Hello @TechSteve, I just have a Question I have a Laptop and a PS5 and Can I use the OBS software to show this monitor as a windows Capture while streaming games or recording SHorts and Clips for YouTUbe and Twitch

@@handlemonium I haven't used this one, but it looks to be a pretty nice monitor too, but I believe the samsung would be better by a little. In terms of value, I'd give that to the samsung (but only when it's on sale)

@@chrisalvarez2467 Go with the Mount It! MI-765 for wall mounting a monitor. To be honest though, I'd just get a nice desk clamp full motion monitor mount, it'll save you from needing to drill holes in your wall
For anyone trying to watch 4K Netflix on this display, you need to use the hdmi port and not the display port. 4K Netflix requires display port version 1.3 and above. This has version 1.2. Took me a couple of days to figure out why I couldn't get Netflix in 4K on this monitor.
I'm using m3 macbook pro. If I buy, I'll use it to daily, not for games. Mac should support 4k quality. Isn't that enough to 4k quality? I'm asking your help, because I don't know what is 1.2 or 1.3.

Thinking about pairing this with my 34 inch SJ55W which is the VA panel.it’s the same overall design stand, height… also,this is such a common monitor there are color profiles available. Not the most features, but it does the job.

@@diyachyy It's doing a good job. It isn't a perfect monitor, there's a little light bleed in the lower left that I can see when the background is black, but I don't expect an Apple Studio at this price point.

Can you please tell me if its possible to change the brightness or backlight WHILE HDR is on, or does it automatically get locked to max brightness when HDR is turned on? because I can't be gaming at 100 brightness when HDR is on in the middle of the night, it hurts my eyes, thanks. My current monitor that uses RGB hdr gets locked to 100 brightness whenever it is on so it kills my eyes, where my TV that uses HDR10 DOES allow me to change the backlight/brightness when i have hdr on, allowing my eyes to not get killed while still enjoying the benefits of HDR.

I'm watching on this exact monitor lol (bought it one year ago for 250) and I must say it's a great value entry level 4K IPS monitor! but you will need a good display port for it, cause it's very bad on HDMI it looks too dark.
I switched to thunderbolt to DP now it’s more amazing

But it seems very few choices? But this monitor is like one out of say 4 monitors. ASUS TUF Gaming VG289Q1A 4K seems like a good one when it goes on sale. But this Samsung? Has similar specs.

Go with the IPS-LCD 28 I been using the Samsung 28inch 4K Monitor for more than 2 years now haven’t faced no issues. It’s definitely a value for money

I haven’t reviewed many, trust me 27” is the sweet spot. The pixels are larger on 32” but it’s your choice

@@TechSteve he probably has it on a presest mode, some of those turn off HDR and other setting adjustments like brightness and contrast

Wow, I just showed what it has, take that up with Samsung for adding it to the menu if that’s how you feel.
I have this monitor, Game mode cannot be used at all when HDR is on. I'm using an Xbox Series S with this monitor and I'm playing with HDR and the game mode feature is no allow.
