That’s slick ole son!
Hey, I appreciate that ! part 2.The material rack build is dropping dropping Friday at 5. Check it out
Dang that was one of the best videos I’ve seen so far regarding mobile welding . Well organized and very clean set up.
Thank you Sir !
Sweet rig, been watching this video over and over again trying to get a plan on the bottle and pipe stand rack
Thanks brother, I just free handed that, I really like the way it turned out. I'm getting ready to add a material rack.
cute saying " red outside blue inside ill remember that"
Awesome trailer and the way you have it all organized is great!
Thank you, I'm getting ready to build a rack for it so I can haul material
Awesome !!! Seriously Dialed In trailer !!! Work smarter not harder !
I'm really happy with the rig, I'm thinking about adding a material rack on the top, thanks for watching!
I really love this set up.
Thanks !
This is absolutely beautiful. The organization is on point.
I've got a Silverado 1500. Trying to figure out how to go about building a rig for myself with the truck I have. Thank you for sharing.
I bet your truck will turn out awesome ! Hey thanks for watching
Thanks for a great video on organizing mobile welding gear.
Thank you for watching !
Nice trailer build and set up. Very well organized
Thank you Mr. Jeffery !

That is one hell of a welding trailer my guy!! super well fabricated to be super easy to work off of!
Thanks !!!
That's frickin beautiful ! I love it. Very well thought out and put together. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks brother !!!
Looks great. Great concept. The lower tool box on the rear.
Thanks ! much easier tool access.
Had classes with you a few Summers ago at Eastfield; it's great seeing you grow man! Would love to come check out your shop soon.
Absolutely come by the shop 3206 main st suite 106 Rowlett, give me a call.
Looks excellent, differently gave me ideas thanks for sharing!
Thanks, I'm really happy with the layout and the way the trailer came together.
LOVE THE WELDMONGER STICKER!
Jody has upped my game in sooooooo many ways as a welder ! Thank you welding tips and trick !!!
Really nice equipment and workmanship ,thanks for sharing
Thanks !
First off, sweet trailer! I absolutely love it. I so wish I could run a small business just like this.
I guess there just isn't just one "best way" though. I would think that a dedicated truck would be best, but when your truck serves multiple purposes, the trailer is the best option.
I do a lot of scrapping on the side and I use a trailer rather than a dedicated truck. I have to keep my truck set up for my regular construction job.
Thanks for the comment ! 95% of our business is indoor, if that changes in the future, I'd love to build a dedicated truck.
Absolutely love how you installed the ridgid toolbox half through the trailer.
My back loves it too ! Thanks for watching.
A proper set up that anyone would love to have, great job sir. Very cool.
Thank you Sir !
Great build! Very smart!
That's awesome ! Thanks for watching !
Everything brand spanking new. Cant wait to see it in action. Good Channel. Cheers from Latvia.
Thank you Mr. Vanags !
Very nice, thanks for taking the time to share
Thank you and thank you for your support
Love this video it's simple and easy
Thanks! and thanks for watching.
Great build! Absolutely A1!
Thank you Sir !!! I'm going to be doing an update video I added an air compressor
Dude I love the build it's beautiful this was a huge help
Thanks !
Very nice, well thought through from top to bottom.
Thank you Sir !
That is a very nice trailer.
Thank you !
Man. This thing is BADASS!! 👌
Hey that's awesome man I'm glad you enjoyed the video thanks for watching
Love the layout built mine with materials I had. The lengths were 8ft by 50" 12ft to the tung. Wish I had the 2 extra feet you have I would build it exactly as you did. Trying to get my layout just like yours.
Awesome ! Thanks for watching !
Thats a great welding rig! You built that really well!
Thank you Sir !
Nice job on that trailer. You'll never regret it! 👈🙋👍
Thank you Sean !
Thank you Sir !
Very nice! I'm building out my Harbor Freight trailer into a flat bed welding trailer. You've given me some very good ideas here. Thanks for the video!
Awesome !
Very cool ideas. Building something similar just added a truck rack for more storage ladders etc. Keep up the good work

Harbor Freight rods. Wow! 🧐 Nice little rig, though. 👍
Welding supply is closed on Sunday, in a pinch and happy harbor freight was open ! Thanks for watching.
Very clean nice set up
I'm going to be doing some add on like a rack, extinguisher, etc in the future. Thanks for watching !
great video, subscribed, thanks
Thanks for watching and subscribing!
Very nice
Thank you Mr. Featherstone !
Great job on the weld trailer build! Now you gotta build a dedicated truck just to give ideas on how you'd do it and then just tear it down afterwards sense your shop doesn't need it LOL! Example: welding skid for regular pickup , utility body version for the contractors and then a 1500 series custom built using the original bed by cutting the sides down and welding in side load boxes. Just kidding. I'm sure y'all much to busy for all that. I'm kicking around the idea myself about converting a crew cab 1500 into a light duty welding rig using the original bed and cutting down the bedrails to weld in some under deck style boxes. If I do I'll try to get some pics and or video to you guys.
