What a great concept. I have always wanted to protect my vinyl gatefolds that open up and be able to look at them without removing it from its protection.
I got 50 of these in the post the other day and have wrapped up 25 of my Tone Poets and Analogue Productions records. Wow! The difference is just wonderful. The cover art is enhanced, they look great on the shelf, just like a row of coffee table books. They really are an ingenious storage solution! Thank you!
I just received my order a couple days ago and have resleeved a couple of albums from my collection. They feel really sturdy and look great when paired with the MOFI inner sleeves. Very excited about future products from your company. I'll be doing a review once I finally get around to starting my CZcams channel.

Mike, sir, you are a genius. I mean this most sincerely. I (stupidly) struggled with the double-flap sleeves and put the record in sideways-d'hoy! Hi, i paced my first order this week of the dual pocket sleeves to see how good they are. WOW! What a difference from my previous covers which are okay but have turned cloudy over time. I have to say thanks also to Mint who supplies your covers. I've just placed an order for the gatefolds and will be placing more orders soon.
Hi there. I just ordered a few of the 2 mil dual pocket sleeves and 1 bundle of the multi. Gonna try them out for gatefolds and a few tri folds I have. I also will see how it works with my regular records with the dual pocket. If I love them I’m in trouble lol. I currently use the Japanese resealable sleeves. I am happy with them and they also are very clear. But no dual pockets. Your product looks great.look forward to trying them out.
Just got a bunch of these, love how crystal clear they are. I replace all my inner sleeves and am wondering do most people put the left over inner sleeve, which often times has lyrics and other artwork, behind the album in the dual pocket or do you leave that in the sealed album? I can experiment either way but just curious. By the way I really liked the sample inner sleeve with the integrated flap, can see ordering some of these down the line.
Hi Greg. Thanks for the order and kind words. People either leave the empty liner notes inside the cardboard jacket or store them in the record pocket for easy viewing. Mike
Hi Greg Just a small update...I have released my clear in sleeve and so far have had great success placing most of my lyric and printed inner sleeves inside of the clear inner sleeves. I never intended for this to be an option, but lets call it subconscious planning? lol

Love your resealable double pocket 4 mil sleeves. They work really well just like you demoed in this video. Are you going to make the multipurpose in 4 mil? I have some double gatefold album covers that I would like to protect but still open up without taking them out of the plastic. Thanks.
@@vinylstoragesolutions177 Mine Arrived to Australia today have started to kit out my albums with them got say brilliant by far best I have ever used cheers guys and thanks to Frank from channel 33rpm for making his video that got me on to them.
I am currently researching outer sleeves to protect my new vinyl collection and like these but I have worries that the record, so exposed in the back and out of its case, is at risk of being damaged. If you have a row of vinyl with the records only behind a thin layer it seems they wouldn't be protected enough. How are they protected this way? Does anyone have any reviews for me that use these that can speak to the record laying in the back being protected enough? Thanks.
Vinyl are stronger than people think! The delicate nature of vinyl records mostly come from dirt/lint, static, improper handling (groove wear or dropping the needle), and improper storage (not using an inner sleeve or using bad inner sleeves). Having a record behind a good inner sleeve and an outer sleeve is enough to protect it 99% of the time. The only way it might get damaged from not sitting inside the jacket, is if you deliberately use a sharp object and run it across the back of the record. That is very unlikely if you are simply pulling it in and out of the shelf most of the time. I have also worked at a record store before and we stored our most expensive records with the vinyl outside of the jacket in an inner sleeve to protect the jacket.
If you buy the 4 mil outer sleeve AND you put the vinyl in a 3 mil inner sleeve, there's 7 mil of super resistant plastic protecting it. Also, if you always put them at the back and store them next to each other there's gonna be an entire cardboard jacket plus all the plastic between each vinyl. In fact, the cardboard jacket is probably the most likely to damage your records. Cardboard is much more abrasive and sheds a ton of dust which will then fill the grooves and be dragged by the stylus which can long term damage both the record and the stylus. This is also why you should not use paper inner sleeves (unless they are japanese style archival rice paper).
Is there an advantage to making this out of 2mil vs the 4mil aside from being cheaper? For example are the 4mil a tighter fit or something? This video is on the 2mil page but not on the 4mil page so just want to make sure I'm not making a mistake going 4 over 2 t to protect my gatefolds. I'd prefer the extra protection of 4mil. Thanks!
What are your thoughts on inserting the record jacket into the side of the outer sleeve, so that the seal is on the spine? I started doing it recently because when I put my records into my crates, the incoming record sometimes catches the seal on the bottom of the record that it’s going behind, leaving the flap of the seal bent.
Yep, if you don't separate the albums to slide in another it can happen. That's why there is a tuckable flap version. Since the flap is on the inside, you can't catch it.
vinyl storage solutions, pictures would be great! Whenever it’s convenient for you. Love your product, thanks for providing an awesome product and service.
Hi. Yes, keep the album safely tucked away from the elements and other destructive opportunities forever. If you want to take the album out, look at the tuckable flap version as an option. Thanks Mike
I followed your tutorial for using 2 sleeves for my gatefold, but my second sleeve (on the inside) kept bunching up. Any advise? Also, is it okay to store both records in the outer portion of the double sleeve?
Hi. Yes there will always be a small amount of material that will need to collapse upon itself. Depending on the width of the spine, it's less noticeable with thick spines. Yes you can store 2 records in the extra pocket. BUT make sure you use a thicker inner sleeve like my 2 or 3 mil rice paper sleeves. If you don't have those, make sure to place other rice paper sleeve back to back, as the front panels are very thin. Thanks
@@vinylstoragesolutions177 Thank you! Good advise on the sleeves back to back! I appreciate it. I’m not a fan of the bunching up, but it will have to do until I find a better solution.
Is there a normal (cheaper) postage option available to Australia..? I really want to grab two sets of 25 but can’t justify $70 in postage for express delivery. That’s more than the item costs… and I am happy to wait… I don’t need it express.
I think this is really cool but I have 2 concerns. First I see you can seal up the jacket but the pocket for the record is open on top. I would be worried about the record falling out if it gets turned upside down. Also since that flap is open I would think that dust will get in there and accumulate on the record.
For those concerns, you have a dual flap product. Anyways, everyone turns their record 90 degrees away from the open, just like I did in the video. Thanks
