Might be a little early but,
April Fools!
I'm not mad. Actually it works better that way !
OK. I gotta try to do this myself on a cheap new 1/24 scale diecast. Can't afford to order a nice JADA Batmobile but just any decent looking cheap diecast should work. Just for giggles.
I was wondering why it had a modern circuit board and LEDs...
Bro, an April's Fool joke in March isn't an April's Fool joke.
I feel so bamboozled... hoodwinked... hornswoggled. I enjoyed every bit of it.
Hahaha, this is great, so many channels pulling exactly this shit, well done!
When I saw this, I was like NO! Not you! Please don’t start doin these fake restorations! Lol😂 well done exposing these. It’s so frustrating to see these.
@@Kevmaster2000 the vast majority of “antique toy car/truck restorations” on CZcams are faked. The person makes the toys look dirty. The toy usually is in great condition to start and they fake the restoration.
Same! I’m so sick of those resto-fake-tions!
Regardless, it takes some serious skill to vintage-ify something like this. This is some detailed craftsmanship and a really good art piece! You've got remarkable talent!
I was surprised how much I liked the look of the damaged Batmobile. Would've loved to keep it like that. But the video must go on...
Bro made a statement without saying a word and my respect for you has gone so much higher 😎👍 Still a pretty sick toy to have had tho
I was surprised that you were able to clean this old, yellowish plastic and to restore this electronic stuff but now it's clear. Nice. 😉
That plot twist was incredible. Great job. Fooled me.
This was like watching the movie TENET. Wait....so the End was the Beginning? But the Middle was actually at the Beginning...but also the End? Why is everything moving Backwards and Forwards at the same time!? Great video, I really enjoyed seeing how you faked the 'rust'. Happy April, Steve!
You got me. Although I was really confused by the fact you skipped over the replacement of the circuit board, wires, and lights because it would cost a lot more than if you bought a new toy and took the electrical parts out of it. I initially thought you would just skip that part of the 'restoration'.
I really love your sense of humor when it comes to these things! I loved the twist ending too!
I gotta say, even at this, he’s really good at simulating dirtiness and rust pretty well.
I absolutely love the title effects and music to this video, but the way it went from All Dirty to Super Clean is just absolutely Amazing.
I almost enjoyed you destroying the Batmobile more than restoring it! Ah, the magic of editing to fool the eye! Love this! George Barris would be proud!
Way to expose the fakeness of these videos!
When I saw this, I realized that this car is more realistic than many real cars that I have seen!!
Well that answers my initial question - how can an abandoned toy be this rusted out but still have all the parts? 😂 And also my middle question - wait it's over? But he didn't fabricate anything! 😂 I guess you fabricated the whole video!! Happy early April Fool's! 😂😂😂 Good job! 💜
Knew something was up as soon as I saw the circuits, no way they were using that stuff for toys in 66
Not sure what's more impressive. Making the old look new, or the new look old.
very frustrating😞, but amazing work, i really thought that you was restoring this masterpiece, regards, nice work!
Great stuff. Should have saved this for April 1st!
Damn that would have been a good idea! If only 😂
The beat up Batmobile would make a fantastic diorama 😁👍. Great job
Not sure if you're going to see this but it is funny. And I'm also not sure it's been posted but. When you pulled the batmobile out of the package. And noticed that it's wheel was missing. I couldn't help but think of that nursery I'm at the end where it says
"...and the batmobile lost a wheel and the joker got away"
God damn you got me... I do hate people doing this kind of shit. At least you showed us that it was bs :D
I'm flabbergasted...I am flabbered with gas! I'll never look at restoration videos the same way.
The real plot twist here is Steven really making those fantastic sculptures or not? 😂😂😂😂
I knew something was up when I saw the circuit board in the car,I'm like :that is NOT vintage lol
this is the greatest video I've ever seen
That's awesome bro
Great work
That's just pure evil... I love it!
Thank you for reminding me of just how powerful pre and post production really are in controlling what we predive.
You can so clearly see at which point in the video people commented hahaha
I pressed like before the plot twist and was confused what was going on hahaha... nicely done! Great spotlight on the fact that this is a thing now, kinda sad tbh, objective reality is pretty much gone haha
it was a secret destoration?
Holy Rust Bucket, Batman!
Thank you for the video. I was suspicious when I saw the rusted version in the opening because this car is made of metal that does not rust!. I am glad I watched until the end.
And all the magic is gone 😢. Fun to see how you can fool everyone with these restoration videos 😅
that toy car is cool
you got me after half video was done
I'm excited! Woo
You had me fooled. I thought it was a fake restoration video at first because I have seen so many before. I liked watching you show how you faked it.