Hey thank you for watching I'm going to be adding on to that trailer I'm going to build a gin pole with an attachment and a rack probably put a fire extinguisher in a couple of other gadgets on
Love your setup my man!! Nice welder.. I just started a channel myself I don't have a trailer I just work with my pickup...I'll be making a video soon
Awesome ! good luck with the channel !
Nice rig buddy
Thanks!
I think I'm going to copy your design I really like this
Sweet
Really helpful video and well put together. Way too many of these types of videos have some kind of clicky title only to end up being some guy rambling on about whatever irrelevant information is flowing to his brain at the moment, like other comments mention you did a hell of a job organizing and laying out that setup as well as presenting it. Bet you do great work.
That's awesome ! I'll be doing some add on soon, thanks for the comment !
Nice light duty set up! Not a fan of the plastic buckets personally. Like everything else though
Welding helper here. First day next Monday. Very excited, very excited. When i look at the craftsmanship of your build i was impressed. Very nice build. As a newbie to the hopeful future and planned progression of work, what would you reccomend as some of the first types of tools to build and why?
First congrats on your new career! 1. U-Vex Bionic face shield - hearing protection and respirator will fit under 2. quality eye protection 3. quality glove / denim jacket / boots 3. quality grinder 4. wood handle chipping hammer and the rest ask the welder what he thinks you need to trail him. Thanks for watching and good luck !
@Richard Sanchez, congratulations!
Be safe and save your receipts. You only get one body and anything you buy is a write off!
Guzzi Fabrication gave you some good advice. Some bib overalls will save your clothes some wear and tear as well.🙋👍
I have a 2023 mitsubishi outlander and I would love to have setup like this to tow around that's why I asked where did you get it from or did you build it out?
Great Welding Trailer like the way you have done everything. What aid the size of your trailer? I have a Lincoln SA200 I’m restoring I would like to build that please share your build Thanks
4'x14' OA, Thanks for watching !
👍👍
Love the build. I'm about to build a similiar version. Thanks for the inspiration.
Was wondering what your length and width was. Before the tongue.
The with I know is 4 ft wide and the length 5 remember right somewhere around 14 ft O.A. Thanks for watching !
Amazing setup. You have a shop anywhere.
Yes Sir ! Thanks for watching !
What do you do for theft protection for the level and saw horses? I want a flat deck trailer but my big holdup is that
It would be easy enough to add a lock to those, maybe I should.
Surprised you didn’t build a headache rack on the trailer to help carry long materials.
It's in the works.... Thanks for watching
What model/ size is the rear job box that thing looks perfect
That box is a 48" ridgid jobsite box from home depot
Nice trailer setup but what about a place to carry materials like pipe, angle iron or flat bar?
Materials are carried in truck, however I've been considering building a material rack onto the trailer. Thanks for watching.
Any videos showing the spoolmate 150 in action?
Actually yes that video is in the works I'll try to finish it up sometime soon thanks for watching
Can a plant be built with a generator mig, tig, arc and oxy/acetylene together but I don't mean powering all at the same time, just to have any of them there ?
?... Thanks for watching !
What kind of axle do you have on the trailer? I have a similar trailer at home and I was thinking of doing something like yours. I just wanted to know if my trailer could handle the weight. Also what are those jack stands actual name and use? I’ve never seen them before.
Way over kill....it's a 3500lbs axle I purchased at Northern Tool, it was on sale. Those are welders folding jackstand available at any welding supply store. I love them !!
Where did you find the twist connectors for building the leads box? I can’t seem to find any that would mount up like that. Sweet build!
Ebay type in: WeldingCity® Dinse-type Panel Socket Cable Connector Pair #2-1/0 35-50mm
Thank you!
Did you build this trailer if so how
Ive got an Optrel helmet, wish I had my money back. Smoke gets behind the proprietary and expensive lens covers.
I have one 2.5 and 2 2.0 crystal Optrel helmets, never experienced that one... Thanks for watching
Very good job,. How u start a welding machine,if no electricity,do u have a generator? Thank u.
The welder is gasoline powered. Thanks for watching !
How much does the trailer weigh fully loaded? I’d like to build something similar if it’s towable with a Jeep Wrangler.
Unfortunately I've never weighed the trailer fully loaded or unloaded. Thanks for watching !
Where did you get those dinse connector receptacles? Definitely want to steal that idea but can’t find them
Amazon
Would be sick to get the plans for this
I scratch built, the trailer dimensions are 14' x 4
Did you angle the front box for a particular reason instead of replicating the rear model of sinking it into the frame or was that cause of the other equipment you have mounted ? Incredibly clean slick design friend , im just fresh starting out trying to get ideas on how to begin , I figured you did it scratch and it’s damn nice . You put your material in the truck for now I saw in the comments, I wonder how an over head kinda ladder rack type removable frame would aid in material storage, however this day in age you need to lock that up just as much if not more then the equipment. Would you do anything different?
