 2 also, but i do like the 600.
I really want to buy this drone the HS600 do you think there is any reason NOT to buy this drone?

@@JAMAICAWALKBY actually I flew it yesterday in very light drizzle, worked fine, I like how it hovers an stay in place, plus the blue an white lights on the are, looks really kool a dusk. If it's ur first drone, I wld recommend it.

My VTI Phoenix has button for beginner mode or basic mode or sport mode that also served as lights button also my lights kicked on during some my waypoint actions

Your videos are very informative, especially for market research for our first drone. It really helped me to narrow down the list of drones that we would get. The top runners are the Holy Stone HS600 or the KF101 MAX drone for that sweet sweet range.
Any major factor to choose one over the other (not factoring in the price)?
When you buy a drone for under the $300 US price tag, they are all considered entry level, so picking one over the other won't provide too much difference, perhaps just different features.
I enjoyed the video.
My opinion, too expensive. DJI mini SE costs less money. As always thanks for the awesome video!
It is said that the landing lights are just for show. there are no bulbs inside. Maybe when they make an updated version of the HS600, they'll maybe added to it.
Its a nice drone. I am also using HS720
I've been trying to decide on this or the DJI Mavic mini (V1) since they are both the same price. I think dollar for dollar this will be a better value. Maybe someday I'll step up to a Mavic pro but I think for a beginner drone this HS600 will be perfect, thanks for the helpful review!

WANT SOMETHING REALLY FUN GET A 25.00 holy stone Hs190 nano drone ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL just look it up I fly indoor competition drone courses with time limits n objectives and I only loose if I make a error a nano drone that can charge in your controller with 3 speeds brushless mini ( n I mean mini ) motors with a 50 meter distance n u can crash it allday it’s a itsy bitsy BEAST

I was waiting to see your review of this. I bought one when it first was available ( walmart, not amazon) mine was a dud. no amount of App updates could fix it. H.S. cust service gave up and sent it to Walmart Cust Service. I could not recommend it based on my early experience. you might also inform people that in 4K cameras with E.I.S. the video is less than 4K due to the EIS, which can not be turned off, E.I.S. takes away pixels to make video smoother, and it is then upscaled to 4K.

From the title of your video this drone is apparently very popular. I clicked on the link and the HS600 was not found. There were 2 different versions of the HS700. Since the HS600 is very difficult to find, which Holystone drone would you recommend?

Not really. It is not a drone meant for FPV Goggles.

A lot of these drones have physical positions for features but due to the chip shortage they are blanked off it’s such a shame that items are having to be made compromised due to lack of chip supply

I am having trouble with the Camera on hs600. I have trouble Is rotating the camera and on one flight flight suddenly the Gimble started going back side aside so fast you could not tell what the picture was. Any ideas?

So in sense whats its name in the SJRC because Holystone isnt possible to get for Swedes. We have to get the rebranded version from SJRC.
For $400 RTF kit, that seems like a steal.
Ok . I understand how some drones can lose connection and just keep going . I had one zip away and luckily hit a tree branch . It was just a small drocon 014 ninja in 3 rd speed but it’s quick in 3 rd . I now know to be careful at certain distances . It can’t go far at all but I hoo the 175d can go further or just keep connection with line of sight . I thought I could go a lot further and higher even with the little guy . Haven’t tried the 175d in height or distance or yet

Hello captain drone, I’m a beginner on drones but I been following you for quite a while and now I’m about to purchase my first real drone and I need your help. I’m in between the HS600 or the HS720E , I saw the reviews you give to both drones and they are similar, I’m going to use it most of the time in the desert, there’s a lot of wind some times, what do you recommend for this situations if you have to choose one?