Very cool 👍 so thats how many CZcams channels fake restoration 👍
I was like "something ain't right". Cool man. You made me watch till the end. Great vid!
Very great
This was a fantastic video!! And one I think EVERYONE who watches restoration videos should watch! I have friends who just don’t believe me that people do that! Love your work, keep it up 😀
Excellent concept ! :)
At the start the action figures being pristine was really off, but when he showed a "dirty" circuit board cleary modern made the jig was up. :)
This man really bought a new batman toy car made it dirty on purpose and then undid his work to make it clean 😂😂😂 what a legend
Such an excellent content.
Holy cow Batman! Fantastic job!
Wow great job
Outstanding
Nice when someone shows the whole truth. Not all, but there are enough channels that don't show the ending.
Weirdly enough I'm somehow more impressed by the twist!
I was gonna rant so hard on you. It's obvious its a 2019 Jada Toys Batmobile. You got me, good one
Awesome ✨️
As I was watching, I thought “this looks too good to be a toy from the 60s”
Then my question was answered at the end
Best restoration video ever!
Parabéns meu caro ! Você se tornou o "Mr M" de muitos que produzem vídeos de restauração ! Acredito que nem todos , mas muitos deles devem estar te odiando ! Hahahahah ...
I was thinking all along that I don’t remember this Batmobile in the 60s? 😂😂😂😂😂❤
That’s awesome
Great
So this is the Batmobile that lost a wheel and let joker get away, huh? 🤔 Hope they get him next Christmas.
underrated comment
very satisfying 👏🤩
Make some more mask remodeling, you’re good at it and it’s really cool!
You have a new subscriber. Great work... 👍
wooooow thank you for ushering me out of the matrix lmao
Right as the video ended I noticed my wallet was missing, I turned my head just in time to see Steven Richter riding off into the sunset on his Harley holding my wallet.
"nothing personal, kid"
Well, I didn't expect that! A bit bizarre, but well done!
You're awesome.
Good one 🎉
I knew these fake restorations were a thing. It seems so silly that they obviously just intentionally ruin stuff.
(slow clap) Well done, sir! Very well done indeed!

Really nice video exposing all those fake restores. Bravo!
I loved the little edit from the movie Clue. It fit perfectly with the rest of the video.

Incroyable
1-st april is not today!
Thank you... I always thought that these videos were fake and I really wanted to know how they were made 😃. Great video 💯
I noticed something strange about the dolls, they were in new condition. 😆😆😆
Very clever indeed ! Great how you actually went out of your way and took a break from your regular sculpting to made a video showing how all the fake restoration videos out there are made. Pity that the Classic Bat Mobile had to come apart that way though lol However, I shall take consolation in the fact that it isn't one of my favourite Bat Mobiles.
......."MY HERO"......🦸‼️
We are deceived😂anyway good job👍
I absolutely loved this: When I see so many videos of fake 1/24th and 1/18th scale die-cast 'restorations' where the content creator has done precisely what you have done in order to keep their channel going I absolutely want to vomit. Their dopey audience doesn't even seem to understand that damaged toys and collectables don't present like actual real full-size abandoned vehicles. Beggars belief and drags hits, likes and subscriptions away from genuinely talented creative makers like yourself. Well done.
If you haven't already? Do Christine!👍!👍
Brilliant 🙂👌
I just thought it was sad to do that to such a nice model.
Hahaha cool twist man! ı was wondering which channels make it in real time :)
Rip George baris and Adam west
What a twist!
He's making them look like junkyard wrecks, & then restoring them better than they were originally! That's great! Some idiots don't get it!?🤔
Too early for april fools! 😅
Ficou muito bonito...
🇧🇷✌
Watching the paint stripper makes my fingers hurt from when I used it as a kid without gloves.
Oh ouch, I was surprised to see it was even eating through the nitrile gloves while I was working. Can’t imagine it on bare skin
Brutal🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Omggg:)))) thats something else and i always wondered how these vidoes made
To the Batmobile!
Brilliant 😂😂, think there'll be a few of those fake channels not to Happy with this
Back when things were actually metal and not just a bunch of plastic
Que fachero el coche
Amazing 👍👍🏻👍🏽😂😂😂
Da na na na na na Batman
I was sitting here thinking "How the hell did he get such sharp lines from regular blue tape?"
Kept waiting for the duck-tor to come out. Untill I realized it was a different chanel altogether.
I feel like it would have been easier to restore an actual abandoned batmobile. Seems like you put much more effort in the fake restoration. Still enjoy your videos. Very clever and talented content.