@@jfire5118 The small job box is was after thought, I had already built the frame there is a cross brace underneath....or it would have been nice to sink the box, securing ( locking up ) everything was a primary concern. I've been considering a material rack build other than that I'm really happy with the finish and wouldn't change the layout. Thanks for watching !
@@guzzifabrication3448 last thing , did you do anything to support the underneath the job box?
@@jfire5118 Bolted on sides w/bracket to frame.
Nice design, what size are the job boxes
4'x2' and 32''x19''
Would you be willing to give a link, or posts plans to build something like this?
I built the rig from scratch, so there aren't "plans" O.A . 14'x4.7'. The best plan is to layout the boxes, welder, and tools you intend to carry and base the size accordingly, Thanks for watching !
Awesome build! What are the dimensions of the trailer?
4'x14' OA, Thanks for watching !
How much does something like this weigh. But looks great
That's a great question... well the welder ways 600-lb itself the trailer frame is way over built plus everything else just a total guess 2000 - 2500 lbs ???
Nice build. How are you liking the 250GXT so far?
Thanks ! It's a great machine for the types of light/medium duty field work we do. Not welding related, but we were hit hard in Texas 2021 ( because the electric provider here puts profits first not maintaining/upgrading Their equipment...... ) I ran the GXT 10/12 hours all day and supplied my own electricity to the house off of it....... I ran flawlessly, Thanks Lincoln ! Couldn't count on Oncore the electric provider........
@@guzzifabrication3448 thanks for the info. I’m looking to get one. Really hoping to get a rebate or wire feeder included but doubt that will happen at this point. Happy New Year
@@mikebb9769 So let me tell you how far out of hand they have let inflation get, I purchased that machine new 3yrs ago and it came with a free suite case welder...... $5000.00...... makes you sick.....
I don't know about the quality of the machines sold now..... Yeah everyone has their opinion on what machine is best.... but Lincoln is my go to. Thanks for watching
@@guzzifabrication3448 what sickens me is that it doesn’t have to be this way
Looks good ... Has it been used ?
It has now...
No extension cord for the miller?
Yes, just happened to not be in the box that day.
Where did you get this trailer from?
I built it from scratch
I sold my trailer a month before going into the welding world.. I regret it so bad...
Good news you can build again, keep looking for brother....
Thanks for watching
Sure will..
Hello, What thickness diamond plate did you put on the deck of the trailer?
More than likely 1/8 of an inch it's been a little while since I built it
@@guzzifabrication3448 Thank you! Building a 4'x8' to set my welding equip. on.
@@grumpyguys4082 Nice !
What are the dimensions of the trailer.?
If I remember correctly w 4' x L 13'

I was thinking rack first.
Do you even use that thing? It looks brand new.
That was just after I built it and I've only used it on 2 jobs..... 99.9% of my business in inhouse..... I just wanted to build one.
What is the length and weight of the trailer loaded up. Thanks
If I remember right about 13' long 4.5 wide and loaded weight.... no idea
It's a beauty 😍
@@MrJasonmca I just added an air compressor and will be installing a material rack in the near future.
Have you had the trailer sway with this setup? It looks like too much weight in the back versus the front.
The welder is over the axle, right
...
@@guzzifabrication3448 OK-- I had the load shift towards the back on a trailer one time and I got a nasty sway on the interstate. I like the trailer, I am debating trailer vs. flatbed truck on my mobile welding business. Thanks
@@chriscosby2459 The trailer pulls great, I can lift the tongue by hand, as long as the main weight or load is over the axle you won't have any issues. I see alot of ex-welding rig trucks.... I guess it depends on usage, if your a welder chasing it everyday, then building a truck makes sense or a great compromise is a skid.
Dope setup! How big is that trailer?
Hey thanks if I remember right about 5 ft wide and maybe 13 ft long
Do you run your Miller mig welder off of your ranger? Ive always been kinda iffy about running mine off of my trailblazer
@@natewilliams8823 Yes, I haven't had any issue running the Miller 211, it only weighs 40lbs ( which is nice ) and it's an inverter type, I haven't run a transformer machine off of the generator
how much did it cost for it all
That build was a couple of years ago, so about 40% more to build now....
Is that a 3500lb axle?
That was a couple of years ago, couldn't say..... what I do remeber is I caught all of the suspension componets on sale at Northern Tool. Thanks for watching .
How much for the rig
Just like it sets? Or what do you want to come with it? Hey thanks for watching

@@ashtongreen6270 no pity here. My gear is like it is because I use it
You can always buy new stuff lol for me I’m constantly buying new tools for tax write offs. I just sell the old stuff to all the cheap guys on-site who don’t wanna pay the price for new tools. I end up with new tools for half the price and all the write offs. It’s a no brainer for me.
